About this episode
Giuffre’s deposition also included accusations that she was trafficked to powerful men at Maxwell’s direction. She named Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, Jean-Luc Brunel, Bill Richardson, George Mitchell, and Glenn Dubin among the men she was forced to have sex with — often in Epstein’s residences or on his private jet, the “Lolita Express.” Giuffre detailed incidents of sexual abuse at Epstein’s private island (Little St. James), in Maxwell’s London townhouse, and at Epstein’s New York and Palm Beach homes. She described Maxwell’s role as operational: coordinating travel, preparing the girls, dictating what to wear (often schoolgirl outfits), and ensuring silence through emotional manipulation and threats. Giuffre testified that Maxwell told her to be “grateful” and warned her that speaking out would have consequences — including death. Throughout the deposition, Giuffre emphasized that she was a minor being trafficked across state and international lines, and that Maxwell was not only aware but orchestrating every detail. Her statements were corroborated years later by other victims and led to Maxwell’s 2021 conviction on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.

What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. This episode we're going to pick right back up where we left off with the Virginia Roberts deposition. So let's just dive right back in and not waste any time. Manager. Alright, the next job, gemicatoring and wedding receptions did it. Is that job one that you actually worked? Virginia? I did actually work there. I don't know the dates, but I was a server, waitress and bartender, manager. March of 2003 to April 2004, is that about when you worked there? Virginia, it could be very close to it. I'm not too sure. Manager, you're not too sure? Virginia answers. No, I'm not sure. Manager, did you have children? Had you already had children at the time that you worked there? Virginia? No, I do not believe that I did. I became a stay-at-home mom when I had my first child. And what year was that?
Virginia response 2006. Manager, okay. So you believe you worked at gemicatoring and wedding receptions before 2006? Virginia, I believe so. Manager. And other than that, you can't recall what dates that you worked there? Virginia? I'm sorry, I couldn't help. No. Manager, alright. And then, what were your actual, is that your actual job that you had there? Virginia, the description of it, manager, the title, server, waitress, bartender, Virginia, yes. Manager, alright, is the description accurate. Virginia, 2-a-t. Manager, what's that? Virginia, 2-a-t. Manager, okay. The next job you list is, manway logistics, logistics receptionist. Is that a job that you actually held? Virginia, it is a job that I held. Manager, and when did you hold it? Virginia, again, I'm very bad at dates. I'm not too sure.
Manager, alright, approximately when did you have it? Virginia, I don't want to speculate and give you the wrong answer, so I'm not too sure. Manager, did you have children at the time you worked there? Virginia, no. Manager, so before 2006, Virginia, yes. Manager, and after you moved to Australia, which was what year? Virginia, I moved to Australia at the end of 2002, I believe. Manager, alright, do you recall going to work shortly after you got to Australia? Virginia, yes. Manager, how? Virginia interrupts. I had to obtain my ability to work there, so I think that took a couple months, you can get a temporary visa that allows you to work while you're waiting for your permanent resident status, and that's what we did. Manager, alright, were you able to apply for that temporary job permission before you actually got married in Australia? Virginia, I got married in, well, we were married in Thailand, really, but we made it official
in January of 2003, and within a couple of weeks, I was granted the permission to work in Australia legally. Manager, okay, so to the best of your recollection, you got permission to work in Australia, sometime in the spring of 2003, to this Brad Edwards objects to form, and then Virginia answers. That's actually summer over there. Manager, fair enough, the first quarter of the year, calendar year, Virginia, yes, manager, 2003, Virginia, if we're going to be politically correct, yes. That's what you recall, manager asks, Virginia indicating, I'm sorry, yes, manager, and is your description of manway logistics, correct, Virginia, yes, manager, alright, and how long did you work there, Virginia, I think it was less than a year that I worked there. I would approximate about six, seven months, manager, can you name one coworker you had or boss or anybody else that knew that you worked there, Virginia, I know her name started
with an M, but I can't remember, I remember what she looks like, I just don't remember her name. Manager, okay, and how much did you make there, Virginia, I don't remember the exact amount, approximately about $20 an hour, I think, manager, and how many hours per week were you working for that six months to a year, Virginia, I believe it was full time, manager, and is full time the same in Australia, Virginia, yes, it's a 40 hour week, manager, okay, Virginia, well, 38 because you get two hours for lunch, so yes, manager, alright, have you been in touch with anyone from that employment in a while, Virginia answer is no, manager, alright, the next job listed there is what, Virginia answers, Cal Malflamenko, bar and restaurant, manager, is that someplace you actually worked, Virginia, no, it's not, manager, is that a place that actually exists, Virginia, I don't really know, manager, alright, Virginia,
I mean, I think I looked on the internet and found something similar to what the description I was needing to fill, and that was it, manager, okay, so when you were creating this document in 2013, 2014, right, that's when you had the Titusville address, Virginia, yes, manager, alright, you went on the internet and you searched for a place that would be like the job you were looking for, Virginia responds, correct, manager, and you found the name of an actual place, Cal Malflamenko, bar and restaurant, did I get that right, Virginia, I'm not 100% on that, but I think so, manager, okay, and you did that in order to impress the employer, you were applying for here in the email, correct, Virginia, correct, manager, alright, and you did that in order to get money from a job that you hoped to get from this employer in the email, correct, Virginia, I was hoping to get an employment and not having much experience, I put that in there, that I had the experience, manager, okay, and you said that you had been
advised to plump up your resume by a job agency, is that right, Virginia, yes, manager, what was the name of that job agency, Virginia, before I worked at ETS Australia, I was actually a job seeker there, and the job seeker, I don't know if you're familiar with the term, somebody who is looking for work, and you go to a job agency, and you go look on the computer, and you actually have somebody who helps you find employment, and they are the ones who recommend that you show that you've continuously worked throughout your years, they ended up really liking me, so that's how I got the job there, manager, okay, was it a particular person there that gave you the advice to plump up your resume, Virginia, it would have been one of the counselors, manager, which one, Virginia, I don't know, manager, okay, do you remember the names of any of the counselors, Virginia, I only remember the name of one of the girls I work with, but I don't remember, I don't remember anyone else's name,
