In our previous episode, the one titled, let's give me a second, the Prophet among people, which is episode 11. We learned how he walked among people in the mosque and in the streets of Medina, greeting, helping and showing kindness to everyone he met. And the takeaway from that is that we should show kindness, respect, mercy and doing simple things in our day to day life. Saying hello, a simple assalamu alaykum to everyone we cross smiling, helping anyone we see that needs help by opening the door, by cat, whatever it is.
We should use these little things that we can do that have the most impacts of Allah in other people's lives, including ourselves. But today, insha'Allah, we will explore another powerful dimension of the Prophet's life, salallahu alayhi wa sallam. The Prophet peace be upon him as a teacher, not a teacher who lectured from a distance, but a teacher who nurtured hearts, answered questions and shaped lives. And as always, I would like to remind you of an ayah, where Allah SWT tells us in Suratul Jum'a verse number 2, or ayah number 2. Is this the one? Yes, it is. Let's listen to it together after Abu-Llahi min al-Shaytan al-Rajim.
The translation of that ayah, he is the one who raised for the illiterate people a messenger from among themselves, reciting to them his revelations purifying them. And teaching them the book and wisdom, for indeed they had previously been clarity astray. Teaching was part of the prophetic mission, and what made the Prophet peace be upon him unique was how he taught. I'm saying this of the smile, I can only imagine. As you listen to this, I want you to reflect on your teachers, the teachers you had through the whole course of your life, could be from school, from college, from university.
Imagine what did that teacher do, that had an impact on your life. And also reflect on which teaching from the Prophet peace be upon him, has impacted your life the most. You know, when we sit and think of these things, they might not come instantly, but hopefully by the, as you're listening to these episodes and our previous episodes, they'll be more apparent. And as you realize them, I'd love you to share them with me, by calling to 4602058, or sending a message on WhatsApp, the number to use is 724207. In my earlier years, I don't know how many of you know this of me, but I used to be a musician. I know, a change of, this is the beauty of life, we change, we evolve, we learn, I was a violinist, and with the role of Man's Symphony Orchestra, and people always used to come up to me and ask me to teach their children.
And I always used to say, no, because I knew, I had to be honest with myself, I knew early on, I didn't have the qualities to be a teacher. I could have been, I was, Alhamdulillah, a great performer, I was good at what I did, but I don't know if any of my friends were listening, they know that it's not easy to teach. And how during the course of my years, the teachers, the teachers I have had, from various subjects, not only music, anything that I learned. And I think many students would agree, the impact the teacher has really, and it makes us either love the topic or not. It could be a simple thing with his character or her character. If they didn't have compassion, they didn't have patience, they didn't love the subject themselves. It was very hard to teach or to, you know, make someone understand something, where they themselves are not passionate about it.
So as students, as from the other end receiving this, we would understand that, okay, this is just a job. And you would not really get the benefit and you would not really love the subject. And we see this as well with our kids in primary school, where some, they might love this subject just because of the teacher. And on the other hand, if a student does not love the topic, sometimes all you have to do is change the teacher. And I'm sure many parents can relate that once that shift was done, there's a different approach to the lessons, because now we enjoy the subject. So I knew that I didn't have the quality of patience. I couldn't, as much as I then loved what I did. To be a teacher, you need many qualities, which is the attributes that the prophet peace be upon him has. And one that eventually Alhamdulillah with time and with during the course of our lives, we pick up as well.
So I want to focus here as well on something that the prophets of Al Al-Linus and I'm used to do. And I want you to imagine this with me. Imagine Medina, the Mosques calm after prayer, the companions sit in a circle, and the prophet peace be upon him sits among them. Now we know from previous episodes, I have shared many times, the prophet never sat above them. He was not sitting high upon a chair or anything like that, but he sat amongst them. And he had liked to read and accept from the book a day in the life of the prophet peace be upon him. The author describes how the companions would gather around him, listening attentively as he spoke with clarity and wisdom. His words were measured and meaningful, and every gathering became a moment of learning and spiritual growth. He did not overwhelm them.
He taught gradually. A companion described his speaking style. The prophet peace be upon him would speak clearly, so that if someone wished to count his words, they could mashallah. Can you imagine that we speak, even myself, sometimes on the shore. You hear me speak quickly, and I need to remind myself that people are listening, so I need to speak slower. It's not because of anything but to make sure that you understand every word that I say. So his speech, Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam was deliberate, purposeful, meaningful. And this is something that I want to reflect on. When we stand in prayer, we should not be rushing to say whatever that we need to say, just so we can mentally say, OK, I've done that. You need to be present. And even when speaking to others, if you spoke very quickly, just to get your point across,
the receiving person might not understand what you really meant. And sometimes you have to repeat, no, no, no, no, no, I meant to say blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Because the other one says, yeah, but I thought you meant this. So if we slow down in our speech and follow the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam, in the way he spoke, I think we would understand each other better. What do you think? Call me, let me know. The number two call is 2460205824602058 or send me your thoughts on WhatsApp. The number is 7244007. I think I should say that's lower. That was too fast. 7244007. I'll leave you with that time to give me a call and we'll return after the short break in Shaa'Allah. You're listening to Love Your Life guided by the Prophet Peace be upon him on 90.4 Armanifan.
