Roger Stone now get him his own. It's the stone zone Here's Roger Stone
You are now jumping head first into the stone zone I am of course a veteran of 13 national presidential campaigns Probably six decades in the trenches of American politics and there is nowhere on the radio or the internet where you can get the kind of political analysis that we Serve up here every day in the zone Surprised by the news today that Maria Bartiroma one of my all-time favorites Fox I think one of the most incisive questioners out there in the media is leaving Fox No answers yet about the the circumstances ever leaving but it does occur to me that she would make a great White House press Equitary not saying I know anything, but I am just throwing it out there and then I also saw that Ted Cruz the Senator from Texas is thinking about a 2028 presidential campaign Why do people take an instantaneous dislike to Ted Cruz when they first meet him?
Well, they're only saving time Ted Cruz who I always thought kind of looked like grandpa monster Is not a viable candidate because the neo-con Win other Republican party once in complete and total control when Ted Cruz essentially was hired to be George W. Bush's brain during his presidential campaign Ted Cruz I think is out in step with where today's Republican party is and I predict that he could not hold a candle to J.D. Vance who is the presumptive frontrunner or Secretary of State Marco Rubioff He decided to run or even dark horse candidate to see Gabbard so Ted Cruz The claims of course about his father and the Kennedy assassination those come right out of the war in Commission reports and The exhibits the fact that Ted Cruz's father was in fact part of Lee Harvey Oswald's crew in New Orleans
Prior to the Kennedy assassination does not by the way mean that Ted Cruz's father was involved in the assassination of JFK But he was definitely involved with the intelligence agencies Surrounding that which raises a number of reasonable questions President Trump is now announced that he's preparing to spend the final month before the midterms campaigning at full throttle. I can tell you from my experience that this can make a huge difference in 1970 Nixon et the campaign trail save it a number of Republican seats in what is normally and historically The power the party out of power always loses strength in both houses Speaking Republican lawmakers and a bunch of administration officials at the White House Rose Garden dinner the other night President Trump said he intended to focus on roughly 35 competitive races beginning in October his plans include heavy travel his of course traditional signature rallies Teller rallies and tell its own halls
Potentially several in a single night This is going to be typical for netted energy by Donald J. Trump President Trump specifically mentioned Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan where as a dirty trick Democrats have gotten an independent whose name is also Dan Sullivan to file as a candidate and Obvious dirty trick designed to confuse voters in that state But also for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton who's running for the US Senate against far left socialist Democrat James Tallah freak out as the president calls him actually Tallah Rico the full list of targeted contests has not yet been released President Trump describes the plan as a return to the punishing schedule He used in the closing stretches of both his 2016 campaign also is incredible 2024 presidential comeback campaign saying he intends to devote essentially an incredible amount of time to the final push heading into the midterms
Now I can tell you why this is significant you see a White House appearance dominates local television markets Helps the candidate raise money and energizes supporters It can also nationalize a race that a congressional can't candidate might prefer to keep local that makes the reported 35 race plan a useful map of how President Trump himself Views the battlefield in other words watch where he actually travels watch which candidates receive remote events Watch where outside money flows and watch where races that never make the list are and how those are handled The enthusiastically pro magna candidates should be and I think will be the focal point of this tour But not the rhinos who are on the ballot president Trump can serve as the closer Who will seal the deal with voters so that the Magna candidates get elected and change the culture in Washington the final weeks are when casual voters begin paying attention and
Small shifts become decisive in close contests President Trump's presence is enough to shift races and change the fate of our nation I'm not one of those panicans ready to throw in the towel on the midterm elections I'm sorry to see so many who are our politics is extraordinarily volatile president Trump brings great star power and a great record to the arena and all Republican candidates should be a side relief And perhaps the greatest campaigner in political history and that takes in a lot of my heroes Which are Nixon Ronald Reagan and others is going to hit the campaign trail He also by the way to remind you he has a $400 million War chest at the magna ink pack That will be 600 million I predict over time if you put the Republican party funds at the House Senate and National Committee level He has essentially a one billion dollar War chest
