His old except, bandmate Peter Baltez jumped in on songwriting after officially joining UDO and the Jerk Schneider band in 2023. Udo says he's thrilled to have Peter back in the mix. Peter started playing bass for UDO back in September 2022 as a temp replacement when their bass has got sick after a Munich show. Now with both Udo on vocals and Peter on bass, the tunes carry a hint of that classic except vibe from albums like Restless in Wild, but it's fresh. UDO material, straightforward and heavy. Fans love seeing these except Vets reunite like this. Except formed in 1976 in Selingen, Germany with Udo, Peter and guitarist Wolf Hoffmann.
