He described the whole thing as just an exaggerated version of a simple conversation, nothing more. Fans and media ran with the drama, picturing tension from their long mentor, protégé history. Back in 2007, Usher spotted the then 13-year-old Bieber on YouTube and signed him after a bidding war, moving the kid to Atlanta, to nurture his talent. Fast forward, and they've drifted apart, no joint appearances since a Lakers game in 2021. Bieber even passed on joining Usher's Super Bowl halftime show in 2024, but Usher took it in stride. In the end, the brat stressed their zero-bad blood. Usher's always supported Bieber through tough times and wishes him the best on his own path.