Contrast that with the Democrats they have about 16 million on hand And they have a very heavy debt of at least I think 18 million dollars that they still owe from Kamala Harris's disastrous campaign So I have to bring this up again, but I'm afraid I must that is the issue of Allison Guerrero Allison Guerrero was the one-time mistress Of a of Charles McGonagall the head of the FBI's counter intelligence operation Who had a heavy hand in the Russian collusion oaks turns out that he was taking payments from the Russian Oleg Oleg Darapaska and Allison Guerrero Was a was essential in terms of turning him in Allison Guerrero was found dead in her apartment in South Florida on August 27th now I was very good friend of Allison Guerrero's in fact. I worked with her every single day She was a researcher for Stone Zone and I communicated with her both the day of her death and again the the day before
Meaning we were in contact when she suddenly suspiciously died she was engaged in her work She was upbeat. She was focused. She seemed happy She was not in my firsthand judgment Behaving like someone preparing to take their own life We still don't have a police report We still don't have a the results of a medical examination or an autopsy But she took enormous personal risks to become an FBI whistleblower She took those risks not because she was unstable But rather because she loved her country and she desired to expose the corruption When she dated McGonagall she was lied to and told that he was divorcing or divorced and that turned out to be not true Her information helped expose the disgraced former FBI counterintelligence official who later pled guilty in separate federal cases involving concealed foreign payments and work connected to the sanctioned Russian oligarch again oligdera pasca
Allison was still pursuing corruption inside the FBI. That's one of the things that makes me suspicious about her death She was still naming names. She was still working And then she told me she was receiving multiple threats because of her whistleblower activity Also knows she was having strange problems with her cell phone Your internet in the 48 hours before her death She was also by the way a deeply religious and devout Roman Catholic And that was not a minor detail in her life It actually shaped very much who she was and how she viewed the world So I'm not prepared to accept any premature narrative on how Allison died, but I will resist any rushed conclude That she took her own life and I will do everything I can to be sure the evidence is independently examined and any potential cover up is thwarting Allison's father has says the family is still waiting for the medical examiner the point and beach police say the cause of death has not been publicly established
We must consider the threats look at the communications carefully examined the timeline and peer through the medical evidence We must talk to the people who actually spoke to her in her final hours I was one of them Allison Guerrero deserves to be heard when she was alive and she deserves the truth now I will fight for justice for Allison Guerrero. It is what she deserves I'm not making a premature judgment other than to say I Fervently denied that she took her own life whether she died as part of an accident or whether it was final play Well, we just don't know the answer to that yet We'll be reporting on this in the zone as she would have wanted This is Troy Millens from Ernie Leisure on Ernie Leisure were all about smart money moves and here's one most people skip and it starts with insure Most of us never shop our car insurance the policy renews every year the rate creeps up a little at a time And nobody calls you to tell you you stay with the same company because it's easy and that convenience costs you real money
That's what insure if I fixes real quotes for more than 120 top insurance companies side by side about two minutes free No phone calls no pressure and if there's nothing better for you right now Insure if I keep watching and tells you when that changes so you're never stuck over paying Millions of people have used insure if I to shop for their car insurance So insure with insure if I go to insure if I dot com that's I and as you are If y dot com insure if I dot com This is Matt Rogers from Los Coulteries test with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang This is Bowen Yang from Los Coulteries test Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang You know when people try a new food and suddenly it's like wait That's the reaction a lot of people are having when they first try QB mayo It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle you probably seen it in the grocery store before And if you've ever just walked past it some people would say that's a huge mistake because this mayo is different Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs QB only uses egg yolks
Which gives it this rich umami flavor. It's smoother, deeper and almost buttery once people try it They start putting it on everything egg sandwiches fries burgers Some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it once you notice it you start seeing it everywhere Shafes use it restaurants use it people who really care about flavor use it never try it Grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're at the store put it on just about anything then you'll understand QB the original Japanese mayonnaise. This is actually like an Eddie from the almost famous podcast You ever notice you and your spouse keep saying we need to get away But you never actually plan anything that was us until we did something fun and spontaneous We went to resort pass dot com there are hundreds of hotel resorts pools and spots and private beaches that you can enjoy You can spend the day at a luxury resort pool spa massage without booking an overnight stay and listen I may have only been like 15 minutes from home But it felt like it was a whole different world and I'm thinking this is exactly what I needed
