We had a good night of Premier League football last night, but unfortunately it was a night spoiled once again by PGMOL in competency and by shenanigans by anti football shenanigans. And let's start with the anti football shenanigans from Arsenal. One nil win away to Brighton. But Kiosaka opens the score on nine minutes with a fairly poorly shut struck shot that the

2:08goalkeeper really should save a ghost to his legs. It's an unforgivable error from for Brugan. That is one of only two shots on target that Arsenal managed all game long. And one of only four shots they had in the entire game. A very poor performance from Arsenal completely outplayed by Brighton. And once again heavily reliant on PGMOL to dig them out of jail. Gabrielle Marcnelli undeniably fails. Matzvi for in the penalty area. It's a rugby tackle. It should be a penalty. And somehow they get away with it again. It is absolutely disgusting. What referees are just turning a blind eye to. The bigger issue with this game is not the fouling on set pieces. It's not the foul by Marcnelli. It's not even the three different times that David Raya went down pretending to be injured, which by the way, can we can we get some sort of ruling on this?

3:15If he starts going down like this again, he should be forced to be subbed off. Officials should be forcing a substitution or sending him off because it's blatant shading. The bigger issue here. 31 minutes. Arsenal wasted on restarts from set pieces to goal kicks to throw in. 31 minutes. Now bear in mind, they only had three corners in the entire game, which will tell you why they struggled in attack. But they wasted 31 minutes on restarts. Now Brighton had 13 shots, three that were on target. So you're looking at at least 10 that went off target and thus resulted in a goal kick. You're looking at 14 fouls committed by Brighton. That's over a minute every single time on each of those. It's disgusting. It's absolutely

4:19disgusting. How a team that cost as much as this to put together has to play like this with this much talent. I just don't understand it at all. I don't understand why our teta is such a coward. He is an absolute abomination on the game and they're likely going to win the league now because of the PG-MOL in competency last night and it will be the most meaningless title in the history of the Premier League. At the Eddie had last night, nodding and forests went there expecting to get beaten, decided they weren't going to get beaten and came away with a two-two draw. But again, PG-MOL in competence involved. Semenio opens the scoring on 31, Morgan gives white equalized on 56 with a gorgeous back heel. Rodry scores from a set piece, well from a header from a set piece on 62 before Elliott Anderson scores an absolute stunner on 76.

5:25Eurling Harlan goes through on goal. Nox had passed the goalkeeper now. Is he knocking the ball out of play? Probably he's probably not getting to it but it doesn't matter. Matt sells clatters into him. It is a Stonewall penalty. And if it's not a Stonewall penalty, you have to book the fella. Didn't see a yellow card coming out. It is an absolute Stonewall penalty. It's not given it is absolute incompetence. And it's more and more evidence that the PG-MOL and the Premier League are just desperate for Arsenal to win the title. We've already heard people from the Premier League including the chief executive say, oh well, our plan is for a new team to win it every five years or so. Right. You're just telling us you want Arsenal to win it. So have you told the PG-MOL to make these decisions? Because of the weekend,

And then the biggest rivals for the title, who to be fair, don't have a good relationship with the Premier League anyway, as we know, they don't get a clear penalty. Like, whose interest is this serving? Because not serving the interest of football fans. Certainly not serving the interest of football fans who have been made sit and watch games where one team wastes 31 minutes on restarts. Crystal Palace. No, Crystal Palace played tonight. What am I doing? Look at the wrong games. Moving on. Moving on to the next game, which was a full-on-nil West Ham United won. I don't understand how full-on haven't taken at least a point in this game. By far, the better team controlled the game, dominated possession, more shots, more shots on

7:28target, just far more opportunities. But simple ball over the top. No real danger. Burnt Leno comes out, wins the ball outside his box. He leaves it to Somerville. He doesn't seem, not Somerville, um, Basie doesn't seem to tell Basie that he's leaving it to him. Basie doesn't react. Somerville steps in and to be fair to him. He does brilliantly. Beats the man, shifts the ball to his left floor and just curls it in. Really tidy finish. And it's a massive three points for West Ham. It is an absolutely massive three points for the Hammers. Huge result there. Moving along. Next up, we had Chelsea as Chelsea going to Aston Villa and winning 4-1 after going 1-0 down. So Douglas the Wii scores on two minutes. Villa's first attack.

