甘伯伯有一條木船，他的家就在河邊。
有一天，他撐船去遊河，
兩個小孩子、兔子、貓、狗、豬、
綿羊、雞、牛、山羊，全都要求上船。
起初情形還好，
後來這些乘客都忘了守秩序，
忘了「坐船的規矩」
結果船翻了，大家都掉進水裡。
甘伯伯帶領大家游水游到岸邊，
讓太陽把他們的身子晒乾。
甘伯伯還請這批乘客到他家去喝茶，
邀請大家過幾天再來坐一次船。
