The Buckeyes top score, senior guard Bruce Thornton, is getting his own bobblehead giveaway ahead of their game against Indiana. The first 2,000 fans through the doors at the Shadonstein Center will snag one. Thornton leads the team with an average of 19.9 points per game this season. He's just 12 points shy of breaking the all-time Ohio State scoring record, said by Dennis Hobson. Playing off an 18-point effort in their big 94-62 win over Penn State, he's playing his final regular season home game. Fans are buzzing about the promotion, which honors Thornton's big impact on the court. Of the bobbleheads, 1,500 show him in the classic Scarlett home jersey, while 500 feature the throwback, Gray Alternate Uniform. It's a fun way to celebrate his senior milestone. The game tips off at 5.30 pm on March 7th. It start as low as $22, though lower bullseeds run from $150 to $500.