So just go to resort pass dot com choose your resort choose your day luxury resort day passes start at just $1,500 once you post your daycation people are gonna ask where you are good to resort pass dot com slash almost famous and use the promo code Almost famous to get $20 off when you spend $100 that's code almost famous at resort pass dot com slash almost famous Meanwhile, China doesn't need an army marching down Pennsylvania Avenue We can just recruit the weakwilded and disloyal Americans already inside the country Thomas W. Pocken the second American journalist whose father I actually know Spent years working China has just been sentenced to two years in federal prison after admitting that he acted as an agent of the Chinese government inside the United States It's father Tom Pocken was the chairman of the college Republicans before I was chairman of the young Republican national Federation so clearly the apple has fallen very far from the trade
This is by the way not an anonymous source story. It's not a congressional accusation young Pocken decided to plead guilty to the charges According to the justice department. He worked from at least 2019 until February, February of 2026 at the direction of individuals connected to China's Ministry of State Security He received at least $100,000 met with prospective intelligence assets Supplied some of the communications devices passed along tasking and prepare reports for his Chinese handlers The Department of Justice says that Pocken also attempted to identify people who might provide sensitive information and dealt with Chinese clients seeking American technology and other justice department information His attorney claims Pocken does not actually transmit did not actually transmit classified material to Beijing But even if that is technically true, it does not erase conduct to which he played guilty
Working for the Communist Party or for the Chinese government is Crime running commentary favorable to China's protected speech is a difference Americans are free to say foolish and dumb things its best opinions that are important or repugnant But the line is crossed when an American sickly takes direction from a foreign intelligence apparatus It begins to help get recruit collect penetrate that is a crime and is called treason China's competition the United States is not confined to just tariffs or semi-conductors or naval tonage or just Disagreement over the future of Taiwan intelligence recruitment is part of the same contest Influence operations are cheaper than aircraft carriers and often much much harder to detect China is notoriously adept at some version young Pocken was an example of a Spinalist person who's taken in by China and then used by them He doesn't deserve our sympathy his case serves a lesson to anyone doing business with China that they're aligned to you
Simply cannot cross or you will be prosecuted People need to wake up to the fact that it is China not Russia who is the greatest threat to this country The Chinese Communist Party is deeply infiltrated all strata of life here in the United States Buying up you swathes of very desirable farmland ranch land But also specifically buying up land contiguous to national security facilities They've also infiltrated academia business all strata of America life The CCP is the eight is the number one enemy of the United States I'm sad to see that young Tom Pocken son of a guy who's actually a friend of mine fell for their nonsense It became essentially a spy for the Chinese Communist Party I'm Roger Stone. Telling it like it is right here in the Stone Zone. Don't go away because we'll be right back This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone. He likes politics and he's a professional at the highest level Roger Stone was Roger
The Stone Zone The Stone Zone Entertaining and informative on the Red Apple podcast network This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone Roger Stone is a very very one of the smartest political minds Roger Stone was persecuted people forget he's actually a brilliant brilliant political analyst now get him his own It's the Stone Zone Here's Roger Stone Welcome back into the Stone Zone where of course we're talking politics once again New York City mayor Zoran Mammdami no surprise here has created a network of influencers who have paid up to $20,000 per post to create the false impression that his socialist beliefs are actually popular
Group of influencers on the encrypted message app signal with over 200 members are reportedly fed their talking points by Amelia Wolland who works as director of new media and cultural communications for the mayor's office now while Mammdami's office does not pay these influencers directly The influencers are paid by city agencies for work on different campaigns These influence had between tens of thousands and millions of followers So they certainly have the way to seriously impact public opinion that is precisely the idea Influences are not legally allowed to disclose that they're paid operatives when making their posts adding a layer of deception to what Mammdami's entire So did operations doing here This has become a very big issue my good friend congresswoman and a polina Luna has just sponsored legislation required the that if you are paid by a foreign government Or a foreign entity and you're posting stuff on social media online whether it's Instagram whether it's YouTube whether it's ex whether it's true social that you have to
