So we shouldn't get the parachute pants? These are making a comeback. I think. Discover is accepted at 99% of places that take credit cards nationwide. TJ, I love the way you break the game there. L.A. Man. He was drafted by my squad number two overall 99 and plaques. Man, you are 757 products. Ain't everybody knew plaques was going up around the man. Three of the best to ever do it on and off the field now. Live from the Fox Sports Radio Studios. Here's pro bowlers Lava R&D. TJ Hushman Tata and Super Bowl Champion Plexico Perez. Howdy, welcome into our two. This is up on game. Fox Sports Radio. You got TJ Hushman Tata. We got Plexico Perez with us. I'm Lava R&D. We got a lot to get to. Not a whole lot of time. We got a whole lot of basketball to talk about.
But before we get the basketball. And the inside stuff. We'll call it from our guy. We're going to talk some Logan Paul. And what he had to say. But when you hear this, you know that this guy is going to be coming up next. And he's going to help contribute to the conversation. Let's go. Now, it's time to check in with Coffs the Legend from some dude show podcast on Up on Game Presents. Coffs is giving you his spicy takes on what's going down. Hope you can take the heat like Lebron. And now, here's Coffs the Legend. It's go time. Coffs. All right. As I mentioned, you know what you're going to hear as soon as you hear that intro. How you doing, man? Coffs the Legend from some dude show here after a great omelet session that he had this morning. How you feeling, bro? You know they call me the omelet god on Instagram, right?
So just follow me on Instagram at Coffs the Legend. Some dude show is going to reload and relaunch very soon. You know, I've got some spicy stuff I'm doing. But man, it's 85 degrees today, bro. In North Carolina, it's the greatest robbery in sports, bro. We got the college basketball Duke versus Carolina tonight. Your boy is going to be there tonight. How about Sarah? Are you going to be there tonight? Yes. I mean, you hear my voice. I'm excited. Because you know, media row cuffs is going to be in a building in camera indoor stadium, bro. And growing up as a kid, like I got tears in my eyes. I got goosebumps right now. Like as a kid growing up in North Carolina, watching like Rishi Wallace and Dakota. And you know, going back to Christian late in their dandy fairy. You know, the list goes on. Like I grew up in tobacco road, man. So being on the fan side, that's a little boy. I'm talking. Michael Jordan was at UNC. I vaguely remember that it's two years old. That's how I grew up in my memory. So now, too.
You put it on that too. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I got the memory of an elephant, man. But I was there. I was there. I was there in those Duke versus UNC trenches. So now to be able to be blessed enough, I think this sports sports radio and all my other platforms. Like to be on the media side to watch Cameron Booser. You know, tonight, that Duke team who I feel like they can win it all this year. I'm not talking really been watching cars basketball. But Cameron Booser is really. Is it the best player? Is he the best player in college basketball? I would say he is the best college basketball player. Yes, he might not end up being the best pro out of this group. You know, Darren Peterson or AJ DeBonster, we've seen this talent. There is a cup who I love. I absolutely love shot the a cup. But Booser, man. The only thing I hate about this game tonight that Kayla Wilson is not playing. The star for UNC. No, man. Yeah, he's projected top five. He heard his finger impractish yesterday.
And when I saw the brick and news, I was like, oh, he would have played last night. Can you imagine the atmosphere with him in the game? Because I think Duke is like a 17 point favorite. So, you know, we're going to take him to the woodshed tonight. We're going to take the target to the woodshed again. But I'm just saying, man, blessed to be able to cover this game tonight. This is ever, ever. He's more Carolina, man. Enjoy, enjoy. All right. Like we, we're going to get into basketball. I promise we're going to talk basketball, more basketball. But we got to pay off the T. So you talked about memories and then good memories. Well, Logan Paul has a good memory too. While in the media, he has made it very, very clear and apparent that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. owes him about $1.5 million, stemming from a pre-fight agreement. Now, you would have thought that that's the bigger hit line talking about Logan Paul. But he finds himself in the media talking hit about being able to whoop any football player.
