The legal battle over live nation and ticket master is back on. After more than 30 states refused to sign the settlement that they had come to. The United States Department of Justice says the companies have too much control over concerts. It could be operating like a monopoly and the deal that they had come to wasn't good enough. So they're like back to the drawing board and the trial is now continuing. Amazon has rolled out a new version of Alexa. It's like a sassy mode. And one of the settings is literally, it's literally sassy mode. It still answers your questions, but it might roast you a little while doing it. It might even swear at you people online saying they're basically getting into arguments with their smart speaker now.
04Some people think it's hilarious. Like if you choose sassy mode, it's what you should expect, right? And then other people are like, what's happening? Yeah, why would you want that? People hire us to do commercials for them. And then they don't like our personnel. Why do you ask this to do commercials then? Some people are like, there's already enough sass in the world. Just tell me the weather. It's like, will you choose the mode? I think that's fine. I feel like I would have my little bestie. I know. I think it's pretty funny. You guys ever feel like when you're super focused, even the smallest thing can ruin that focus. I definitely feel like this. Because of how your brain is wired. You actually say your brain actually opens a little distraction window about seven to ten times every second. Really? That's a lot for a second. That is why even when you feel focused, your brain is constantly scanning for new information or possible threats or anything to steal its attention and the survival instinct.
04It's helped humans like stay alert. Like it's literally your brain is wired to do this to help you survive in the wild. Of course, I mean, I mean, guess, I guess the world is pretty wild. Yeah, a lot of people got eaten by say for two tigers back then too. But today, it also makes things like your phone notifications way harder to ignore it. But it's like, it's your instinct. It's where your brain was wired. So if you're a little distracted, you'd be like, sorry, I succumbed to the distraction window. They're happening all the time. That's three things you need to know. What are you watching, Colin TV? This morning, I am pretty obsessed with the, it's on Netflix. It's like the age is just a number, the dating show. Oh my goodness. Is there a guy that's like 60? Yes. He's dating like a 22 year old. She's 27. Yeah, it's like 33 year difference. Actually, I literally just got to the part where she just found out how old she was. And it's funny because this girl, she was dating two different guys. She's like, I know they're both those of me. She's like, we're going into this.
04My dad said he would not support me marrying someone more than 10 years old. She's like 33 years old. Do they look a lot older? I mean, he looks like he could be older. But she thought he was maybe like late 40s, maybe early 50s and he's 60. And so she's like, wow. But she's like, but at the same time, I just some falling love with him. Oh my goodness. So I saw an Instagram and add for it, or it was it's a post. And it was this woman. And she's like, I'm 55. And they go, oh my god, you're 55. She was, yeah, how old are you going to go, well, are you ready for this? I'm, and then it was like, watch the show on Netflix. Come on. He's 28. Oh, she's 55. I think he's 25. I know he is 27. And it's funny because she has a son who's 29. Oh, she has a son who's a little older than him. Do these shows show them happily together? So far, yeah, I mean, I'm not really like that deep into it. At this point, I'm still where they're at the dating stage. And they take them to the promise room. And when you go, you get a promise ring.
04And that's, that's them saying they want to explore the relationship more. And then the next stage for the couples that have gone to the promise room and agreed that they want to go to the next step, which one of them did not. One of them was denied in the promise room, which was a little tragic. But the next step is then they'll go live with each other in the real world and have to introduce them to the families. Oh, my god. I've seen a little bit of that suffer because my wife watches it's like it's her job. Yeah. And like the cracks start to show pretty quick in the age. Well, I'm thinking like it's like it's going to be pretty tough when mom brings home a guy that's like her younger than her. No, literally she could be like his mom. Like, what would you? I don't know. What's the show called? I think it's called, isn't it? It's like age is just a number or something like that. It's in the top 10 on Netflix right now. Well, it's on Netflix. On Hulu, I'm watching age of attraction. Yeah, I'm watching Paradise, which is fantastic. Yeah, it's a really good show. I'm watching the JFK, are you caught up in JFK Junior? Yes.
04That is such a great show. And it's going to be so tragic. There's one episode left and it's just it's just tragic ending. And then there's like, did you see the conspiracy theory behind it? No. So in the very first episode. So for years, they've been saying that John F. Kennedy faked his death so he could escape all this chaos and all kinds of things. And they've showed him at rallies. Also because she wanted a private life. Right. So in the very first episode, they show them getting on plane a private pilot that he's going to pilot it. And there's a guy. He shakes hands with a pilot. And the pilot and you look at the picture, they say is JF Kennedy now. And it looks just like what you would think he was aged. It's nuts. Oh, that's a cool experience. It's really cool because the guy looks like a gray hair JFK junior. Like, I'm going to send you. If someday go to your DMs Kyle. Hi. Hi. Years of DMs. She is. I see something exciting. I said Kyle and my sister. And my sister responds at least once a day. Kyle never.
04It's like once every three days. So then there's another show I was talking about on Amazon Prime. And it is called Scar Petta or Scar Petta. And that's with Nicole Kidman. That's really good. Ted, Ted the TV series finished that rich. I'm finished it. I'm about four episodes in by love every second of that show. The TV series is so funny. Season two is fantastic. I mean, I've got. It's not a. It doesn't matter. I think I'm ruining anything. But it ends where. We're the Ted or the character. The Mark Wahlberg character decides to get in shape. Oh, yeah. To get into fitness. Do you know what I mean? Because Mark Wahlberg, if you watch Ted, is in great shape. Right. Right. So it's. And then I read that they're going to stop doing the TV show because it's too expensive. It costs five to eight million dollars per episode. Just because of all the. All the CGI. But Mark Wahlberg has agreed to do a season three of Ted or a movie. A third movie with Mark Wahlberg. Which we're going to be. It's going to be a portal. So both actors are going to be in it. It's going to be one of those dimension movies. It's so silly. And there's a. There's a Ted cartoon coming and a stewie cartoon coming.
04I know. I'm very excited about that. I like that. Tarradise, by the way, is one of the better shows I've seen in a while. It's like, this is us, the apocalypse. It's. I'm starting to feel like. Like lost because I didn't watch the first season. Maybe. They're bringing back a lot of the characters and stuff. Oh, yeah. I don't understand what's happening. There's a lot of text messages saying, how could you tell Kyle that you could just watch you should watch season one. Well, the first couple of episodes you really didn't need to. But once it gets a little further in, you probably should. Yeah. So those are some of the shows we're watching right now. Here's the truth. It showed a Jewish kid being targeted at school and another student who chose not to ignore it. As someone who was Jewish, that moment felt very real to me. Not dramatic, just familiar. And what struck me was how clearly it showed that hate doesn't always announce itself. But the impact is still huge. If you saw the blue square spot during the big game, it's worth thinking about.
07And if you want to show support, sharing the blue square is one small way to do that.
