About this episode
Giuffre’s deposition also included accusations that she was trafficked to powerful men at Maxwell’s direction. She named Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitz, Jean-Luc Brunel, Bill Richardson, George Mitchell, and Glenn Dubin among the men she was forced to have sex with — often in Epstein’s residences or on his private jet, the “Lolita Express.” Giuffre detailed incidents of sexual abuse at Epstein’s private island (Little St. James), in Maxwell’s London townhouse, and at Epstein’s New York and Palm Beach homes. She described Maxwell’s role as operational: coordinating travel, preparing the girls, dictating what to wear (often schoolgirl outfits), and ensuring silence through emotional manipulation and threats. Giuffre testified that Maxwell told her to be “grateful” and warned her that speaking out would have consequences — including death. Throughout the deposition, Giuffre emphasized that she was a minor being trafficked across state and international lines, and that Maxwell was not only aware but orchestrating every detail. Her statements were corroborated years later by other victims and led to Maxwell’s 2021 conviction on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.

What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. In this episode we're going to pick up where we left off with the Virginia Roberts deposition. Manager. Okay, name the other politically connected and financially powerful people that Galen Maxwell told you to go have sex with. Virginia, okay, I'm going to tell you they, because that's how it went. They instructed me to go to a George Mitchell, Jean-Luc Brunel, Bill Richardson, another prince that I don't know his name, a guy that owns the hotel, a really large hotel chain. I can't remember which hotel it was. Marvin Minsky, there was, you know, another foreign president. I can't remember his name. He was Spanish. There was a whole bunch of them that I just, it's hard for me to remember all of them. You know, I was told to do something by these people constantly told to my whole life revolved around just pleasing these men and keeping Galen and Jeffrey happy. Their whole entire lives were evolved around sex. They call massages sex. They call modeling sex. They call Virginia's interrupted
here by manager who asks, I ask you the names for people. Are you going to tell me any other names or is that all of them? Virginia, I'm trying to think that's the answer I'm trying to give you. It's that it's hard to just keep naming and naming and naming. Manager, all right. Virginia, a lot of the times I would be introduced to them, I didn't know and Virginia's cut off in the middle of her comment by manager. If you're going to tell me more names, please continue your answer. Virginia, I'm trying to think. Manager, if you're just going to talk, Virginia, I'm sorry, I'm trying to think. Manager, okay, let's take a break and then you can think it over. They get back from the break and manager, ask Virginia, you have filed a lawsuit against Maxwell, correct? Virginia, yes. Manager, you understand her to be my client, correct? Virginia, yes. Manager, you understand her to be my client, correct? Virginia, yes. Manager, I'm here to talk to you about your allegations against Galen Maxwell. Do you understand
that? Virginia, yes. Manager, I want you to tell me a single time that you recall Galen Maxwell using words to you and directing you to go have sex with another person. Brad Edwards objects to this and manager keeps going. Not anybody else, Galen Maxwell. Edwards objects again, asked and answered to the extent that she can answer the question. I'd ask that she answered the question. Virginia, I have answered the question. The question that you're asking me is Galen and Galen and Jeffrey work together. They were the same person. They both directed me to do this. They both directed me to report back to them. They were both the same. Manager, you cannot recall a single instance in which Galen and here Virginia interrupts. Virginia, I have to. Manager, excuse me, in which Galen Maxwell alone directed you to have sex with another person. Virginia, I have to. Manager, correct. Virginia, believe. Edwards object, manager, I am
going to finish my question. Manager, correct. Mr. Edwards objects, are you finished with your question? Manager, now you may make your objection and then she may answer. Edwards, okay, objection, argumentative, harassing. For absolutely no reason. Mischaracterizing the witness's testimony. Answer if you can. Virginia, I gave you the names of the people that Galen herself has told me to go be sex traffic too, along with Jeffrey Epstein, okay. She's the one who brought me to Jeffrey Epstein to be trafficked in the fucking first place. So I've given you as much information as I possibly can to let you know what she was about, who she told me to go with, what she wanted me to do. That is what I'm stating and that's what I previously stated to you. Manager and these names that you have just given are people to whom Galen Maxwell alone told you to go have sex with. Edwards again objects characterization. Virginia, Galen and Jeffrey, I don't know how many times you want me to keep answering this question. Both told me to do this, okay. They both sent me to people. How