8:33And then it's just all Chelsea. Now, Ollie Watkins did have the ball in the net later on. It was disallowed for offside, which was correct. But Joe Pedro on 35. Joe Pedro again and stoppage time at the end of the first half. The first was a tap in. The second one is a very clever run and a gorgeous little dink finish. Cole Palmer would make it three on 55. Now, Joe gets an assist on this one, even though he knew nothing about it. The ball just sort of hit him and cushioned down to Palmer. And then on 64, he got his hat trick to wrap it all up. Another tap in, but after good movement by Garnacio. And frankly, Chelsea would just so much better than Aston Villa last night. It didn't appear like it was a match between two teams competing for the Champions League spots. It felt like a team being threatened by relegation at home to a team trying to win the title. Villa were awful. And Villa have been awful. Villa are going to miss out on Champions League

9:37football next season, unless they get their act together very, very quickly. New castle two, Manchester United one. And again, we have PGMOL and confidence in this game. So first half, not a ton happens. It's a decent game, but not a ton happens. Just into stoppage time at the end of the first half, Jacob Ramsey goes into the box. There is contact with his right foot. He does not attempt at any point to win a penalty. He just goes down because he goes down. When he puts his foot down, it's not stable and he falls over. He's not claiming a penalty. He's not gesticulating. He's not appealing for anything. He just goes down. He'd already been booked. The referee walks over and gives him a second yellow card for diving. Number one, not a dive. There was contact. Number two, he's not diving.

10:43He's not trying to win a penalty. It's an absolutely disgraceful decision. Five minutes later, still in first half, stoppage time. Anthony Gordon takes the ball on the left, goes to burst through two United defenders, gets clipped by Bruno Fernandez, goes down. It is a penalty. No question. Gordon steps up on scores. In the ninth minute of first half, stoppage time, Bruno Fernandez wanting to make up for his error, clips in a gorgeous cross, and Casamiro gets his head to it, 1-1. So we go in and half time, 1-1, new castle down to 10 men, United definitely favored to win the game. Definitely feeling confident about their ability to win the game. Come out, we're just really flat second half. Just really, really flat second half. And it looked like we were heading for a draw. And then in the ninth minute, there's a ball

11:49chucked down the line by Karen Trippier for a suler to run on to. And I assume run it into the corner and just see it out. He has very different ideas. And he stands up to Rell Malasia, who, I mean, I don't know how many games that fella's played in the last two years, but I bet you can count them on your fingers. Cuts inside of them, McGuire half commits to coming out, and a suler uses him as a screen, and hits a left footed shot that starts out quite wide and then just curls and curls and curls. And it is a stunning strike as it fires itself into the net. It is one of the best goals you'll see all season. From where he started, where he picked the ball up and then the finish, the drive into the box and the finish. Absolutely outstanding. I said before I don't understand why Eddie how will not play him more because he's really good. He's just

12:57really young and raw, and he needs coaching, but he needs games. There's a reason I interact Frank from a very keen on him in the summer. They could see the talent. They rarely mess on strikers. A suler can be a real player for Newcastle. If this manager lets him have a chance, or the next manager who comes in is smarter than this manager. Shout out to Sandra and Ali last night. What a shift. What a shift in midfield. After the red card, he was doing two man's work and he was unbelievably good. Absolutely fantastic player. If Newcastle weren't trash, he'd be in the player of the season discussion. He's been that good. His work ethic is amazing. On the ball, he's top class as well. He's developed into one of the very best midfielders in the league, and Paul Skull's right. Sandra and Ali is a better footballer than Dr. and Rice. Paul Skulls, though, with a controversial

