Hey guys, I'm Kira, and today you'll learn how to pronounce the word WUTH, which is used when pointing to something literally or figuratively. Let's start with good Russian default mouth position. Draw slightly forward, tip of the tongue behind the bottom teeth, lips rounded and protruded. WUTH, WUTH. If yours still sounds like VOTE, hang on. In English, the letter O closes to an O sound, O, O, but Russian does the opposite. It opens either from an O to an O sound or from an O to an O sound, O, O, O. Let's try our word again using this opening technique, draw, tongue, lips, WUTH, WUTH. When you say that there, make sure you're using the part of the tongue just behind the tip to make contact with the roof of the mouth and don't allow any buzzing or aspiration
