Titans Strengthen Passing Attack with Ridley's Return

0:00On March 31st, the Titans just reworked Calvin Ridley's contract to keep him locked in, all to build a stronger squad around quarterback Cam Ward. It's a smart off-season move, especially with new head coach Robert Sale calling Ridley a game-changer who can score from anywhere on the field. Ridley had a rough 2025 season, limited to just seven games after a broken fibula and high ankle sprain, where he hauled in 17, catches for 303 yards. But the year before that, he balled out with 64 receptions, 1,017 yards, and 4 touchdowns over all 17 games. Team brass loves how Ridley mentored Ward right after the draft and stepped up as a leader for the young receivers. General manager Mike Borganzi says he's perfect for that receiver room, bringing veterans savvy to help everyone level up. Now the group's looking solid with Ridley back, free agent pick of Wandel Robinson, second-year studs, Ellic Iomanor, and Chimerry Dyke, plus resigned. Bryce Oliver and a few more. They're eyeing free agency and the draft to add even more depth.
