University Tragedy: Two Students Die Weeks Apart

Natasha Brithwaite, studying fine art, was found unresponsive in her bowling college dorm room on November 20th, and later rules have died. From, drug toxicity, she had been dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after an incident during a trip to Abu Dhabi the previous December. Toxicology reports confirmed fatal levels of morphine in her system, and police noted signs pointing to heroin use in her room. Friends and family remembered Natasha as kind, artistic, and full of life, excited about her new startup university and her recent relationship. They shared how she had big plans ahead, including holiday wishes and time with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Tom Dingell, a philosophy student at the same school, had planned to visit her the night before but fell asleep. He raised the alarm the next day, leading flatmates to find her, though paramedics could not save her.

1:01Tom went missing soon after and was found dead by suicide in nearby woodland on Christmas Day. An inquest concluded Natasha's death was drug-related, while Tom's hearing opened on January 9th this year and will resume in April. Their stories have left a deep mark on the university community.
