Ari Vesar led the way with 26 points and seven rebounds tying his career high. Seth Trimble scored 20 while Jonathan Powell added 15 off the bench. The victory improved UNC to 23 and 6 overall, tying their record for most wins at the Smith Center in a season. Earlier this week, the Tar Heels also be Louisville. They showed solid improvement from the free throw line, hitting 23 out of 30 shots for 76.7%. Freshman standout. Caleb Wilson missed his fifth straight game with a broken bone in his left hand from earlier in February. He's aiming to return for the regular season finale against Duke. Former coach Roy Williams enjoyed the night too, watching his old player Kobe White score 20 for the Hornets, before taking in the UNC win. Vesar stepped up big after feeling down about his rebounding in recent games.