Here's what he had to say. The sound on what he had to say. What football players would straight up beat his ass? Not a single one. Not a single one. Not a single one. Not a single one. I would put any amount of money that you could put. McCaff? Not a single football player. What they do? They beat me in a boxing match. Miles Garrett. That is on God. Miles Garrett. Miles Garrett. Miles Garrett. Miles Garrett. I will bet you admit. Why did we choose him? It could be any name. But any football player. Miles Garrett. Pooka Nacua. Pooka Nacua. I don't even know. Don't even try calling out Sam Donald. Sam Donald. Don't do it. Doesn't matter. A million dollars. A million dollars. You come to the gym. We put on boxing gloves. We see how it goes. I think it's catfellas. I honestly do. I think that they do an amazing job of being able to promote themselves and create these
moments that people get behind and want to pay attention to. But I mean boxing is different though now. It is a different way of going about doing things and if you're not prepared. And he even said like he doesn't want to fight somebody that he would have to prepare extensively for. He just want to fight somebody and see if he can knock them out. What was y'all's take on it? Like y'all's response or reaction to Logan Paul saying he could whoop at any foot. Like any. He didn't like. He said. Can I take this one? Can I take this one? Sure. Logan Paul is one of the greatest clout chasers, slasge marketers, the kick-and-market. He's a YouTuber, right? He came from YouTube. He knows how to rage bait us into this, right? Because we know there's no way he's going to step in him. He said boxing, right? With boxing gloves, right? Boxing gloves. Yeah. He's not going to step into that ring and beat Lavar Ernst and in the boxing match I saw.
Don't put me in that. I don't know. Don't put me in that one. Don't put me in that one. If we in the street, I got his number. If we in the boxing ring, I don't, you know, go for real. I know your chick in your light is on your kneecap. Real dog. If we go. Yeah. I'm going to hit me for me to go down. If I chase him long enough, I might hit that. I might hit the edge of that ring and grab that rope and say, hey, man, like oxygen. They got oxygen in the football. TJ, I miss you, man. By the way, I miss you, brother. It's being like cup shows. I got my money on TJ. We see TJ is like this guy where I like y'all know I've seen. I have actually met TJ. But I know his demeanor on the field. I got my money on TJ who's my daughter. Could you get a TJ? Could you get it? So this is what I said. About eight years ago when I was boxing probably two, three times a week.
Yeah. I'm stepping in there. Now, man, I might box twice a month. Nah. But I pointed out somebody that will put hands on him is y'all going to remember his name. When I say his name, y'all going to remember him. Tom Zabakowski. Y'all remember him. He was a player with another name. I played with him with the Raiders. He a boxer for real. He's a real. Yeah. Yeah. I played with him with the Ravens. He, like one golden gloves. I think he had like nine professional fights. He was like nine and oh, dropping dudes. Like he, he a for real boxer. It is dude. Lavy on Bella boxing. It's dudes. It's out there boxing. That's close an age to him. He called him out. Lavy on called him out. He said that Lavy on was was. He said he was clout chaser. And Brandon Jacobs called him out too. B.J. called him out as well. Brandon Jacobs, he boxed. Yes. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Brandon Jacobs. A big old boy. He don't want no problems with him. Like he's going name Tom Brady and Puka.
Like, right? And Sam Darnal. Tom. They said Sam Darnal. I know. I got one guy that I think that I know for a fact. If Logan want to go in the ring for this million, I got one guy that I know that's going to lay hands on him. Who that? You know, James Harrison. I was knocked there, I was. That's a. I'm the opposite side through right with what i'm throwing up sir? Robinalt Chang's person put James Harrison. At the ring with this guy right here at I'm telling him... ... about James Harrison, going to put him down. Hey plan. What? I think I came to just his name. You know, you know the bro. Right? I've never met him. Good. I just wanna ask you like I see him on Instagram! Do you work out and you blow to him? Why, man, like what you retired? You know, like, you know, you want a silver bow? You were, you were doing everything, man, in life. Like why are you, why are you lifting this much weight still, man?
Like, I'll tell you, man, I ain't never seen anything like it, man. And, uh, hey, if you want to try your luck, go and sign up with James Harris and see how that goes. I don't think it's going to go well for him. And he's bigger than, than James. He's taller, but James Harrison is, is heavier. I can't imagine Deebo hitting his men with a body shot. I'm standing up. I just, I just can't see it. You think he could get him in bot because I, now, if it was, and I said this, if it was octagon action, I, I'm taking 90% of the lead. Like any, any, any non quarterback, punter, I might even have some punters and kickers on that list. I could get him if, if they go into, if it's wrestling and fighting, you know, that way. But if it's boxing, these Paul brothers, they ain't no suckers, man. Like we could get caught up in the fact that we call them influencers and, oh, they'd be clout chasing, but the dudes is really tough, man.
