Tragic Crash Kills Family, Driver Arrested

Francy Connors, a man in his thirties and his three-year-old daughter Kay, died after a white tipper truck slammed into their pony and trap on the A. 228 near Tonbridge. The pony was also killed at the scene. This happened around 6.25 pm on Wednesday. The truck hit them from behind while everyone was heading southbound. Kay was rushed to the hospital, but didn't make it, and Francy was pronounced dead right there. Reality TV star Patty Dirty, Francy's cousin from Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and Big Brother, led the tributes on social media. He called it a heartbreaking travesty, describing little Kay as his little princess and praying for the surviving mom, Rita Connors, who's fighting for. Her life after emergency brain surgery, fans flooded posts with prayers and shock over the loss. Kent police arrested the 29-year-old truck driver from the area and he's still in custody.