Disclose who is paying you in order to obscure the money trail in this case The influencers paid through advertising and marketing companies that have lucrative contracts with the city of New York This way they obscure the paper trail and they create plausible deniability that they help or shield them from culpability and the identification that they're actually paid voices Democrats are attempting defend the scheme by saying that paying off in first spread messages is a more Cost effective way of promotion than using television ads well, but television ads require a legal disclaimer required to say both audibly and visually who paid for it But that ignores the seediness of this New York City campaign by the mayor the public sees the television campaign understands that it's Inauthentic when they see posts by influencers They're led to think that those poster sincere that they're indigenous that they're original that they're homegrown The socialists are always adept at messaging and Mim Domi scheme shows how far the far left will not hesitate to resort to in terms of deceptiveness to gain political
Advances under false pretenses, but the worst part of this is your tax dollars are being paid for online messaging to To benefit the radical leftist progressive Islamic mayor of New York City your tax dollars That I have never seen before and it is important I think that these people who are doing this should be required to say who's paying them Of course, they're not going to do that. I'm Roger Stone You're listening to the Stone Zone when we come back I want to focus on the family of convicted murderer Carmelo Anthony because he's once again out in public Badging for money. I'm going to tell you where not to send your funds. Don't go away. We'll be right back in the Stone Zone The Stone Zone entertaining and informative on the Red Apple podcast network
This is the Stone Zone now get in his own. It's the Stone Zone A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him Not everybody but people love him and respect him. Roger Stone. Where's Roger Stone? Welcome back into the Stone Zone. You know sometimes these leftists they shot to even mayor This case the family of convicted murderer Carmelo Anthony Once again out in public begging for money on their give-son-go fundraiser where they've raised about $27,000 for an appeal for Anthony after reportedly squandering almost $600,000 it was raised previously They're back at it again even woke leftists have gotten the message that they were being scammed additionally more information about Carmelo Anthony has emerged Anything that reportedly said text messages Bragging about how he wanted to stab someone and lick the blood off the blame
Trick blade turns out that he was not some innocent teenager defending himself at all But now even the BLM leftists who always take the side of the criminal at least when they have the right content of Melanon in their skin are no longer rallying to Anthony's defense It's the same situation of all of these racially charged cases A criminal is turned into a martyr then there's a media frenzy that turns reality upside down We saw it Feaked during the summer of 2020 when violent felon and fentanyl enthusiast George Floyd died Our resisting arrest amid a police encounter the media and the organized left was able to gin up public rage and our entire country burned as a result very few people went to jail Over that multi-million dollar destruction of public property and the many people injured But the public I think is finally waking up. They're seeing the patterns in the cases Although there was a fervent core of deranged maniacs who initially rallied around Anthony
Is cause ultimately failed and caused national outrage That's because black lives matter and woke is it my think has peaked It does not mean that they cannot regain their lost momentum or that we're in the clear on a permanent basis We must remain vigilant against his threat But as shown the amount of progress that the magma movement has made in the culture war in this country Carmelo Anthony will be riding in jail for many decades and deservedly so for the heinous unjust five murder of the teenager Austin metcalf This is Troy Millings from earn your leisure on earn your leisure We're all about smart money moves and here's one most people skip Car insurance renews on autopilot the rates creep up and nobody tells you That's what insure five fixes in about two minutes completely free You can see rates for more than 120 top insurance companies and if there's nothing better today They keep washing and notify you when there's a better rate So go to insurefide.com that's i n s u r i f y.com
insurefide.com This is Matt Rogers from Los Cultures. That's with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang This is Bowen Yang from Los Cultures. It's Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang You know when people try a new food and suddenly it's like wait That's the reaction a lot people are having when they first try cupe mayo It's the one with the red cap and the little baby on the bottle you've probably seen it in the grocery store before And if you've ever just walked past it some people would say that's a huge mistake because this mayo is different Most mayonnaise uses whole eggs cupe only uses egg yolks which gives it this rich umami flavor It's smoother, deeper and almost buttery once people try it they start putting it on everything Examenges fries burgers some fans even swear by dipping pizza crust in it and once you notice it You start seeing it everywhere chefs use it restaurants use it people who really care about flavor use it Never try it grab the bottle with the red cap next time you're at the store put it on just about anything Then you'll understand cupe the original Japanese mayonnaise
