Vancouver stabbing suspect booked for attempted murder and assault

0:00On Saturday, March 28, at about 11.45 pm, Vancouver police responded to the 7800 block of Northeast 12th Street for the report of a disturbance involving a knife. When officers arrived, they located a 29-year-old male with life-threatening stab wound injuries. A female at the scene was not physically injured. The suspect in the stabbing, 35-year-old Jason Johnson, exited the residents and was taken into custody by police without incident. He had non-life-threatening injuries that he sustained during his attack of the victim that required hospitalization. On Tuesday, March 31, Johnson was discharged from the hospital and booked into the Clark County jail for attempted murder and assault for domestic violence and displaying a weapon.