14:00Instagram post last night saying that Michael Carrick's definitely got something special about him. United in garbage in the last four games. I mean, he's not wrong. They were bad against West Ham. They were bad against Everton. They were bad against Crystal Palace, and they were poor last night. And yes, and yet last night was the first time they'd lost. So they took seven points from four poor performances. That's something they weren't doing under Amarim, something they weren't doing under Ten High. Now, I don't know what the context that he meant that it was. He will have to explain that. I'm sure he will on the next episode of The Good to Bowden the Football. I think I saw Wayne Runei had a bit of a pop out of him about it as well, which was a bit, you know, a little bit aggressive. So we'll see what happens. We'll see what happens. But I thought it was poor from Skulls to say it that way if he meant something else, and if he meant it

15:05that way, it's still, it's even worse to be quite honest. So we start the counter over again for the fellow with the hair. Two wins on the fence. Come to an end. United have nine league games left. Astonville a home looks a certain win. Bournemouth the way I don't think they can win. Or they can win. I don't think they will. Leads at home should be a win. Chelsea a way I don't think they win. And assuming, assuming they don't beat Chelsea, they would then have to win their last five games in a row for him to get his haircut. Because remember, they're only in the league. Brentford home, that'll be tough. Liverpool home depends on what Liverpool turns up. Sunderland away will be tough. Forest home, they might well need those three points to stay up. And then brighten away. That man, in my opinion, is not getting his haircut this season. So he's going to have to wait until next season to get his haircut. And the hope would be

16:10that they don't beat Brighton on the final day. So it starts next season with a fresh counter of zero. And they have to win the first five games in next season to enable him to get a haircut. It's a spectacular thing. It really is. The league table, Arsenal top 30 games played 67 points, 7 points clearer city. Now remember, city have a game in hand. And Arsenal have to go to the Etihad. So city win both of those games. It's a one point gap. So they're just looking for Arsenal to slip up once. That will be it. All they need is Arsenal to slip once. Then Manchester United, third on 51, level and points would be available with a better goal difference. Chelsea are up into fifth, 48 points, level and points Liverpool, but a

17:12significantly better goal difference. Then it's a four point gap to Brentford on 44, Everton 43. And then Bournemouth, Fullham and Sondland have 40 new Castle of 39 after last night. Brighton have 37. They should have 38. Crystal Palace have 35. Leeds 31. Tottenham 29. Nottingham Forest and West Ham 28. Burnley 19 and then Wolves on 16. Wolves in Arsenal have 30 games played. They take on each other tonight at 8 p.m. at the topman stadium. And I think it's fair to say both will be a bit disappointed with their seasons or at least parts of their season. So let's start with palace because they're less disappointed. Now, they're currently sitting, I think they're 14, did I say? 40. The four points ahead of leads, six ahead of spurs, seven ahead of the relegation zone backlers in West Ham and Forest. And only two points behind their rivals. Brighton,

20:20three by four points behind Newcastle and five points behind the clubs that you'd sort of bunch them with in the likes of, you know, Bournemouth and Fulham. But I think, given how they were through the first 15 games in the season, I do think they'll be a bit disappointed with where they are right now. Like it's worth remembering, they've only won two of their last 13 in the league with three draws and eight defeats. They began with an unbeaten run, drew it Chelsea away on the opening day, drew it home with Forest. At the time we thought that was a good result, drew away, sorry, Beatville away 3-0, drew it home to Sondaland, which at the time seemed a little bit disappointing, but as the season went on, we realized it was quite a good result. Beat West Ham away 2-1 and then beat Liverpool 2-1.

21:22Six games, three wins, three draws. At that point, they're sitting in third place in the Premier League. Then they have a little wobble. They lose 2-1 at Everton. They should have won that game. They draw 3-3 at home with Bournemouth. That's fine. Bournemouth is flying at the time. They lose away to Arsenal 1-0. That's fine. It happens. They're down to 10th in the league. Then they beat Brentford. They draw up Brighton. They beat Wolves away. They lose at home to United, which was disappointing. They beat Burnley and they beat Fulham. That's 15 games. They're fourth in the league after 15 games. Seven wins, only three defeats. Five draws obviously. Twenty-six points through 15 games. Then the wheels come off for them in mid-December.

