31年上校軍旅退伍後，意外進入拉麵店從事店長工作，後來店內組識調整，而變成實際負責人，從英語專長變成飲創服務業，用日本職人精神堅持道地日本拉麵風味。在店內也不定期舉辦愛心活動，近期才辦完「吃美味雞腿串、做溫暖愛心」義賣活動，店家提供烤雞腿串，顧客於結帳時隨心意捐款至「安得烈食物銀行」零錢箱，總共募得20,162元，將全數捐贈幫助脆弱兒少及長者。
