Uber Eats Driver Jailed for Rape

Sentence for raping a young woman he delivered food to in Boston, Lincolnshire. On January 14th, he dropped off her lunch order around midday, chatted her up about needing help with his visa and local connections, and they swat numbers before he bounced. A few hours later, at 5 pm, he showed back up, things turned dark fast, and he carried out the assault, then texted her sorry right after. The victim didn't hesitate. She called police that same evening around 9 pm, getting him arrested on the spot for rape and strangulation, though. That second charge got dropped later. Judges at Lincoln Crown Court cut his original five-year term down for the guilty plea, tacked on 18-months concurrent for sexual assault, and slapped him with a deportation order, praising her quick move that locked this away swift.