many times do you want me to answer this? Manager, I think you're answering a different question, so that's why I'm going to keep asking you again. I am not asking you anything about the time when Jeffrey and Galen told you together to go and do something. I'm asking you to name a single time during which Galen Maxwell acting alone directed you to go have sex with another person. Edwards again objects asked and answered harassing argumentative. I've given you the names of the people Virginia says that Galen instructed me to go have sexual relations with. I'm not excluding the fact that Jeffrey also told me Galen told me from her mouth to do these things. Jeffrey told me from his mouth to do these things with these people. Galen instructed me to go do these things that I did with Jeffrey Epstein on the very first meeting that I had with them. She brought me there under the preclusion that I was going to be a train masseuse and that she instructed me to take off my clothes and give oral sex to Jeffrey Epstein. Manager, excuse me, I've asked you for names. Virginia, I've just given you a name. Jeffrey
Epstein is a big name. Manager, all right. Virginia, she instructed me on that one. Manager, so you're saying Mr. Edwards, the witness is finishing. Her answer right now. She's in the process of explaining one of the people Galen told her to have sex with. Manager, so you're saying Galen Maxwell directed you to have sex with Epstein? Virginia, correct. Manager, Galen Maxwell directed you to have sex with Glendoubin? Virginia, correct. Manager, what words do Galen Maxwell tell you to go have sex with Glendoubin? Virginia, it was the same all the time, all right. They want me to go provide these men with a massage. And when they say massage, that means erotic, okay. That's their term for it. I think there are plenty of other witnesses that can attest to what massage actually means. And I'm telling you that Galen told me to go to redacted and give them a massage, which means sex. Manager, okay, so redacted. Glendoubin Maxwell told you to go give a massage to redacted.
Virginia, correct. Manager, that's your testimony. Virginia, that is my testimony. Manager, all right. Glendoubin Maxwell told you to go give a massage to redacted, correct? Virginia, correct. Manager, Glendoubin Maxwell told you to give a massage to redacted, correct? Virginia, correct. Manager, Galen, Maxwell told you to give a massage to redacted, correct? Virginia, correct. Manager, when did Glendoubin Maxwell tell you to give a massage to redacted? Virginia, I don't know the dates. Manager, where were you? Virginia, when it happened? Manager, When Golan Maxwell used the words, go give a massage to Bill Richardson. Where were you? Brad Edwards objects to the form and says that it mischaracterizes her testimony. Virginia, I can tell you where we were. I know where I was sent to. I don't know where we were when she told me to do that. Manager, were you sent to Virginia and your Jax New Mexico?
Manager by Golan Maxwell. Brad Edwards objects again and this time it's a form and it mischaracterizes her testimony once again. Virginia then asks manager, are you smiling at me because to this she's cut off? And manager goes, no, I'm asking you to answer the question. Virginia, I have answered the question. I was sent to New Mexico. Manager, okay, where were you sent from? Virginia, I already answered that. I don't know where I was sent from. Manager, okay, Virginia, I was flying everywhere with these people. Manager, where were you sent by Golan Maxwell to have sex with redacted? Edwards again objects to the form and says that it mischaracterizes the testimony. Many places Virginia responds. Manager, Golan Maxwell sent you to many places to have sex with redacted. Brad Edwards again objects to form. Virginia responds that happened at many places. Yes, manager, you had sex with redacted at many places. Is that what you're saying? Correct. Virginia,
I was sent to redacted at many places to have sex with them. Manager, when did Golan Maxwell send you to a place to have sex with redacted? Virginia starts to answer, you're asking, but then Edwards interjects form. Virginia, me to answer the impossible. Manager, all right, when did Golan Maxwell send you to have sex with the owner of a large hotel chain? Edwards again objects to the form and says mischaracterization? Virginia, I'm going to keep answering the questions the same way that I keep answering them. I don't know where it was when she said to go do this. Manager, okay, where were you sent to have sex with the owner of a large hotel chain by Golan Maxwell? Edwards again objects to form. Virginia, I believe it was one time in France. Manager, which time in France? Virginia, I believe it was around the same time that Naomi Campbell had a birthday party. Manager, where did you have sex with the owner of a large hotel chain in France around the time of Naomi Campbell's birthday party? Virginia, in his own cabana townhouse