22:27Hammered at home by City. Hammered away by Leeds. Beaten at home by Tottenham. Drawed home with Fulham. Lose away at Newcastle. Drawed home with Villa decent. Lose away at Sondaland. Lose at home to Chelsea. Draw away to Forest. That's a 9-game run without a win. And they drop from 5th, sorry, from 4th to 15. They take three points from 9 games. It has improved with the winner Brighton, but they did then lose at home to Burnley. That's not forget that. Having gone to Nalok, they lost at home 3-2 to Burnley. Then they beat Wolves. Then they lost away to Manchester United, though they were unfortunate in that game with the silly red card. It's a very mixed season. It's the season that through 24 games have basically been two different

23:34seasons for them. Now at 28 games, they're back to being the Crystal Palace of Old, where they would win one, lose one. Then they'll probably draw a few and they'll just kind of scrape their way along to 43 to 45 points. They need 10 points to get to 45. And at this stage, I think they'd be kind of happy to get there. I think there's a lot of just wishing for the season to end within the club because of the Glasgow situation. So let's not forget, they win the FA Cup last season. It's amazing achievement for them. Those two things. Raises expectations, but also means European football. And European football is a test of your squad debt. But because of the raised expectations,

24:35a lot of people thought they'd spend money and they'd strengthen that squad in the summer to the point where they'd be able to compete on all fronts. And then they didn't do it. They brought in Walter Benitez on a free, solid backup goalkeeper, don't mind it. Gornososa for three million, good left wing back, fits the system, good backup to Mitchell, don't mind it. That's the first and 11th of July. Between then and the 29th of August, they signed two academy players. A young goalkeeper called Harry Lee from Exeter. I doubt we'll ever play for them. And then Kai and Frazier Williams from AFC Donstable, a young left back for the academy. That's it. That's all they do.

25:37It's not until they sell Eze on the 23rd of August that anything of note really happened. Right on the eve of a big game, they tell Spurs, yeah, we'll do the deal, but we want to keep them for this game. Spurs are like, okay, that's fair enough. Arsenal jump in and suddenly they're bending over to let Arsenal take him away. Anyway, that's the 23rd of August and then they don't do anything until the 29th six full days of just sitting on their fucking hands. And they get Jeremy Pino who's a good player, but he's a winger who doesn't really fit this shape. And this is my issue last summer when they replaced Olise with Sarah who's a good player and has done well for them. He didn't really and never has really fit the shape all that well. And in losing Eze after losing Olise and not

26:43signing a single creator to replace either of them, I have to ask the question of why didn't you go and get playmakers? Because now you've put all that burden on Adam Warton, and Adam Warton's the first phase creator from deep. He can be your second phase creator, but he's not a final third creator. He can get you into your into your automations, he can get you into your patterns, he can progress play better than most, but you've got no playmakers now in the final third where you had two of the very best in the league with Olise and Eze, you've replaced them with wingers. So on deadline day, they go out, they get JD Canvo who I really like, the young French centre back, and they bring in Christantes Uche, the Nigerian attacker. He's on loan. Canvo was a 17 million signing, but again, I'm asking where

27:50the real improvement is. Canvo is young, Uche is talented, but is he going to replace Matata? Nobody could be dead to the cops, and that's fine, but I mean, you already kind of had Eddie and Katia. Then they go out in January, and obviously the gay he thinks is hung over the old seas. So let's be clear on that. Gay he was meant to leave on deadline day, Glasner threw his toys, forced a club to cancel the deal and he states, but they know he's leaving, and he knows he's leaving. And in January, he goes to city for 20 million. But they don't quote and replace. It's no centre back, brought in. They do buy another winger though in Brennan Johnson, who they overpay for 35 million. I like the player. He doesn't fit Glasner's style of play, but maybe you're looking beyond that. Then they think Matata is leaving.