They really don't, dude, man. Like this isn't like, like a game where like these dudes can go up in there and hold their own. Like they, they got some, they got some umph with them. But I, I just think that boxing is different. Like we could talk, like, and I, you throw James Harrison out there and TJ, you might go with me on this one. I throw Sean Maryman out there. I said, you want to fight somebody? I say Sean Maryman as well. I think I want to see. Y'all want to set up that fight? I'll pay to go, I'll go, I'll go attend that fight. I'll go see that one. I'll be there. I'll be front row, whatever. I'll be there to see that one. Cause Sean beef, he throws his hands literally every single day. That's not for fake. He promotes. He's got lights out fighting. Hit, that's his life. Like he lives in that. So if you really are serious about it, like I like the LaVie on bail, deal, but if you really, you know, then some people brought up Frank Gore is,
as well, we brought Brandon, Brandon Jacobs up. But I'm mad, man, fight, fight, uh, yeah, fight Sean Maryman. Like take, take Johnny Morton in there. Don't put Johnny Morton in there. I'm not going to let Johnny. Go over. We're going to let Johnny live, man. We're hanging on there. Daddy's still living. Mary, they go, go, he put that man to sleep. All right, we're going to sleep. We're going to put this segment to sleep on the other side of it. As prom is and then you heard like tobacco roll, like cups came in, swinging with the basketball. Now we have to throw the Logan Paul in there. But it's basketball the rest of the way. Stay locked in. This is up on game as Fox Sports radio will be right back. We got Isaac low on crime. Thank you, apart. What's this about? What's this about this guy calling himself the omelet god?
By the way, he had it on social too. I low like I ain't going to lie. It didn't look good, but I didn't see no cheese. I was looking for shredded cheese. I didn't see no cheese. Hit it. He closed it up with no cheese. I don't know how that worked. Exactly. I am the omelet god. You might be the omelet Jesus, but I am the omelet god. You got any thoughts on that? Are you just going to sit there? Hey, listen, man. But one I did have drop cheddar on there. I had baking bitch, drop cheddar and I'm seeing this. I really am the omelet god, but God to my grandfather, man, Ritantice, he taught me to skill work when I was like 11 years though, I low and my wife, my wife asked for my omelet every day for 25 years. But she does. Hey, cuffs. What are you guys laughing about? Get your minds out of the gutter, Colleen, having a culinary discussion with this gentleman. And you guys are, so cuffs regarding your Russell Westbrook post is the proper pronunciation media herbs as in 11 herbs and
spices or media herbs as in one time Indiana Pacers forward. Herb Williams, huh? Herb Williams exactly is like a herb, like a spike, like parsley, like herbs. So a media herb is basically a guy who never had a box in one plate on him at any level of basketball. Never had any book. It's never 40 buckets, but they talk to the players crazy. That's pretty much what a media herb is. God, the Westbrook. God, yeah, thank you for the clarification. See, I always learned something when I talk to cuffs, the legend. Let's learn something about what happened today in the National Football League Fellows. The Dallas Cowboys today plays to $5.7 million second round tender on pro bowl, place kicker, brand and Aubrey. If Aubrey signs an offer sheet with another team, the Cowboys love the right to match it. If the Cowboys don't match it, they'll receive a compensatory second round draft pick the Houston Texans today, restructure the contracts of defensive backs, Derek Stingley, Junior and Jalen Petri, creating $22 million worth of cap space, Los
Angeles Rams, Cornabac Derrius, Williams announced his retirement today at the NBA Boston Celtic Center, Nikola Vuchavitch will be at least three to four weeks after having surgery today to repair a broken right ring finger. Finally, the NBA today fine Dallas Mavericks forward Chris Middleton, $25,000 for throwing his mouthpiece in the direction of the stands in Thursday's loss at Orlando. Okay, guys, back to you. Appreciate it. I low and you guys mentioned media herbs. Herbie handcuffs. Where you want to start, Cuffs? Do we want to start with Russell Westbrook? Do we want to go to Jason Tatum? We got to start with JT, man. We got to start. I mean, yeah, I mean, I think he's balling where we want to start with this. I think the name of this segment should be some do smorgasbord because I got so much on the smorgasbord right now. All right, let's smorgasbord. Like Black said, like Black said, I want to talk about Jason Tatum, my Duke brother, my Duke brother in Christ, 15, 12 and
seven last night in only 27 minutes. And there were so many questions and doubts, even he said at post game, he cried so many nights. He doubted himself because I've never dealt with any type of injury like that God bless any type of you guys play sports, you had different injuries, but that Achilles is a back in all player. It's a confidence thing like we look back at some of the guys that came back like way back in the day, Dominique Wilkins, we were I remember being a kid when Dominique Wilkins first for his Achilles like that. And we thought his career was over. We were sad like man, the human highlight really, he's walked now and y'all remember when he came back to the cell, if he was washed, when he went to the comfort, when he went to the clippers first, he was never really the same Nick. And I feel like Tatum as a player, you have those doubts. So last night to see him go out there and pretty much look like the same Jason Tatum, of course he's going to get his rhythm back, but I mean, he almost had a triple double last night. And it was legendary.
