Trusting God’s Love In the Plan 3/27

0:00I don't live by what I see, because my God has made a way for me. Hello, everybody. This is the Believer's voice of Victor Broadcast. I was in Herford, Texas, which is up in the Panhandle of Texas. And I had all my outlines out. I do the headline in blue, and then scriptures in red. And I was there by myself, and I just put all my outlines up here, and I was praying over them. And I just prayed there in the spiritual while, and the Lord said, I'm just just playing on the inside of me. Is there victory in the new birth? Oh, yes.

1:01He said, is there victory in divine health? Yes. Is there victory in being baptized? And the Holy Ghost speaking with other tongues. Yes, absolutely. Absolutely so. He said, every Believer has a voice, and it must be the voice of victory in me. So that's where they came from. I'm talking about a long, long time ago. Yeah. And then there was something that happened in that meeting. There's a, well, there were two things, but there was a woman came up. And so, and she got up there with her daughter. And her daughter just fell on the floor and started having a seizure. And I just pointed her. In your meeting?

2:01Yeah. She brought her up there. And I just pointed, I said, no, you don't. You stop it now in the name. It's, I'm telling you, stop it now. She just did that. Well, the next night. We were in a large abandoned drugstore building. We'd rented that whole thing. It was nice out of building. And the platform we had up there was not much higher than that little step right there. And a little higher than I was staying there in the back door swung open. And Pat, I'm telling you. There was a guy about six four. And he looked like he, he looked like he weighed about 240. And he didn't look like there was a, and I said, oh, Lord, here he comes. He said, brama. Number that.

3:03Kill him. Turn around this walk. Well, what is that all about? Yeah. So, well, right there in the book of Acts, it's very easy. David prophesied it. You will not leave my soul and hell. Neither will you allow my body to come corruption. I took that scripture. And I said, Jesus went to hell for you. And so he came back. And then he testified. He just stood up there. He said, he said, I'm a born again alcoholic truck driver. He said, the Lord delivered me. I'll pass your church here. And he said, I don't like him, tongues. And I showed him things. Jesus never went to hell, I couldn't have.

4:03But he said, you see what happened. He baptized me in the Holy Ghost for I could need you out. He stood up there and he said, I went back and I said, he said, I couldn't stand it. I went to, I left and went over to six years. Sanctuary and I was just praying there. And I said, Lord, did you go to hell? He said, you better, you better believe it, big boy, if I hadn't, you would have. Yeah. He was, he preached the best message of them. But I'm telling you, and the Lord baptized him in the Holy Ghost for he could get out the Holy God. Then we got a message back from the mother. She never had another seizure. She went right on the school. But that was the voice of victory. And that's where that came from. And it is. Now, in aviation, flying is a discipline. And safety is an attitude, boy. Living by faith is a discipline.

5:06And victory is an attitude. So the message in this book is victory. From Genesis 1 to Revelation finished. This is a victorious book. That's what it's all about. Victory of people in the sinners blood of Jesus. And everything he died to produce. So the, the, but you have, you, you must search it out diligently to find the 64th chapter of Deuteronomy. All, all the sickness and disease not written in this book, the Lord will bring on you. It should be the Lord will allow, because he's not physically doing it. So, but it has to be taught.

6:08It has to be believed. It has to be acted on them. Yeah. It's up to anything else. It's a two-way street. Let me remind you something. I was going to say, I want to leave here, pick up the park out there in the, in the shed. And you walk out there and you say, what are you doing brother Copa? I'm starting my truck. No, I'm not. The key is. We were in the California room there and they, they didn't want us until, if we're going to go to church six days a week again. Really? And I used that example like this. Somebody said, who blew up that bus?

7:08The dynamite did. But somebody's responsible for it. He was reading EW Kenyans book. And, and he, he brought this fact out that, and it's just excellent. I don't have to have faith to go get in my pickup or go anywhere. It's mine. I don't owe anything on it. It's mine. But that truck cannot go out there and start and go to go ahead. I'm responsible for it. And that, that's the key to that. We are responsible. Yeah, yeah. And this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us? And we know that whatever we ask,

8:08we know we have the petitions that we desire to have in. We have known and had an intimate relationship with the love. We have known and and was here in as our love made perfect that we may have bonus in the day of judgment. Now, you are of God little children and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you than he that's in the world. Then the fifth chapter, the fourth verse, or who so ever is born of God overcome of the world. This is the victory that overcomes the world even our faith. So the name is the key. The name of Jesus will unlock the door. Yeah. And we proclaim it. And then we do our part. We act on it. Yes. Yes. And Morgan love. You know the name Mel Tari. Oh, yeah. It wrote that incredible book

