Many visa holders now account for 13% of all the silent cases. The move protects the UK's ability to help genuine refugees, according to a government spokesperson. People from these nations often cite destitution and claims with 16,000 currently receiving support. The UK resettles the 6th most refugees worldwide through the UN Refugee Agency. Broughter reforms include cutting refugee protection time to 30 months to curb small boat arrivals. Visa threats restarted deportations from Angola, Namibia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