28:59So they push for this Jurgen Strand Larsen deal, the Matata deal falls through and now they end up with both. So now they've got Larsen, Matata, Uche, they've got Eddie and Katia, and then they've got Johnson, Sarah and Pino. So they've got wingers and nines and no playmakers. Nobody to actually link things together. And I mean, if you know anything about Glasner's style of play, like he needs final third creators, that's he wants to get the ball forward quickly to them and let them do the damage from there. So squad hasn't been shaped well for him at all. Now he hasn't done himself any favors with some of the comments in the way he's acted. Obviously they are in other competitions, but I mean, the embarrassing defeat to Mackelsfield and the FA Cup as FA Cup holders to go out to Mackelsfields who are in the national league north. It's considered arguably the

30:07biggest FA Cup upside ever. In the EFL Cup, the Beat Mill Wall and penalties, they knocked out Liverpool with a good performance in Anfield. And then they lost on penalties as at the Emirates. In Europe, they beat Frederickstad by a goal to nil over two legs. The mediocre Norwegian team and they struggled against them. That should have been a bit of a red flag. They haven't been great in Europe. They did beat Dino McKee ever way, but they lost at home to Larnica, who they're now set to play again. They did beat A's at Alkmer at home, but lost the way to Strasbourg. Beat Schellburn in Tallah. And then drew it home with KUPS, which was on inspiring. They played Moster in the last round. Beat them three, one on aggregate, second leg was decent, first leg not so much. Larnica up next, they should advance, they should be in the last date, we see where they go. And like, ultimately, this is the competition that they can win.

31:09The Strasbourg will be their biggest competition in it. And I think, I think they're more than capable of beating Strasbourg, especially in a one-half game. But I mean, I think there'll be levels of disappointment within the fan base of how things have gone. Not nearly as big as the levels of disappointment in the Spurs fan base though. So last season, I will see like Crystal Palace, Tottenham on a trophy. They won the Europa League, but they did finish 17th in the Premier League. And that was embarrassing. Now, they were never likely to go down or anything like that. They finished 13 points ahead of Lester who finished 18. So they were never going down. They were never in any kind of trouble to go down. They very clearly made a decision to give up on the league at a certain point. And in the back half of the league campaign, the last 19 games,

32:13they won four, drew two and lost 13. From beginning in match week 17, so 21 games, they lost 15. 15 games at a 21. They lost 17 of the last 24. And that's just to give you some 17 last 25, I think it might be. That's just to give you all numbers of how bad they were last season. Like they were dreadful last season. There's no question, but it was it was notable that they just gave up at a certain point on the league. And in the last seven games, they drew, they lost six and drew one. They got to a league of semi-final, but went on and won the Europa League. And that was huge for them. The first trophy in a long time. They made the decision to sack and they bring in Thomas Frank. I thought it would work. I thought

33:14low ceiling on what Thomas Frank can give you, but he is a good manager. He'll get the culture right. He'll get the moving in the right direction. And he'll get them back up into that top four battle. And then in a couple of years, when he's kind of steady, the shape and they've become a team that finishes between third and seventh, then they go again. They bring in another manager and they try and advance beyond that. Ultimately, it has been a mess. You look at what they did in the summer. Danzo and Tal, they were deals that have been done before. Vuskovich was a deal that had been done before. They bring in cold attack guy. They bring in Mohammed Kudus after coming close to getting Gibbs White and Eze. They settle on Shavi Simmons and I'm not ultimately all that keen on him. In January, they brought in Mason Melia, who's a huge talent from Ireland. They brought in Connor Gallagher, which again is a deal I didn't like for them.

