Titans Consider Cutting Cornerback Sneed

The Tennessee Titans kicked off their offseason last week by trading defensive tackle to Vandrey Sweat and releasing center Lloyd Kushenberry along with safety Xavier Woods. In the Sweat deal, they picked up defensive in Germain Johnson. Now, more roster changes look likely before NFL Free Agency starts, with cornerback Lageria Sneed right in the spotlight as a possible cut candidate. Sneed came over in a big trade before the 2024 season, but things haven't panned out. He's only played 12 games over two years with the Titans and sat out the entire second half of the 2025 season due to injuries. Pro football focus recently flagged Sneed as a prime cut option, letting him go would save the team $11,400,000 in cap space, despite an $8,000,000. Dead money hit. His performance dipped low last year, earning just a 50.4 grade over seven games.
