This satellite can see inside forests

The European Space Agency's Biomass satellite is the spacecraft capable of seeing inside forests. Launched on April 29, 2025, the 1.5-tonne probe uses an unprecedented P-band synthetic aperture radar system to pierce through thick leaf canopies and clouds.
