Titans' Carmona on Growth: From Stomp to Captain

0:00On April 25th, the Tennessee Titans just grabbed offensive lineman Fernando Carmona in the fifth round, pick 142 of the 20, 26 NFL draft. Right after getting drafted, he opened up about an embarrassing moment from his college career that he's grown past. It happened during the 2024 Liberty Bowl in Memphis when Carmona played for Arkansas and got caught on video stomping in opponents, ankle after a play. His Arkansas teammates and coaches stood by him, making him team-capped in the next year in 2025, where he started all 12 games at. Left guard. Before that, he had three years starting at left tackle between San Jose State and Arkansas, then moved inside at his coach's advice. Carmona worked hard with mental coaches last offseason to keep his emotions and check, and now he's ready to bring that maturity to the Titans line.