Stay tuned, we'll be right back. You can call us on 24602058. We would love to hear from you. Welcome back to Love Your Life on 90.4 Armanifan with me, Maya El Sayed. Today we're focusing on learning about the qualities and character attributes of the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Before the break, I asked you, what is one thing that impacted you as a student from your teacher? Join me, share your reflection on 24602058. I'm reminding myself to speak slower because that is what the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam did. Or send me a message on WhatsApp 724207.
I was speaking about the circle of learning, which reminded me of something I think I would like to share, which is Halakat al-Dhikir. So Halakat al-Dhikir refers to a gathering or a circle where Muslims come together to remember Allah SWT. And this is something that we should do with our families, with our kids. It doesn't have to be something long, so you can take 5-10 minutes of your day, decide on the time, and do it with your family. Remember Allah, maybe there's an ayah that came about, you were reading and you wanted to reflect on it. Maybe one of the prophetic teachings like gather your family around, similar to what the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam did with his companions in Medina, and do that with our families. And not only that, even as yourself, you should one would hope we attend such gatherings, at least once a week.
And it rewards you get from attending these meetings. They could be at mosques at somebody's house, even meeting with your friends, and then just mentioning doing a little bit of that, even within your own meeting. Subhanallah, imagine that the spiritual rewards that you get from this bin Allahi ta'ala is you are surrounded by angels. Angels envelop those who gather for the cure and mercy and covers them. Yeah, and just being in the presence of angels is something Subhanallah, I don't know. We can't see them, but knowing that they're there is just, I don't know, makes me smile and brings me, I don't know, gives me the sense of calmness, Alhamdulillah, and honor Alhamdulillah. And tranquility, you get sakina, peace and tranquility descend upon everyone who attends these halakas. Divine mention Allah Subhanallah, the creator mentions the participant to the angel in his presence.
Can you imagine? Forgiveness, such gatherings are a means of seeking forgiveness, of reminding you of the purpose. And even I find that when I attend such gatherings, whatever problem I am facing or challenge on facing in my life, makes it a bit easier to deal with because Allah is reminding me of the purpose that we're going to be tested in all of that. It's often resulting in sins of Allah being forgiven, and bad deeds being placed with good ones, when inshaAllah you attend such gatherings and make it so far. The Prophet, peace be upon him, referred to gatherings of the cure as the medals of paradise, advising believers to graze in them. So even the Prophet, peace be upon him, wants us to attend such gatherings, where he is mentioned, where he's teaching some mentioned, where we learn more about our deen, how to be a better Muslim, how to please Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. And we do so many things for dunya, we go to so many places meeting socially for work, for whatever purpose, so at least once a week, and that's not a lot to ask for.
At least once a week, this is the time for your soul, for your heart to reconnect Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to remind yourself of the purpose of this life. And make this journey, like my guest Tina yesterday said, to make our hearts anchored to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, makes this journey a bit more easier to bear. What do you think? Have you attended Majalya Subhikir, how do you feel? I'd love to hear from anyone of you in this applies to male and female, of course, my brothers and my sisters, to attend these halakas. Let me know, I'd love to hear from you, and as I always say, that you don't know what your participation can lead to. Somebody might hear your participation or your reflection, and you know, resonate with that, and take action. So you don't know how Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is going to use whatever you're going to say.
So, renew your intention before calling, before messaging, for Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala that may Allah continue to use you and us all insha'Allah, for others to remind them of the beauty of the steen and the purpose of our life. And you can do so by calling 2-4-602-058-24602-058, or send me a message on WhatsApp, 72-442-007-72-442-007. Eventually, these teachings, they are speaking to your heart, so your heart shapes, you are reminded, as always, who is Allah in the purpose of our life. Such a beautiful thing, to be honest, and it's something I wish people told me earlier in my years. I came to find out about this, I don't know, about 10, no, maybe 5-6 years ago. But now you have the opportunity to listen to, love your life and have your sister Meiya, reminding you of these, on 90.4 R.M.
Teaching with wisdom and simplicity, the Prophet, peace be upon him, understood that knowledge must be delivered with wisdom and sincerity and passion. If you're not passionate about what, this can be for a teacher, or for anyone who is in a position who teaches. If you're not passionate about whatever you're teaching, your students will feel that. And Allah Subhanahu Ta'ala instructs us in, just a moment, pulling the ayah up, instructs us in Surat Annahal, ayah 125. Let's listen to this ayah together, rather than shaytan orajim. Invite all to the way of the Lord, with wisdom and kind advice, and only debate with them in the best manner.
Surely, your Lord alone knows best who has strayed from his way and who is rightly guided. And this is especially, Yannis PanAllah and Allah's Hikma and wisdom, especially when we talk about religion and faith. There's nothing that is false, la ikra hafidin, there's nothing that is forced upon you. But it's something that you should, when instructing others, give with compassion, gentleness, because you want eventually the person to follow this advice. Allah's commands and the teachings of the Prophet, peace be upon him. So, the Prophet, peace be upon him, teachings were simple, direct, accessible. Make things easy and do not make them difficult. Give glad tidings and do not drive people away. This is from Bukhari and Muslim. So, do not drive people away with the way you instruct, making them feel that this is a heavy task to do.
