Toby the K-9 Gets Bulletproof Vest

Toby, a two-year-old Dutch Shepherd on the SWAT team, will get a bulletproof and staff protective vest. This comes from a generous donation by a nonprofit group dedicated to helping police dogs. The organization behind the GIF is vested interest in canines, which funds these vests nationwide to keep working dogs safe on the job. Toby's vests will provide top-level protection during high-risk operations. People in law enforcement often highlight how vital gear like this is for canine teams. These dogs face the same dangers as their human partners, and better protection means they can serve longer and safer. The vests was sponsored by Manitoo Clived Wellings in Manitoo Springs, Colorado. Officials expected to arrive in about 10 weeks, giving Toby even more security on duty.