34:16But I did like, I did like the Susa deal, the left back coming into Brazil because they needed the back up left back. Losing son is tough. He'd been there so long. He's a club legend. And for me, it was tough to see him leave the Premier League because he's one of my favorite ever Premier League players. I liked the loan of Paulina. I didn't like the loan of Kulam, Kulam Rwani. Looking at the outgoing, there's nobody really that you'd be overly upset about them losing other than Sonny. And that includes, obviously, Brennan Johnson going in the January. It's basically him out Gallagher in £1 for £1. I look at a lot of these squads constantly and you start picking out, well, that's a weak point. That's a weak point. The thing with the spurs squad is, if you just look at the players, forget everything else, just look at the talent of the players. Vicario and Kinski, that's a really strong goalkeeping situation.

35:24Draguz and Danzo Romero, Van de Ven and Davies is a really strong centre back situation. Poro and Spence at right back, Des Nidorgi and Sosa at left back. No real needs now. Also, Vuskovich to come back in, Ashley Phillips to come back in, Takar to come back in. Spurs should be looking at their defence and thinking, well, that's that boxed off for five years. We don't need to spend any money. We'll sign if another Vuskovich comes up like a really high ceiling young defender, then we can jump on that and we can afford to take it slowly with them because all of our defenders, Draguz and his 24, Danzo was 27, Romero's 27, Van de Ven is 24. Davies is 32, but I mean, he's only there for experience, leadership and the quota. Poro's 26, Spence is 25 or Davies 23 and Sosa's 19, like they're all

36:34young defenders. They're all pre-prime or just into their prime in the case of Danzo and Romero. We don't need to worry about this. And then you look at the defensive record. I think you look at the amount of games that they've missed through injuries and it is mind blown, but you move into midfield and you start to see the same thing. You've got, now it's not the age profile is different in midfield, but the talent is the talent. Defensive midfielders, Joe Pelliniye, Eves Basuma and Rodrigo Bentonco. That's three good players, now they are 30, 29 and 28 respectively. Central midfielders, Conor Gallagher, 26, Pat Matarsar, 23, Lucas Bergval, 20 and Archie Gray, 19. That's an outrageously strong collective of midfielders.

37:40Then you look at number 10s, James Madison, Dejan Kulisewski and Javi Simmons. Madison's 29, Kulisewski's 25, Simmons's 22. Strength, depth, quality, but again, Madison's missed a full season with an ACL. Kulisewski hasn't kicked the ball this year, injuries, injuries, fucking injuries. You start looking at the wide positions, Kudus, Tal, Older Bear, obviously Kulisewski as well, like strength, quality, pace, talent, production, injuries, injuries, injuries. The age profile is great. Kudus is 25, Tal is 20, Older Bear's 21 and Kulisewski's 25. You couldn't ask for more. You really couldn't ask for more,

38:50from a squad building point of view, to have that level of talent. They just can't keep these boys fit. And then strikers, there's a, you know, they have Column Wani on on loan. Selanki and Richarlison, that's an area that I think they do need to strengthen, like they're all 27, 28. None of them are really good enough to be starting for a club with ambition. Selanki could be a good squad player, but they're not good enough to be starting. If you're looking at that spurs squad now, and if you were to walk in tomorrow as the new manager, I would say you probably look to move the carry on. You turn 30 this year, and I do think he's declined a bit in the last 12 months, and there is interest from Italian clubs, and there's rumours he wants to go back to it. So you look to move him on and bring in a new start in goalkeeper. Okay, so that's one starter that you need, but you've got a good backup, and Brandon Austin appears

39:56to be a solid enough third choice. So one goalkeeper need, you don't need to touch right back, poro and spence, grace, don't need to touch left back, a doggy, and so so great. What you do need to do is keep them fit. Sent her back. I love Romero. I think Romero wants to leave. I think it's become clear by his performances and his actions that he either wants to leave her, or he needs a different type of manager who can grab him by the scruff of the neck and keep him in line, but I would look to sell him personally. I'd look to cash in. I think that's the right move. I've got Vandeven as one of my Starkers. I'm bringing Vuskivic back straight in as a Starker personally, and then Dragons and Danzo and Davies can beat the backups, and Ashley Phillips, and Takai, and I don't need to do anything else. I don't need to buy your center back.