I just took my hand to him because I know it had to take a lot of perseverance to push through man and a lot of people were saying it was even me. I feel like I wouldn't advise him that I wouldn't have it by time to come back this soon. But we can never question his heart, his heart ever again, because you guys remember before the Celtics won that championship, the label on that, the label on Tatum was just like dirt and whiskey before he won his ship that he was soft. He wasn't mentally tough. He was a soft like in care, but pretty hair. You know, all the, no, so to put him to come back and it's it makes the Celtics the favorites in the East. I feel like man, they're already in second place right now. So I mean, listen, I've never had a catastrophic injury, you know, you know, playing football, you know, blessed and I just can imagine where he was at mentally because that's the hurdle. I mean, for him, especially we didn't expect to see Jason
just telling him back on the basketball court this year, nobody did. And for the fact that that he had enough confidence in and mental stability, man, to be able to go out and to block that out and almost have a triple double and look the way that he did, man, it was just, it was a beautiful thing to watch. And I can only assume, you know, for him moving forward, man, that his confidence is only going to continue to grow. He's going to get stronger as this whole thing, you know, goes forward. But man, shout out to Jason Taylor, man, and just like Cups just said, Boston Celtics, I believe that they are in the driver's seat in the Eastern Conference to come out of these. If if he continues to get stronger and healthy and play the way that he played last night, yeah, it was real risky. I was shocked that he came back 10 months after the injury, considering they were playing well. And I thought about some, uh, Mr. Custa
Legend, I'm calling Custa Domus put up his, uh, he felt like, hey, man, this is becoming Jalen Brown's team. I got to get back. He did so. Do you? How much that do you, I think, played into this? None. One hundred one hundred percent. That's two opposite ends of the spectrum. I'll say as an athlete, none, if he wasn't ready, he wouldn't have come back. But man is just for him to be young. It's so risky. And he played 27 minutes, I believe. I thought he was going like, like, to make that call, like, medically trainers, yeah, organization to make that call on your franchise player at his age, at least putting that a 20 minute restriction, five minutes each quarter. Hey, that's it. But, uh, if Tatum, because I was shocked, he played well last night. Man, he played really well. If you know he's only going to get better, if he continues to improve, we bought to being for a treat these playoffs because you got lost the Celtics, you've
got to Detroit pistons, you got to New York next and then when you go to the Western Conference, with Oklahoma City, Despers, the Rockets, the Nuggets, man, it's going to get real interesting. We're getting it. We're going to get a order. Are they? Are the Spurs or way ahead of schedule? Way ahead of schedule. Uh, they, they like a better, quicker version when I say quicker, like quicker to get to the top than Oklahoma City. Yeah. Physical too, man. They feel that physical brand of basketball. Uh, they really do, man. Cuffs, tell me why you think it's a 100% Jason Tatum coming back because he's losing. I don't want to lose and, and uh, kind of glaze over that. What gives you the idea and impression that he rushed back based upon potentially losing that, that title, that tag of being the franchise guy? To be honest, man, is always the outside noise from social media
and the fan bases they create that stuff, right? And the players search their name on Twitter, they see everything and they like, and Tatum, he's always been the face of the Celtics since he was pretty much, you know, the top, the first round pick. Even though the Lakers passed on him, we never gonna make you forget that you passed on Jason Tatum, but he's the face of the Celtics. And Jalen Brown has really emerged to the point where me as a basketball fan, I never viewed him as like, I never viewed it as well as either or because I'm a coach as well, so my coach is like, I want both of these killers. I feel like they can kill you in different ways, in different ways. You know, JT is not a vocal kid, man. He's actually shy on camera if you watch him last night, plus games. He already liked doing all the extra media stuff, but he has to do it because he's a Jordan Brown athlete, he's a face of the league. But now what's happening is the fan base internally, even the Celtics fans is like,
