Titans Restructure Ridley's Contract, Gain Cap Space

The Tennessee Titans scored a big win this week, with White receiver Calvin Ridley restructuring

his contract.

He agreed to an $8,750,000 pay cut to stick around for another season.

That move guarantees $12,500,000 of his $13,000,000 salary in 2026 while freeing up $11,250,000

in cap space right now.

This timing cannot be better for the Titans.

They still need to shore up the interior of their offensive line, where big gaps remain.

Those savings give them flexibility to make key roster moves before training camp.

Fans and analysts see this as smart business all around.

Ridley stays with a familiar team pushing for playoffs, and the front office gains breathing

room amid tight cap limits across the league.

After the restructure hits the books fully, Tennessee sits with roughly $67,590,000 in

total cap space.

Effective cap space comes in around $57,840,000.

A few more contracts still need league approval, like those for players such as Jacob Martin

and Kyle and Granson, which will trim those numbers a bit.