9:08like a mighty wind. I'm with him quite a bit. He didn't have anybody that was supporting him regularly. And so I said, well, somebody's got to. So I had the privilege. He goes out. He ministers all the time. And then comes back. And whatever they give him, if they give him anything, that's fine. He doesn't ask for anything. But that guy, he, when that, the Holy Spirit broke out in Indonesia, the people there just believed everything that we're saying now. I mean, they preached it. They believed it. And so Mel wrote about things. Sometimes they walked on water. Dead were raised. I mean, the things that we read about here in the New Testament. And of course, you've experienced them anyway. We were talking about a while ago. About miracles you've seen that happened right at your voice of victory, including dead people coming back to life. I mean, when your God gives us that power,

10:11but of course, we have to, like Jesus, the fig tree that died. You know, that was a moment, which I find to be a human moment in Jesus' life, where he had just come through. He had just been, he was desegrating, not desegrating, destroying the temple almost, driving out the money changers. He had just come into Israel to Jerusalem victoriously. And he's hungry. He's weary. He says to this fig tree because he loves figs. I want to fit. Wait a minute. It's not bearing any figs. And it said he cursed the fig tree. Well, what did the fig tree done? Nothing. That was why he cursed it. Well, it's done when he came. It's obvious when you read it, that the forbidden fruit in that garden was figs, because he sowed fig leaves together. The fig is the only fruit mentioned in the garden.

11:13Yeah. So it's obvious that the fruit in that garden that they ate were figs. So he came up on that fig tree. And the fig tree is supposed to have figs at the time it has leaves. Yeah. That's right. It said that. And that tree paid the price for it. Yeah. And we learned faith after that fig tree. Mm-hmm. Yeah. It's up to us. It's hard for us, though, to, as I started to say once about the spanking. I was on the tonight show. Oh, yeah. And spanking came up, and he asked this pediatric doctor. And John, he says, is it a good thing for you to spank your kids? And he said, well, psychologically. And he said, well, it's good to find some other way,

12:13but if a kid is really being obstinate and acting out, be careful, but as a last resort, it's okay. You can spank it, but be careful. Well, then Johnny asked me, and he knew I had four daughters. And he, and I thank God I had gotten when he was going to maybe ask me that. So he said, do you spank your daughters? And I said, you know, Johnny, I'm embarrassed to say this, yes, but I have. I've spanked. I used to get spanked by my mama, and my two sisters got spanked by my mama, and the parent says that you should. In fact, I'm very careful. I don't use my hand. I don't use a piece of wood or anything like that. Maybe a soft slipper. But if, and that's very rare, but if she says something, this disrespectful to her mom

13:14or she does something and she knows full well she shouldn't have done. And these are when they're very young. I'll spank her on that soft place. It's just perfect for spanking in the bottom. And then we hug. And like my mom and daddy always did when they spank me. We hug and love each other. And that always felt better after I got spanked. I felt clean, like we're, we're starting over again. It's fresh now. Okay. I've, I've, I've did that. I've been punished. Now, now what? A whole new life. And I said, you don't want the Bible says. And I quoted the scripture. The Bible says, if you, if you don't spare, I mean, if you don't read, if you don't beat your child, he'll be an embarrassment to his mother. And the audience applauded that the night show was aching to hear, I think, somebody defend spanking because it's something that, that every, I guess, good parent should come to me.

14:15You know, God helped the ones who were not, not punished by their parents and not instructed by their parents. Now, I mean, don't you turn out very well? I did, and I made a huge mistake. Not you. My mother picked up a belt and she went after me. I said, now, mama, I don't want it. And I took it away from her. Oh. That was a bad move. I mean, those Cherokee eyes began to jump. Yeah. Jumped on top of me. I said, where, I, I, I surrender. And you, and remember, you remember. And, now, John, Godwin, Gloria's last nerve one day, she threw a pearcake bottle in him and jumped completely over the cast and landed on top of him. And he said, mama, he said the same thing. Well, I pulled Kelly up to her closet.

