UNC's Caleb Wilson Declared for NBA Draft

0:00On March 28th, North Carolina freshmen forward, Caleb Wilson has declared for the 2026 NBA draft. The first team all ACC star, and consensus second team all American, made the announcement on Instagram after a standout rookie season with the tar, heels. Experts see a bright pro-future for him. In a recent USA Today Sports Mod draft, he's projected as the number 4 overall pick to the Sacramento Kings. Before a season ending injury, Wilson dominated on both ends of the court. He led UNC in scoring with 19.8 points per game and rebounding at 9.4 boards per game while topping the team in steals, and blocks too. His freshman campaign shatter tar heel records. Wilson posted 11 double doubles, tying for second most by a first year player in program history, and reset marks in scoring, rebounding, and 20 point games. With his skills and projections, Wilson looks poised to make an immediate NBA impact as one of the top young talents coming out of college hoops.
