Two men ended up in the hospital with gunshot wounds after separate but likely connected shootings in Anchorage's Russian Jack area on March 13th. The first incident happened around 9 pm in the 5,000 block of East 6th Avenue, where police found a man shot in the upper body and rushed him for treatment. A short time later that same night, another man showed up with a similar upper body wound and investigators now linked the two events. Both victims were still hospitalized as of Friday, with no other injuries reported in the area. Police say they've reached all involved parties, but no charges are filed yet as the case stays under active review.
