Utah Mammoth Triumphs Over Capitals

Praterko also scored for Utah. Clayton Keller picked up two assists, setting up both of the Mammoth's first period goals. Carol Vegemelka was steady in net, turning aside 23 shots to secure the victory. For Washington, Pierre lute Dubois and Ryan Leonard tallyed the goals, but Logan Thomson could only stop 20 of 23 shots. The capitals saw their 5-game home winning streak end. Power plays proved crucial with Utah scoring twice on the man advantage and Washington once. Peter Kasekin period tally made it 3-1 before Leonard cut it back late.