thing. It was part of a hotel, but I wouldn't call it a hotel. Jeffrey was staying there. Golan was staying there. Emmy was staying there. I was staying there. This other guy was staying there. I don't know his name. I was instructed by Golan to go and give him an erotic massage. Manager, she used the words erotic massage? Virginia, no, that's my word. The word massage is what they would use. That's their code word. Manager, was she in the room when you gave this erotic massage to the owner of a large hotel chain? Virginia, no, she was not in the room. She was in another cabana. Manager, and other than telling you to give the owner of this large hotel chain a massage, do you remember any other words that she used to direct you in what you should do? Virginia, not at the time, no. Manager, where did, where were you, and where was Miss Maxwell when she directed you to go have sex with Marvin Minsky? Edward's objective form. Virginia, I don't know. Manager, where did you go to have sex with Marvin Minsky? Virginia, I believe it was
the U.S. Virgin Islands. Sorry, Jeffrey Epstein's Island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Manager, and when was that? Virginia, I don't know. Manager, do you have any time of year? Virginia, no. Manager, do you know how old you were? Virginia, no. Manager, other than Glenn Dubin, Steven Kaufman, Prince Andrew, Jean-Luc Brunel, Bill Richardson, another prince, the large hotel chain owner, and Marvin Minsky, is there anyone else that Glenn Maxwell directed you to go have sex with? And I hate to interject here, folks, but really, that's not enough. Oh, well, we're going to need some more people. I mean, for real? Virginia, I am definitely sure there is, but I can't remember everybody's name. Manager, okay, can you remember anything else about them? Virginia, look, I've given you what I know right now. I'm sorry, this is hard for me, and very frustrating to have to go over this. I don't even recall all of the people. There was a large amount of people that I was sent to. Manager, do you have any notes on all these people that you were sent to?
Virginia, no, I do not. Manager, where are your notes? Virginia, I burned them. Manager, when did you burn them? Virginia in a bonfire when I lived in Titusville because I was sick of going through this shit. Manager, did you have lawyers who were representing you at the time? You built the bonfire and burned those notes? Virginia, I've been represented for a long time, but it was not under the instruction of my lawyers to do this. My husband and I were pretty spiritual people, and we believe these memories were worth burning. Manager, so you burn notes of the men with whom you had sex with while you were represented by counsel in litigation, correct? Mr. Edwards, objective form. Virginia, this wasn't anything that was public, document, this was my own private journal, and I didn't want it anymore. So we burned it. Manager, when did you write that journal? Virginia, just over time, I started writing it and probably in, I don't know, I can't speculate, 2012, 2011? Manager, so you did not write this journal at the time it happened. Virginia, no.
Manager, you started writing this journal approximately a decade after you claimed you finished being sexually trafficked, correct? Virginia, yes. Manager, and you started writing a journal after you had a lawyer, correct? Virginia, correct. Manager, including Mr. Edwards, who was sitting right here, correct? Virginia, correct. Manager, what did that journal look like? Virginia, it was green. Manager, and what else? Virginia, it was just a spiral notebook. Manager, okay, and what did you put into a green spiral notebook? Virginia, bad memories, things I've gone through, lots of things, you know, I can't tell you there was a lot of pages. It was over 300 pages in that book. Manager, did you ever show that book to your lawyers? Virginia, no. Manager, did you ever show that book to anyone? Virginia, my husband, manager, did you show it to anyone else besides your husband? Virginia, no. Manager, did you tear out pages and give them to Sharon Churcher? Virginia,
no. I wrote those pages that you're talking about. I wrote for her specifically. She wanted to know about the Prince Andrew incident. Manager, so that's a different piece of paper. Virginia, yeah, that's just random paper. Manager, so you had a green spiral notebook that you began sometime in 2011 or 2012, in which you wrote down your recollections about what had happened to you and you burned that in a bonfire in 2013. Did I get that right? Answer, you got that right. Manager, and do you have no other names of people to whom you claim Glenn Maxwell directed you to have sex with? Correct. Virginia, at this time, no. Manager, is there any documentation that would refresh your recollection that you could look at? Virginia, if you have a document that you like to show me, I would be glad to look at it and tell you if the names I recognize off of that. Manager, I'm just asking you if there's a document you know of that has this list of names on it.
Virginia, no, not in front of me, no. All right, we're going to wrap up this episode here and in the next episode, we'll pick up where we left off. All of the information that goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
