I'm Cory with the story, bringing you the latest from Canada News today. If you're riding the TTC or Geo Transit this weekend in Toronto, expect some big disruptions on key lines. Line 1 subway service shuts down between St. Clair West and St. Andrew Stations on Saturday and Sunday for essential maintenance work. Shuttle buses will cover only from St. Clair West to St. George, while stations like DuPont, Museum, Queens Park, St. Patrick and Oscar's Day closed. The rest remain open just for buying fairs with full service back by 6 a.m. Monday. Meanwhile Geo's Lake Shore West Line has no trains between Aldershot and Union stations over the same days due to construction and repairs tied to the Geo Expansion Project. Replacement buses run from West Harbor and Aldershot to Union Station Bus Terminal, stopping in Burlington, Oakville and Clarkson. No service hits Applebee, Bronte, Port Credit, Long Branch, Mimico or Exhibition stations,
though trains keep going from Aldershot to Niagara Falls. Plan ahead with these changes to avoid getting stuck as crews push for better, faster service down the line.
