Tragic Crash Kills Man and Boy in Jefferson County

A tragic crash in Western Jefferson County claimed the lives of a 33-year-old man and a three-year-old boy over the weekend. The victims were identified by the Jefferson County Corner's office as Orland Daniel Rodriguez and Jared Ramos. The incident occurred at 7.56 pm, Sunday in the 700 block of Eastern Valley Road. According to the chief deputy corner, the two were standing in the road when a vehicle struck them. They were pronounced dead at the scene just five minutes later at 8.01 pm. The driver stated the crash site and cooperated with authorities. No other injuries were reported.