This is actually like an eddy from the almost famous podcast You ever notice you and your spouse keep saying we need to get away But you never actually plan anything that was us until we did something fun and spontaneous We went to resort pass calm there are hundreds of hotel resorts pools and spots and private beaches that you can enjoy You can spend the day at a luxury resort pool spa massage without booking an overnight stay and listen I may have only been like 15 minutes from home But it felt like it was a whole different world and I'm thinking this is exactly what I needed So just go to resort pass calm choose your resort choose your day luxury resort day passes start at just $1,500 once you post your daycation people are gonna ask where you are good of resort pass calm Slash almost famous and use the promo code almost famous to get $20 off when you spend $100 That's code almost famous at resort pass calm slash almost famous
In the meantime the house of Representatives had a chance to permanently fix the supreme court at nine justices But that didn't happen thanks to far left-democrat obstructions House Republicans brought forward a constitutional amendment that would have locked the current size of the court Into the constitution at nine justices the measure received get $212 to 206 majority but far far short of the two-thirds vote required for a constitutional amendment in the house Constitution self does not specify the number of justices congress has changed the size several times And the court has remained at nine since 1869 Republicans framed the vote as an attempt To remove court expansion from future partisan warfare Democratic opponents argued that the constitutionally by constitutionalizing nine seats would freeze in place and advantage Currently created by president Donald Trump's three appointments as if Trump somehow manipulated reality to give
Himself an appointment advanced now. There's a history to this and that history is impossible to ignore President Franklin Delano Roosevelt tried to expand the court in 1937 When some of the justices frustrated the more socialistic parts of the New Deal congress rejected him and the court packing became a political weapon And it wasn't for generations Was that actually badly was defeated in the midterm elections over his court packing plan the idea returned after the court Developed his current 63 conservative majority how coincidental and it began to issue major rulings on abortion Gun rights and others that offended the administrative state now some Democrat lawyer-mountmakers have backed legislation expanding the court to 13 seats It's so obvious the Democrats will vote to expand the court as soon as they possibly can Which why these midterm elections are so incredibly important the amendment has always been a long shot
But also need two-thirds of the Senate and then it would have to be ratified by 38 states, but it's still worth pushing forward to make the Democrats prove where they stand packing the US supreme courtes Overwimely unpopular with the American people they're very satisfied with the current nine justices So this symbolic vote has revealed an institutional fault line that will prove instructive during the midterms But sadly that's all it will be when a political faction can change the referee That they dislike when they dislike the calls while the integrity the game falls apart completely Republicans simply cannot allow that to happen Meanwhile Republican Congresswoman Laurel Lee and Senator actually moody of Florida are proposing One national rule for federal mail-in ballots requiring election officials to have the ballot before the polls close on election day Lee Florida's former secretary of state has introduced the House legislation while Senator moody of Florida is carrying the Senate bill
Proposal does not abolish absentee voting or mail-in voting is simply clarifies what the finish line is States could still distribute ballots according to their own state laws But a ballot arriving after election day would not count in any federal race Legislation follows the Trump administration's efforts to impose a similar deadline through executive action Some of which may have become entangled in this litigation Lee points to Florida as proof that a receipt deadline can coexist with Substantial mail-in voting Providing voters receive clear instructions and understand the rules and are given enough time to return the mail-in ballots The political appeal here to me is obvious Campaigns want finality voters want understandable rules long post-election counting periods create Suspicion even if nothing improper has occurred although that is really the case There's no reason why the process is elongated unnecessarily except for to enable fraud or cheating
Every election system has a cutoff somewhere federal races should share one National end point rather than operating under 50 different receipt rules Democrats hide behind federalism and decentralization order to enact loose election laws and allow them to commit fraud Although I still remain opposed to federal legislation. I think it's up to states to regulate their elections But it's laughable now that the party that loves centralized control on virtually every other has problems when it comes to election integrity Their objections should not be taken seriously Every public is must move forwards to steamroll their machine designed to steal elections So this case Congresswoman Lee and Senator Moody have proposed a common sense rule that gives clarity to our election process Congress now owns the question because legislation Unlike an executive order creates a durable statutory rule the deadline will create additional public confidence in the system that is proven To be very faulty in recent years it must be passed immediately along a course with the save America act
