From there, the guys have fun revisiting Crocodile Dundee in 4K (and what’s different in the newer cut), the immersive Apple TV+ firefighter drama The Lost Bus (Greengrass + McConaughey + excellent Atmos), and a shockingly demo‑worthy Blu‑ray in A Monster Calls with reference‑grade sound design. They also sample season 3 of The Diplomat and its sneaky overhead helo pan, then dive into Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein on Netflix—gorgeous presentation with divisive storytelling—before closing with Predator: Badlands, where expectations, genre shifts, and theater tech (hello laser projection and captions) collide, and why a 4K rewatch at home could change the game.
