The Toronto Blue Jays pitching staff has the potential to top major league baseball this season. The team added depth through free agency moves to handle a full 162 game schedule. But their most promising arm is already homegrown. 22-year-old right-hander, Trey Yessevich, who could develop into the franchise Ace. Yessevich joined the organization in the first round of the 2024 MOB draft. He started last year in single A with low expectations, but tore through four minor league levels. By September, he earned a big league debut and helped fuel the Jays' push to the World Series. In the majors, he showed real poise with the highest release point in baseball.