JBT, because JB is a two-way player, he got the finals MVP last year, I mean, the year before. So now it's like, it's a real conversation, and those guys are buddies, but I don't think they're the best of friends, just like Jordan and Pippin weren't the best of friends off the court. And speaking of that, y'all used to laugh at me when I said that, when they was the next Jordan and Pippin 2.0. But guess what happens this year if the Celtics pull it off? That's Korean. That's Korean, man. I just don't agree. In fact, Jason Tatum will put his career at risk because he feels that Jaylen Brown is emerging as the franchise player. I don't believe you can rush back for that. I mean, it has to do with the surgery, the timeline, the rehab. If he was ready to play, which nobody thought he would send on the basketball court, but I don't think that he came back to solidify his face as being
the franchise player, the best player on his team, for the Boston Celtics. It doesn't make sense to me. I mean, I understand they're going to compete. They may not be the best of friends, but I can believe if you ask anybody who is the franchise player for the Boston Celtics, even if Jason Tatum is hurt, I guarantee you that 9 out of 10 people will say Jason Tatum. 9 in 2026? No, no, 9 in 2026. He can't prove himself because he has a ton of killings. That doesn't, that does not take you out of the argument. Injuries play a part of losing being the most dominant player being the best player in the team. We know Jason Tatum is healthy. He's the best player on that team. No doubt about it. No if-and-a-butts about it. 100%. But here's the piece, Black. Jalen Brown got that finals MVP.
And the fans are going to always bring that up. Just like Steph Curry didn't have finals MVP. The ranked got both of them. Yeah, he got a dollar got an NBA MVP. It don't mean that he was the best team. Plus, plus, plus on the team. What I'm saying is Steph Curry, I know this for- I know this for a fact. Steph Curry is still salty about not getting one of those finals MVP's that KD got. I know it. KD got it. It matters. We're quick, we're quick. When Jordan left the booth, Scottie Pippet wanted to prove to the world that he can do it without Mike, bro. It's huge. It's huge. And they were good. He couldn't. Jalen Brown would not get that chance to prove to the world that he can get it done without Jason Tatum because now we see that Jason Tatum is back. He doesn't have that chance to prove to the world. This debate makes me feel like you can't sit there and you can't definitively say
that all Jason, uh, uh, uh, uh, Jalen Brown showed up in the finals and got a finals MVP. He was legit all year round and how he played. I almost feel like you can have an interchangeable conversation about Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum. You will never find anyone of any real sound mind and body. Say that you could have made Jordan and Pippin interchangeable. One could be considered the franchise while the other could be considered the robin in the scenario. That would never be a conversation that would take place between Jordan and Pippin. And I think that is a very relevant conversation as it applies to Tatum and Brown. I mean, that's just my take on it. I feel like that's not not a horrible deal on that. But what I will say and I dare to ask you guys and looking at where we're at right now. And I asked, does it seem like it's early for the San Antonio Spurs?
What is making this spurs team? So like I've watched them play and Wimby is is good. Am I am I off on thinking that? No, I don't know how it is. It's the Aaron Fox man. He's become the engine. And a lot of people were questioning that play they made because he's like, wow, you got the foreign castle. You just got him. He did rookie at the year. But both of those guys speaking of interchangeable, the foreign castle can play the one ended to. So depending on the matchup each night, you know, the spurs are going out here. And they're just reading the matchups. If you look at the ball score, something like castle was triple double mode. And then the next night, Fox is in like the other night, he had like 30, I think, 30 plus. So he is really a spark and swipers wanted to fast as quick as guard in the lead. So when you put swipers far out here with Wimmy Yama, the picking roll packet, you got killed in Johnson. You got coordinate off the bench from top to bottom. The spurs are actually actually have a better roster than OKC from top to bottom.