15:17That's Kennedy. Hey, look at that closet. You clean that up. She said, that is not my thought. I said, girl, he better make it your thought right now. Yes. Yeah. A parent has a responsibility. Yes. And I'm thankful for every whipping I got and thank God for those I didn't get that I did deserve. But, and I've told you, but I think, when I came to school and I had well, it's all over my thighs. And I was 14, almost 15 years old when I got my first last whipping. And, I just, I don't know why we're talking about whipping and spanking, but it's, it is really more deeply spiritual than that. It's, are we to obey our parents? Are we to obey God? Or are we to have, how it be anyway we want it to be? That's our,

16:17our notion, our false notion of God, that he's a good old guy like a granddad here or a grandmama. He's in, on the throne up there and yeah, we'll all go to heaven. People think that. I mean, what no matter how we live our lives, we're all going to go to heaven anyway. God would never, God's a good God. He would never punish us with eternal punishment. That's not God. Well, it is God. And I don't know. If I, if I've sent it to you yet, my, my last ministry to my kids, my 90th birthday, and speaking to them, probably the last time I would give them, have a chance. And I, my title of them, my 20-minute sermon, was, I timed it. Who is God and why? And in that, I talked about God. Why did God create this human race that was going to disobey him? He knows things. He looked into the future. Why did he do this? And the answer is,

17:17he wants a family. A family. And he's a father, and he wants children to love him. And of course, want things, every blessing from him. But he wants them to obey him, to seek his company, to take pleasure in being with him. He's daddy. In fact, Paul says there, in Colossians, I think, we have, a couple of places, where we are, we can call God, daddy, Abba, which is Hebrew for daddy. He wants to be our daddy. He got so disappointed with that first race of humans, who, the very first ones, disobeyed him. But, but then he got so fed up that Bible says, every thought in man's heart was, was evil continually. And he had to wipe out the whole human race, except for eight people. Now, that's the God, that we think we can play around with, that we can disobey. I mean, he reaches a point

18:17where we've gone too far. That's right. And we need to learn there is a point and I grow it up years. Thank God for, for me, when I was 12, and I was, I was not only saved, but baptized. And, and then thank God for George Otis when he helped me, he led by the Holy Spirit. Well, honor your father and your mother, Holy Spirit. Is the first commandment with promise. Yeah. That you live long on the earth. Well, but, it is so important to not do it in anger. Mm-hmm. The proper discipline is not in anger. And, and I realized later, I had it coming. Mm-hmm. But my dad would just wait, and that was torture. Mm-hmm. Not only twice. Yep. I looked back and I can understand it. Yeah. So,

19:17the way glory and our discipline and our children, we had, we pointed out in the scripture. And I said, John Downham was what the Lord told me to do. He wasn't, but between four and five years old. Mm-hmm. He said, don't preach down to him. Mm-hmm. You're here. Will you do that? Okay. You don't ask permission. Mm-hmm. From a child. And, so I said, John, sit down here. I named you John David, after the apostle of love and David the King. Really. So, I said, okay, let's go over here. I'll show you the King. And I preached about David the King. I preached it just like a preaching church. He said, wow, daddy, that was a long one. But it marked him.

20:19Uh-huh. It marked him. He taught him out of time. And he called one day. He said, I'm bringing the tithe over there to you. Oh, really? Okay. Well, he'd moved in with this boy that Gower said, Robert is a bomb or a bobby or something, or everything. And you need to get out there. No, no, no, no, no. He came over and he said, yeah, yes. But anyway, the whole thing was. He knew how he was living. But he was not going to miss tithe. Mm-hmm, good. He knew what I was living. It sank in. But he was not about to miss tithe. The learn that God means what he says. And he does what he says. Good or what we call bad. My dad taught it to me. Yeah. And my dad, he taught me something recently just before he passed.

21:21About Jesus, who wanted his, he loved his people so much. He was willing to die for them, of course. He loved fellowship. And he had 120 people in the upper room. People following all the time. And then the 12 following him. And then the three that were especially close to him, Peter, James, John. And fellowship, fellowship, fellowship. And then the preacher preached that Sunday that makes his dying on the cross so much more terrible that Jesus giving his whole life dying on the cross. And denied the fellowship. And my dad, he told me later, no, he had fellowship on the cross. I said, what? He said that thief. That thief looked over. They're both hanging, they're dying. But he recognized Jesus as I know you. Will you, will remember me when you come into your kingdom?

22:22Today, Jesus has, I mean, Jesus said today, you'll be with me in paradise. God gave him fellowship on the cross. Oh, that's good. Oh, that's good. Because he, God the Father and God the Son, they want us to be like them. And that's our aim. Now just full of clothes here, the pictures you see with that oil and cloth around him, no. He bore the shame. He was naked. Yeah. Yeah. So that we don't have to burst. That's right, final shame. With the blood dripping, every last blood drop.
