Settle started 12 games for Houston's top ranked defense this year, notching 15 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and three passes. Defense, his early season play helped carry the team when the offense struggled. Over his career, he's appeared in 130 games, with 30 tackles for loss, 27 quarterback hits, and 15 sacks. The Texans bolstered their defensive line by signing Nekwan Jones and Sheldon Rankins, keeping the unit mostly intact.
