有一个叫魏三的小孩儿，大概十六岁，家里人给他找了个脚商师傅，带着他经商赚钱。他师傅叫张大树，做脚商有三年多了，虽然没赚到什么大钱，小钱还是有的。
这天张大树带着魏三到南坪县走商，当晚本来准备在一个叫花子村那里过夜的，谁知道脚商休息的地方人都满了，根本没有住的地方，二人就准备赶夜路，到不远的其它村子看一下。
