Trevian Carson Joins Cincinnati Bearcats

0:00On April 24th, Cincinnati men's basketball just locked in guard Trivian Carson for the 2026-27 season. First year head coach Jared Calhoun dropped the news on Friday. Carson's got one year of eligibility left after Stins at North Dakota State and Des Moines area community college. Carson built his game over two seasons at that Iowa community college before transferring up to North Dakota State for last year. There, he helped the bison dominate the Summit League with regular season and tournament titles. Fans and scouts are buzzing because Carson earned all Summit League first team honors, pulling down 6.5 rebounds a game alongside 11.9 points and 2.9 assists. His squad punched a ticket to the NCAA tournament and he lit it up with double figures 20 times, topping out at 29 against Drake. Coach Calhoun loves how Carson knows winning basketball, shining in picking roles and off-ball spots while playing multiple positions.

1:00Back at community college, he snagged player of the year and NJCAA. All American nods as a sophomore averaging 14.9 points and 7.8 boards. Bearcats are stacking proven pieces early setting up Calhoun's squad for a strong run when Carson arrives.