manager, when did you first become a job seeker at ETS Australia, Virginia, well if I finished there in 2006, and I worked there for approximately a year, it would have had to have been 2005, late 2004, 2005, I'm not too sure, manager, okay, so you were a job seeker there first, and then you got the employment there, right, Virginia, yes, manager, okay, so the advice to plump up your resume was while you were seeking a job, or while you were employed there, Virginia, while I was seeking a job, manager, all right, and you were assigned to counselor, Virginia, yes, manager, one or more than one, Virginia, it changes on a daily basis, there is somebody who comes into the office, and they sit with you and they help you with your resume, and then they help you go on the computer and look for open vacancies, manager, so someone in approximately 2005 gave you the advice to plump up your resume, that's what you're saying, Virginia, to make it look like I've continuously worked, yes,
yo, manager is acting like this is something that's crazy, it's not, I can't tell you how many employees I've had through the years, who plumped up their resume, give me a break already, what she's trying to do is destroy Virginia's credibility, and as we all know now, it didn't work out so well for them, did it, manager, okay, so back to the cow mal flamenco bar and grill, which is a place you found on the internet, but did not actually work, is that the dates for your employment there, December 2001, to February 2003, not true, correct, Virginia, obviously yes, at the time, I was, during 2001, I was with Jeffrey Engolane being trafficked, manager, uh-huh, so you were not working at the cow mal flamenco bar, Virginia, obviously not, yes, manager, and you said you got back to Australia in late 02 and did not work there between late 02
and February of 03, correct, Virginia, I've never worked at cow mal flamenco bar and grill period, manager, all right, and the job description that you crafted there is also fictional, correct, Virginia, yes, manager, all right, and Mar-a-Lago Resort and Spa, you put down as a place you had worked, correct, Virginia, correct, manager, and you typed in August 2000 to September 2001, correct, Virginia, correct, manager, and you created your job description there, correct, Virginia, correct, manager, all right, and then turning to the last page, you have your education, correct, Virginia, can I just make a statement to say that again with the Mar-a-Lago Resort and Spa, I did have to add dates to make it look as though I had continuously worked, so those again are incorrect dates, manager, but it is a date that you typed into a resume in 2013 or 2014 and to this
Virginia interrupts the statement, that is the date that then manager interrupts back, if you could just let me finish with my question, Virginia responds, sure, manager, that is the date that you typed into your resume in 2013 or 2014, correct, Virginia, that is the date that I did type in, but those are incorrect dates, manager, all right, Virginia, and as well as the position, organizing, making, and canceling appointments for massage therapists, manager, all right, Virginia, I mean, I was there locker room attendant, I just wanted it to sound like I had more receptionist experience than I did, you wanted it to look like you had more experience than you had had, correct, that's what you just said, Virginia, I mean, given that my past had not enabled me to be able to look for work or I wasn't able to put down that I actually had had to do in my past, so I made it look as though I was able to be employed,
manager, you did not have the past that you thought the employer was looking for, right, Virginia, I couldn't put down on there that I was sex trafficked for a couple years and did not have the experience to be able to apply for jobs and provide for my family, so this is something that I said, again, I am not proud of it, but I felt it was necessary to be able to gain employment, manager, all right, so you were applying for a job at a restaurant, right, Virginia at this, according to the front email, yes, manager, all right, and you did not put down Taco Bell on the resume, correct, Virginia, no, the only jobs on here are the ones that we have mentioned, manager, right, and so why did you choose August of 2000 as your start date for Mar-a-Lago, Virginia, it just looks as though I've given them a longstanding history of employment, manager, you chose a month, why did you choose that month, Virginia, I chose months and dates
for every single position on that resume, there is no specific reason why I chose that month, it was just purely to show that I was continuously employed, manager, on the last page it has some education, which part of that is untrue, Brad Edwards objects to this in form, Virginia, I have received my business administration certificate, three from E.T. Australia, I've never held responsible service of alcohol and gambling, manager, do you understand to be a licensing of some sort or a class, or what do you understand that Virginia then interrupts, in Australia, you have to have something called an RSA and RCG to be able to work as a waitress or bartender or anything, and I didn't know if it was the same out here in America, so I put down that I had, I had taken a CPR and first date, I don't remember when, but it's not current, and I did go to Royal Palm Beach High School and I didn't put down a degree there
or anything, manager, so it's fair to say that you've never worked as a waitress in Australia, is that what you just said, Virginia, I did work as a waitress at Gemicatoring, manager, oh, okay, Virginia, I don't believe I need my RSA to work there, I'm not too sure, manager, all right, and if I could just ask you one other question about Gemicatoring, in the last line of the job description it says this job was a second job, I worked in the evenings and weekends for saving extra cash, what was it that was a second job to you, Virginia, in my time period is right, it would be my second job to Manway Logistics because they were both Gemicatoring and Manway Logistics were both in Sydney, whereas E.T. Australia was on the central coast, all right, E.T. Australia on the central coast, Virginia, correct, manager and Gemma Manway is in Sydney, Virginia's in Sydney, yeah, manager, all right, got it, do you know if those organizations
still exist, Virginia, Manway, I would definitely say it's a very large logistic company, I would say it still does exist, Gemicatoring, I'm not too sure if that exists anymore, all right folks, we're going to wrap up this part right here and in the next episode when we're talking about this topic, we're going to pick up where we left off, all of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