40:57I can sell Romero, and I think I can still be really, really strong at center back. In midfield, I wouldn't keep Palinia. I'd let that loan lapse. I'd probably be looking to maybe move on one or two, but let's say you don't. I think you let Palinia go. You let Basuma go. I think you look to buy a starting defensive midfielder, or you sit actually gray down and you tell him, this is your new position. This is what we're going to develop you into, and I think he thrives in that position. I think you build a midfielder around Gray and Bergval, because I think that the two most talented players you've got, and you've got Sire, and you've got others that you can use, they're not overloaded, they're not playing every game. They don't even have to play a ton of games together. You can play one plus or more experience, but you can play Gray and Gallagher. You can play

41:58Bergval and Sire. You can play Benton, Corrin, either of them, you know, so on, so forth. I actually wouldn't touch the midfield in the central midfield area, the double pivot. I'd leave it as it is, unless I could convince Adam Warton to make the move, and I don't think he could. I think you're good with your tens, especially if you get Kulosewski back, you go Simmons on the right. Now, I do think you're going to need to buy Striker and left-winger. The injury to Older Bear is a ton of ACLs. He's out for a long time, and he's a young player, and he needs to develop anyway. Look to move on, Richarlison. Let the Colomewani loan laps. Keep Salanki as a backup. Keep tell as a versatile forward, you can play a bunch of positions. I'm still shocked that he didn't get more real opportunities on the Thomas Frank. You've got other players that are loaned as well,

There might be another midfielder brought in, we'll have a look, goalkeeper anyway, we need to sort this first. Get nowhere if you're leaking goals. I really like Anatoly Truban from Benfika and I think he's the goalkeeper I'd look to bring in. Now, I don't think he'll be cheap, I think you're probably looking about 40 million for him. He's 24 years of age, he's an outstanding shot stopper. He needs to get a little bit stronger, but again he's 24 so I'm okay taking that risk. He's the goalkeeper I'm going to go and get.

57:58Now, striker, so if I've got Kulisewski, Simmons and Kudus behind, I'm looking for a proper number nine. I'm looking for someone that can play back to goal, we'll make runs into the channel, we'll get on the end of things, can finish well and needs to have a physical edge to them. I think that's really important. They've got to have physicality to their game because I don't think we could play with a lightweight number nine. I think it has to be a not a target man as such because I don't like those. Igor Thiago from Brentford is really interesting. The question would be how much would they want for him? He has the physical profile that we're looking for.

59:06There's part of me that's tempted to say you take a gamble on John Durand, but I think you're already taking some gambles elsewhere, so think you have to be a bit more certain about who you're going for here. I think it has to be someone that you can rely on and that's a tough thing to find. Like it is a tough thing to find. Could you look at Duzan Vlajavic? He's been linked. He's certainly a goal scorer. He's not the quickest player in the world, but he's not slow either. He's good in the air, and he's a really good finisher. Now, Duzan Vlajavic is out of contract this summer, and that's why he might be really, really appealing. He's already turned 26 this year, so you're getting him at 26. He just knows how to score. He's not a good season this year. He's been good in the

1:00:09Champions League. He's under good season domestically, but he played 682 minutes because they just won't play him because he's got big bonuses written into his deal. Duzan Vlajavic just might make sense. I do also like Pavlides at Benfica, but I don't want to just keep going back to Benfica. Ritegi, I don't think we'll leave the Middle East, but he's very, very good, but no, I don't think he's going to be an option. Samu, I think, got a serious injury, didn't he? Almost certain. Yeah, Christian ligaments. Yeah, so that'll be a very spurs thing to do. I mean, they should have gone for Jay Pedro in summer. I don't think they could get awesome, and I just don't think that's within the realms of reality for them. And frankly, there's not a fantastic group of strikers out there this summer.

