Vanderbilt Lands Top Transfer Center

0:00On April 19, Vanderbilt just landed a 7-foot center from Colorado, Bangit Dac, who's officially committing to the Commodores. The junior transfer averaged 11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game this past season with the Buffaloes. Dac shot nearly 50% from the field and scored in double figures 22 times, even hitting 20 or more points twice. He stepped up as Colorado's top scorer in six games and led in rebounds 12 times. This is a huge get for Coach Mark Bintin, filling a key knee for size and power 5 experience in the front court. Dac's athleticism shines around the rim, and he grabs boards on both ends while showing some range on jumpers. He's Bintin's third portal addition this offseason, joining Ford Burke Bow-Uve Tunsell and Guard Ace Glass from earlier this week. That front court duo could make Vanderbilt one of the SEC's strongest come November. Expect more move soon as Bintin keeps building that 2026-27 roster into a contender.
