UCF Knights' NCAA Tournament Debut vs UCLA

Appearance since 2019, as the 10th seed in the East region, they'll take on the 7th seeded UCL A Bruins on Friday night. The team exceeded low expectations in their first full Big 12 season, showing grit from summer workouts that carry through ups and downs against. Top competition, coach Johnny Dawkins highlighted early signs of potential. Even in exhibition losses to strong squads like Vanderbilt and Texas A&M. Dawkins called the invite the best honor in sports, extra special with his fond memories playing in Philadelphia.
