Trump Targeted for Assassination...Again

Join Jim and Greg as they dissect an assassination attempt against Donald Trump for the second time this summer. Today, they walk through the disturbing details of what happened in Florida on Sunday, the callous reaction in the media and beyond, and some of the bright spots that we can also see.

Next, they highlight media figures like NBC's Lester Holt and MSNBC's Alex Witt appearing to blame Trump's rhetoric for the latest attempt against his life and suggesting it's Trump who needs to tone down his statements.
Finally, they're thankful for a very observant U.S. Secret Service agent whose vigilance stopped the threat to Trump's life before it could materialize. They're also grateful to learn Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis plans to have state authorities investigate what happened.
