Three Hurt by Suspected Lightning Strikes in Perth

A man in his 70s and two teenage girls are all in stable condition after separate incidents. The first call came just after 8.30 a.m. in the North Perth suburb of Hamersley. Paramedics rushed the elderly man to Fiona Stanley Hospital. About an hour and a half later, around 10.10 a.m. Crews responded to a school in Mount Helena on Perth's east side. That's where the two teenage girls were treated. Both girls have non-life threatening injuries and one was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital for further checks. The man is serious but not in danger.