Protect the honesty and integrity of our elections Well Elon Musk is back in Texas is getting his first big check Elon Musk is back in the political money game and his first major disclosure in the midterm spending burst tells us exactly where the pressure point lies Elon Musk's America pack reportedly more than $800,000 in August of independent expenditures planned across competitive Senate and house races around the country Texas received the largest share about $248,000 as Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton faces far left Democrat James Tallerico Called Taller Freco by President Donald Trump in a race national Republicans can no longer treat As an automatic hold the fact that Texas could go blue is in itself a commentary on the demographic changes going on in the Lone Star State Maine received about $170,000 followed by Ohio
New Hampshire Iowa Michigan and Alaska with additional spending and competitive house districts these spenders are largely for printed campaign material While America pack can separately purchase digital advertising Musk previously suggested he would dramatically reduce his political spending after becoming the target after becoming the largest Individual donor in the 2024 election Instead reports say he has authorized his America pack to spend more than $100 million helping Republicans this year So the daytime between Elon Musk and the Maga movements therefore becoming measurable in dollars Making previous frustration seemed like a distant memory. It's great to have Elon Musk Who I'm a great admirer of back in the fold of course He says he's spending a hundred million dollars today He has the ability to make that two hundred million dollars tomorrow if he wishes to do so I believe he is the richest man on the planet Musk is an unusual political asset because well he combines virtually unlimited financial capacity with something
Traditional mega donors have never possessed control of one of the countries dominant political communications platforms Sheldon Adelson for example had money George Soros bill institutions, but Musk has money and the X platform plus his own celebrity and his willingness to intervene personally that makes him a genuine Pardon the pun here X factor against the historical midterm tendency for the Presidents party to lose ground in a midterm election Texas being the first on spending also shows it must has his finger on the pulse of exactly what is necessary in the upcoming midterms turn to general ten paksten faces an expensive statewide media market and a well-funded opponent He's also been been deprived of establishment public and funding because he defeated the Rhino competitor incumbent john cornon in the primary so now suddenly the national republican Centenario committee which spent six fingers. I think was six hundred thousand dollars try to boost these chances of cornon
says they have no money for ten paksten leaving him to defend for himself Well Elon Musk and his america pack is riding to the rescue And making these triage decisions now Musk showed in 2024 this political operation could be trusted And it's a blessing to have him back in the fall once again Texas is a perfect example of a place where he can make a real difference Meanwhile the Trump administration has found another immigration battlefield and this one sits inside state government databases rather than along our borders The Justice Department's office of legal counsel says states participating in the temporary assistance for needy families and supplemental security income must report individuals They know to be unlawfully present to the Department of Homeland Security The important word there is state so doj now says congress meant the entire state government not merely this Pacific welfare agency administering the funds in this case that reverses a
1998 Clinton error interpretation that treated the obligation much more narrowly All 50 states participate in these programs and the federal grants exceed over 16.4 billion dollars annually the Department of Justice says the new interpretation will apply prospectively in states will not be punished retroactively for relying on this old guidance This is potentially more consequential than an ice raid in terms of combating illegal immigration you see modern government already possesses enormous amounts of information benefits agencies know things Motor Vehicles Departments know things licensing offices know things The administration's argument is that immigration enforcement becomes theater when one arm of the government possesses legally relevant information while another is forbidden from receiving it The legal fight will turn on statutory language federalism and the meaning of the word known Suspicion is not knowledge a name accent or foreign birthplace does not establish unlawful status
That distinction matters because sloppy implementation we create obvious due process arguments that could head to the courts states and advocacy organizations may challenge the Department of Justice's interpretation in court And some governors will undoubtedly attempt to resist But administration is not describing this as a new statuary Congress imposed this obligation in the 1996 welfare law Trump administration declaring that the government went meant what it said And therefore these databases in the hands of state governments can reveal enormous amount about who is on them That is not a legal citizen and they can then be matched with the voter files to sort out those who are Planning or will vote illegally Americans have been told that handing over drivers licenses price of security I say scan the ID verify the age prove you are a real person It's the contractor. This is uh, this is uh, one of the key elements of course of the save America act
