唐朝一位回紇國使者-緬伯高，
他被派去送給皇帝一隻天鵝，
緬伯高來到湖邊時，
決定把天鵝洗乾淨再送給皇帝，
不料天鵝竟然展翅高飛，
只留下天鵝的羽毛，
最後緬伯高只好發揮創意，
為皇帝獻唱一曲，
剛開始皇帝還覺得莫名其妙，
但經過解釋之後，
皇帝不但獎賞他，
還送了許多禮物給他。
『千里送鵝毛』意思是從千里之外贈送