So I would argue that this talent wise, you know, Harrison Barnes, the Black Falcon for I from North Carolina, you know, from who's born in Iowa. That's our guy. That's the age beat. Like they are the spurs are deep, man. Champagne. Yeah. So every night, like you saw last night, they played the L.A. Tottenham Clippers. Like the clip was up by like 20 something, right? 25 points. Like 20 something. You know, while I was doing the thing and the spurs just walked them down with that. The spurs outscored the last 21 minutes of the game. They outscored the Clippers 66 to 37. The last 21 minutes of the game. I watch it. That's a lot of budget. That's a lot of work. You know what? It just seemed like to me, man, when I'm watching the spurs, obviously, you know, I had to chance to go over to the game last week at a guard man. It just looks like to me defensively that this team that they have right now, they share the same similarities defensively from a culture standpoint.
Still when pop of it was there. It doesn't seem like any drop off defensively, man. The things that they are able to do on a defensive end with Wimby to have them in the paint man, the way that he can close out on defenders. Nobody can get to the lane and you can't shoot ball over this guy. If you want to shoot, you know, about corner three, he's jumping 15, 16 feet in the air, grabbing basket balls out of the air. It's like, how do you get around that? I just think, Stefan Kowski can guard anybody, for sale can guard anybody. You didn't mention my young nephew Dylan Harper. He's coming off the bench giving you 14, 15 points of game. So they just have everything from top to bottom. They can go small, the guard heavy. And obviously, man, this kid, man, it's something that we've never seen before. And some of the things that he's accomplishing and doing on the basket ball court is just mind blowing with him being able to shoot step back three,
that seven four blocking shots. We haven't even seen these kinds of plays being made, but I'm looking at San Antonio Spurs, man, coming out of the West, because I just don't want to leave even OK, CEO Denver in a seven game series. I don't think nobody's going to be San Antonio in the seven games. Can I say this real quick for the break, real quick? I would be a little time. Not to mention our Charlotte Hornets, bro. My Charlotte Hornets right now are looking like the best story in the league right now. Like, I've never seen a major, like a mid season, a mid season turnaround like this. Like the starting lineup, they're starting five right now, with Conquanibu, the Abate, Miles Bridges, Brandon Miller, Lamello Ball. They all remember just a couple of months ago, everybody was talking crazy about Lamello Ball. Ball and now. Yeah, the media was calling them all kind of different names through the media. It was all type of stuff going on. Lamello Ball is special. They are 20 and two with that starting five. And I'm telling you, in the Eastern Conference playoffs, about a month or so from now,
even though they lost last night to the Miami Heat, this Charlotte Hornets team, you don't want to play them at home, because I've been going to Hornets games my whole life. I've never seen that type of energy that's in Charlotte right now. But I want it. All right. I guess. I guess. Listen, I've seen some of the highlights in the way that the Miller Ball has been playing. Obviously, Miles Bridges, but when we talk about the Eastern Conference, when we start talking about the Charlotte Hornets, I get it. There's a buzz around the city and they're playing well, but come on, man. We're still talking about the Charlotte Hornets at the end of the day. And we took that selfie to the woodshed in Boston the other night. Are you watching games? Come on, man. Jason Taylor back. Are you watching? That's over. Are you watching the games back? Man, the Detroit, the Detroit Pistons are the best story in basketball this season.
You don't really know that. No doubt about it. That is a Detroit guy. He's a Detroit guy. What do you think? Five big ones. How do you feel about the Detroit Pist? They are a good story right now. They're a good story. I think they can go farther in the east than I think people think at this point, just on the tenacity and just how good cutting him is playing right now. Durin's sizeable number two. Maybe not great, but I also don't think in this age of the team building, nobody can get that. The two that they're even asking for. But I think they're going to have some real. If they pull someone like San Antonio, I think the San Antonio games they've played. And they've played San Antonio a lot this year. It seems like that's the matchup that I think you just you dread. You dread just for that and just history of that series and everything. But I don't know unless I think their biggest obstacle is if Tatum comes back and is at full power. And then some for the Celtics, but like I don't they swept the mix this year. I don't really fear New York at all.
No, no, no, no, no, listen, listen. I'm not going to do this thing with New York where like again 80% of the media grew up as New York Knicks fans. Like I'm sorry. You're you're teanting everything with your fandom. Get out of here. I agree. I agree. I don't love that. And Hardin has been a difference maker. And they seem to be trending up right now. They can maintain that trajectory. Cleveland could be a dark horse in the conference. They really tell you my estimation. Anyway, let's take a quick break. We're going to come back on the other side of this break. We're going to wrap this thing up. Put a bow on it and send you on your way. Let me ask. Got it. I know y'all probably have discussed this. Cuffs. How does Steve Curry look that Kaminga's ball in small sample size?