It seems like common sense Why shouldn't someone be a US citizen and have a photo ID in order to vote? I'm Roger Stelner listening to stones on the trouble all things politics And when we come back we're gonna talk about the need for the ID verification verification is upcoming elections and how that might be achieved Don't go away. We'll be right back in the zone This is the stone zone with Roger's dough That is a great great person Roger Stone The stone zone The stone zone entertaining and informative on the red apple podcast network This is the stone zone with Roger Stone
Roger Stone is the very very one of the smartest political minds Roger Stone was persecuted people forget he's actually a brilliant brilliant political analyst now get him his own It's the stone zone Here's Roger Stone Welcome back into the stone zone something very strange has happened I mean Americans have spent years being told that handing over one's drivers license is a place of security Scan the ID Verify your age prove you're a real person trust the contractor It's being got an incredibly common place for us to submit our most sensitive private personal details over the internet We barely didn't think about it anymore, but now a dark web service called nexus has advertised access to more than 153 million U.S. and Canadian drivers license records along with passports and other identification documents and medical cards Cybersecurity journalist Brian Krebs Produced a report as he searched the system and found his own Virginia drivers license the database also contained the identification associated with the
Secretary of War Pete Hankseth for example working with security researcher Zach Edwards Krebs trace documents towards Louisiana based identity verification company IDS scan.net although ID scan has not publicly confirmed that the entire trove came from their system the FBI's new orlands office Says it's looking into the incidents, but suddenly nexus disappeared shortly after all this Republican Porting went public. This is the central contradiction in surveillance economy politicians and corporations increasingly want permanent identity documents uploaded to third parties in the name of safety age verification and fraud prevention every one of those databases becomes a treasure trove of course for criminals or those who would vote in the name of another with the advent of a eyes becoming easier for hackers to get hold of this information much easier than ever before password can't always be changed after a breach your face cannot your day of birth cannot be changed
Your savings your can't be changed your driver's license history cannot be changed The answer is not to pretend identity verification is never necessary The answer is to stop treating data retention as free companies collecting these documents must be out to a particularly high standard And when they allow these breaches there must be severe consequences Because when they get likes well the privacy of millions of Americans are at stake Meanwhile the American military footprint in Australia is meant to deter any military aggression from China Defense of secretary the secretary of war ptec seth and the Australian defense minister Richard miles have announced deeper cooperation as China Expanses diplomatic economic and military influence throughout the Pacific Miles said American forces Posterior in Australia is growing across every domain existing agreements already permit us forces to train rotate aircraft store equipment and support American naval operations on Australian territory under the
AUKUS the HMAS sterling Naval base in western Australia is preparing to host for US commanded Virginia class submarines beginning in 2027 so Washington and the Australians have announced a combined $580 million for Pacific Island nations as Beijing competes aggressively for influence throughout the infrastructure projects Grants and security relationships in Australia China claims that Australia risks accelerating at regional arms race If they scramble to remain the region's Pre-eminent hegemon Australia Illustrates they want serious alliance building sharing looks like geography ports Fuel depots repair facilities submarine access and of course money or all of the utmost importance the treaty printed Unexpensive paper is useless if the ally provides none of those things when a crisis arrives Australia provides strategic depths close enough to the Indo-Pacific theater to complicate the Chinese
Military's calculations while remaining outside the most exposed first-Island chain positions $480 million in a Pacific package reflects another reality that China does not want to compete with only with destroyers It competes with loans roads telecommunication projects and public relationships here American strategy Therefore has to operate in those very same dimensions the strategic mechanism behind this US Australia deal is coherent and clear we must distribute forces Strengthened allied infrastructure and make aggression far more expensive for Beijing so that they never decide to test it The rule of deterrence is timeless the cheapest war is the one year adversary decides it cannot win Thanks for joining since the stone zone till tomorrow God bless you and Godspeed Thanks for listening to the stone zone with Roger stone You can hear the stone zone with Roger stone weeknights at eight on 77 Wabc if you like the podcast share it with your friends and listen anytime at wabcradio.com