1:01:15Like last summer, there was a whole bunch of them. And you saw a whole raft of clubs go and get their number nine of the future with Ekateke and Cesco and all these type of players, but this summer, it's not really there. I mean, could you go for a Liam Delap and hope to develop him into that player? I think Chelsea will be willing to sell. Could you go for Panicili, who's had a great season, so far with Strasbourg since coming in? Maybe, maybe they'd sell him. I think he's got all the tools. So you could look at him. Outside of that, I mean, Evan Ferguson would be a big gamble. Conrad Harder, I really like, but he hasn't really clicked yet for Red Bull.

1:02:16Like, it's tough to find these strikers. It really is. Like I said, I'd be tempted to gamble on, on Durand, because the upside I just think is ferocious with him, but it's a big, big gamble. And I don't know that Spurs can afford a gamble like that. It's a kind of feel like they're a little bit between a rock and a hard place on this. Like, Vlavich makes a lot of sense. Stylistically, we know he can score goals. He's going to be on a fray. The wages will be high, but he fits the bill. So I really like Seru Garasi, but he's 29.

1:03:19He's 29. I just think that's going to price him out. It'll be 30 before the summer. I think that's going to price him out of the moves. Igor Thiago, it's, yeah, talented, but one season, like, really impressed by him this season, but it's one season. You know, can you rely on him to do that again? And I'm just not seeing the young strikers out there that were there last summer, who are proven like, I really like Rodrigo Maniz at the forum. I think he could step up, but he's also injury prone. Liam Delap, like I said, it's just, it's a gamble because we saw what he did at Ipswich. It was impressive, but this season he has not looked good.

1:04:24Now, the work ethic is there, the size, the strength. He's got pace. So you've got all of that. I'm just not sure. I'm just not sure you could rely on him to get you the goals you're going to need. So I think Vlavitch is your best bet. Now, I say on a free, there's going to be a large signing bonus that's going to come out of that. It's probably going to be 25 million. So you deduct that from our budget. Now we've spent 65 million. I wanted a backup right-winger for produce. Someone that, you know, we can develop and when Kudus is out, they can step up and play. So where do you go with that? It's a couple I like, but I think I might go for his fellow Ghanaian,

1:05:27Abdul Fatau of Lester, bring him in, big brother, little brother, I think that's ideal. They're in a bad situation. I think 20 million might get him. So we'll spend that. That's 85 million. That leaves us 65. So I did say we might want to look at midfielders, or we might look at centerbacks. So if we take a look at defensive midfield players, because that's, you've got central midfielders. If you want someone to be that defensive midfielder, is there one out there? Like there's loads of good junglers, but is there one out there that's ready to come in and lead now? Because you're doing it, it's to get another leader in the team. And that's where I'm looking. Those two positions, centerback and defensive midfield. Can I get a leader into the team? Because I've sold Romero.

1:06:27I think I'd have better look buying a centerback than buying a midfielder and finding the leader I want. Now, if you haven't been paying huge attention, there's been a bit of a falling out at Parasanjaman this season. And that falling out includes Ilya Zaberni, who went there for 60 million, I think, started the season really well. I had a couple of hiccups, including a red car, but he started the season well. And then he had a bit of a falling out with somebody at the club and allegedly one of the other players. And there's been rumors that he might be available this summer. Now, Ilya Zaberni is a leader. Ilya Zaberni is a natural leader at

1:07:27centerback. And I think he's the one I go and get. I think you go and get Zaberni to partner Van event. We'll sell one of the others if need be. Dragons and maybe Danza, whichever one brings the most money, I think you go and you buy Ilya Zaberni and you bring him into the club. And because we've already brought in Truban, now we've got international teammates there that should lead to a good relationship between the two at the back in key positions, which is very, very important. So Zaberni, Fatua, Vlajavic and Truban. And we might even have a little bit of money left over because we'll sell another centerback and maybe we can go and buy another young player to come

1:08:30in and develop somewhere. Maybe it right back, maybe somewhere else. Maybe we're going to find a young striker to bring in and develop. So yeah, a bit of fun. Spurs is not, it's not the tragic broken mess that some have painted it to be. It's just not. There's definitely a lot more there than what people make it out to be in terms of promise for the future. There's a lot more there. It just, it needs look because the injuries are share bad luck.