But how does make him look as a coach, bro? Steve Curry is one of the biggest frauds. I feel like it's for his coach. Oh, no. He has the four championship rings. But we all know those, those teams were stacked. It was a stack, big. Especially when KD came into the fold, right? Looking at Kaminga on Atlanta Hawks, this flat out run the floor. And not even just athleticism in the open court. But Queen Snyder is pretty much letting him get it. He's letting him get his ISO back. You see in the mirror range pull up the fade away. And the moral of the story is that sometimes these coaches, man, they overthink the game at every level of basketball. And you put handcuffs on players and you become like so embedded in their head that where you take their confidence. And you throw that in Kaminga and go to state on the bench and the huddles. That guy, I'm saying that kid because he's still young. He was getting DMPs on a Warriors team that's not some juggernaut.
I can see a thing where like the old Warriors with KDs still and being a load of snow from crop to bottom, it's Warrior team stinks, man. The boys and young players, but they're not. They don't scare a foe. So you telling me you've been in Kaminga on this type of roster? It tells me that sometimes these coaches have agenda sometimes. And you never know what it is. But TJ, I understand why MJ Snuff's speaker. I think I do. It's the same guy. Jason Tatum in the Olympics. Tatum didn't get no burn in the Olympics though. He did benching. It's crazy. He did bench Tatum. He did bench Tatum. Yeah. Also. Hey, Tatum, Tatum and Haliburton sat on the bench, boy. The whole time. I got one for plaques before we go, you know. Yeah. If we saw the other night, man, LeBron, it came to all-time leader in field goals made. So that means he has more buckets than anybody. Think about it one time when they were saying LeBron didn't have no bag, TJ.
Remember those days when he didn't have no bag. He had no bag. Yeah. And he surpassed Kareem. Abdul Jabbar shot out to Kareem who had what we consider the most unstoppable move the sky hook. So that tells you LeBron James is more than just a dunker, right? He's more than just that further. Oh, of course, man. Nobody's, I don't think I ever, you know, said that LeBron was just a dunker. And, you know, he's, he made this. See, simply one of the best basketball players that we've ever seen. There's no denying that. The longevity man, the way that this man has, you know, went about his business. And he's all around basketball play. And nobody, I don't believe anybody just said he was a dunker. You know, he, he always wants to make the right basketball play, man. And I said, and I think that's one of the, one of the best, you know, characteristics to have as a player.
Because even though you all abroad James and some of those shots that he could have taken that he didn't, he made the correct basketball play. And sometimes it hurt him and sometimes, and sometimes they won. But man, yeah, Kudos to him, man. All time leading score and field goals. Just like we know we had this conversation a little a few weeks ago, man, with a Brian James is no longer playing in the NBA. We always wanted to start. There's no doubt about it. Yeah. And I'm surprised y'all that bring up the speaking of respect and miss. I'm surprised we didn't talk about SGA's coat and press conference and then the game. The Frank Lucas, the Frank Lucas coat, the blue man. Well, you know, they said when you get too loud, man, that's when you, you on the radar and they come get you, man. Did he put himself on the radar with, with the big, with the big fur coat and the big fur face cover coat? I mean, there's New York City. You know what I'm saying? New York City. You can't, you can't come and take them halfway. You got to come with it. There's New York City, baby.
If you go step out there, step out there on this stage, man, they, I saw the coat that I was like, when the hell did he get that from? I've never seen one before, but what animal was that? What animal was that? It looked like a rabbit. It's a good question. It looks like a rabbit, but I guess when you, that's a whole lot of rabbits then. When you make a whole lot of rabbits. Hey, it was a cooperating. It was a cooperating. That was alpaca fur that day. All right, man. Listen, we go wrap this thing up and turn it over to Jonas Knox for the next show. Make sure you stay locked in and doubt in. Well, Jonas, get out of the show today. So it's bridging time. Oh, Jonathan and Mickey K. Yeah. There you go. All right, shots out to them. Yeah, you're right. Shots out to Lou Holtz, man. Before we get up out of here, respect to one of the legends, man. Rest easy coach. All right, this is up on game for us here. Hey, have a good one.
