During Diabetes Awareness Month, we’re surrounded by daunting statistics — millions living with diabetes, rising rates among young people, and the enormous cost to individuals and public health. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the numbers. But here at U-M, we’re committed to shifting the focus from the problem to the progress.
