Two Shootings in Midfield, Man Arrested

0:00On March 21st, here's the latest out of Birmingham. Police in midfield responded to reports of two connected shootings late Friday night on March 20th, around 10.30 pm. The first involved the girls shot in the leg on the 500 block of Karen Street, followed quickly by a man wounded nearby on BY. William Senior Drive Both victims ended up at UAB Hospital for treatment. Officials have not released the girls' condition, but the man is now in custody as the main suspect. Two teenagers found close to the scene were also taken into custody. The 15-year-old and 17-year-old face charges of aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and reckless endangerment. They have been held at a juvenile detention center with more charges possible as the probe continues.
