Titans Sign Volson, Schlottmann for O-Line Revamp

0:00On March 10th, the Tennessee Titans face big choices on their offensive line this off-season. They need new starters at Ry Guard, and center after Kevin Zyler hit free agency, and Lloyd Kuschenberg got released. General manager Mike Borganzi started addressing that by signing former New York Giants Center Austin Schlotman earlier this week. The team also agreed to a one-year deal with free agent Guard Cordell Voulsen. It's worth $2.5 million guaranteed up to 4,215,000 max. Voulsen sat out the entire 2025 season after shoulder surgery, so he's got plenty to prove heading into training camp. Voulsen brings solid experience from his time with the Cincinnati Bengals. The 2022 fourth-round pick played in 50 games with 48 starts, mostly as a starter early on. He never quite lived up to the hype there, but he's versatile enough to back up multiple spots. Meanwhile, the Titans won't bring back Blake Hance, who was a reliable backup last year. Voulsen joins sophomore Jackson Slater and Schlotman as depth pieces inside, giving the lines some competition and flexibility.
