UK Cod Stocks Hit Critical Low, MCS Urges Zero Catches

The MCS is pushing the U.K. government hard to step up management, while trawled scampy got downgraded too, stick to pot cod versions instead. Waytros is pulling macro off-shells by late April to stay sustainable, even as last year's quotas beat science advice by 32%. MCS heads are worried about pressure on cod, macro, and other favorites.