And sometimes whoever you are listening to and the way they deliver the message, and this is another thing that I want to share. I don't it could be just me, but let me know what you think. Not everyone who has the knowledge can be a teacher. Not everyone who has the knowledge can be a teacher or can present or can talk about the subject. And likewise, not every presenter can teach, you know what I mean? Some people get it wrong. They think, no, because I have the knowledge I can teach you, but if you teach and instruct, and it's not the prophetic way, not with gentleness, not direct, and talking a lot instead of really getting to the point and being gentle with everything, and especially if somebody doesn't understand, how do you deal with that? All of these attributes, they do make a difference. And let me know if you agree with me or not, and the number to call is 2-4-602-058-246-02058, or send me a message on WhatsApp.
The number is 7-242-007. Notice the balance as well. Faith should attract hearts, not repel them. And there's so much more to Islam than, you know, usually we hear, if you don't do this, this will happen. If you don't do this, there's so many ways to attract other hearts, not other hearts, to the religion, to changing ways. And it's not like if you see them and say, okay, this, they cannot join because she's not wearing the hijab or she's not. It's not about what she is wearing, but it's about her heart, you're speaking to her heart. So don't push people away from attending, al-Qaeda, or anything like that, just from their appearance. And those who attend, don't make that person feel like they're not welcome here because they do not conform to whatever it is that you are confirming. They are new guests to this Majalist or to this place.
Welcome them, make them feel that they want to return again, not that they, I went there and I don't want to go there again, because then we'll be repelling them and not using the prophetic guidance of our beloved Prophet Muhammad. When companions became overly strict with themselves, he reminded them, salallahu alayhi wa sallam, peace be upon him, to find balance. This religion is easy and no one makes the religion difficult except that it overwhelms him. So when changes happen in religion, and I can relate this to my own personal journey, and I don't say in Islam, I was born in Muslim Alhamdulillah, but the things that I eventually started changing, it didn't happen overnight. And I was never forced, it was always Alhamdulillah, Arabic, I mean, I was guided by Allah, by putting people in my life, who reminded me of the purpose, learning about the Prophet,
learning more about the Quran, all of this came easy, even this show by the way. If you go back to the first seasons of the show, I don't know if they're available, but it didn't always start with this Alhamdulillah now that I'm, you know, I know my niche now and I know where I stand, because this show, love your life also developed as I developed, also changed as I changed. It was always about hope, and always reminding us of our purpose, but it was very subtle then, and now it's very clear Alhamdulillah, and same with myself. People always thought, oh, may you suddenly change, and you've become different, I was always the same man, but it's just what I chose to show. And now, Alhamdulillah, Arabic, I mean, I am more confident in my religion and in who I am, so now it's just part of me. I can't see myself, for example, without my hijab, no matter where I am in the world, yeah, and it's just part of who I am, and what I do now, I am blessed to be able,
and honored to be able to do this Alhamdulillah, Arabic, I mean. So, faith thrives in balance. They always has to be a balance, deen or dunya, so religion and life. But you see what I put forward, I put forward deen. Why did I put forward deen? I wish I had a guest here and we can talk about this, but I don't have a guest today. So, my listeners, I invite you to join and be part of the show. Why do we think we should put our deen first? This is the, like, I think a six-year-old, seven-year-old can answer that question. Call me. Let me know. 7, 2, double 4, 2, 0, 0, 7. This is the WhatsApp number. Don't call me on that number. If you do want to join the show live, call me on 2, 4, 6, 0, 2, 0, 5, 8, 2, 4, 6, 0, 2, 0, 5, 8. I'll give you a prompt to call me on. What teaching of the Prophet Peace be upon him has helped you find balance in your life.
Share that with me. 2, 4, 6, 0, 2, 0, 5, 8, or send me a message on WhatsApp 7 to double 4 to 0, 0, 7. Because if you think about it, extreme in anything that you apply, be it in your faith, or in your fitness, or in anything that you're doing, it'll break. You'll stop doing it because it's getting too much. Things have to be done gradually and consistently. The Prophet, peace be upon him, guided people toward moderation. And I believe we have a caller. Assalamu alaikum, rahmatullahi wa rahmatullahi. Wa reekum sallam wa rahmatullahi wa reekum sallam wa rahmatullahi wa reekum sallam wa rahmatullahi. Alhamdulillah, I'm good, how are you? Alhamdulillah, how are you? Alhamdulillah, how are you? Alhamdulillah, thank you so much for calling. I felt like today is the day that I was doing. May it be the first day of many, insha Allah. So tell me what. I've been enjoying these under way back home from work every day. Alhamdulillah, I'm glad to be your companion there, in the traffic.
Oh Alhamdulillah I'm glad to be your companion in the traffic. You have been the best companion. So what has called you, what would you like to share with us today? Regarding the question you were asking and now why is a Dean in Dunya? Well basically, if everything is good with your Dean, that will reflect in your Dunya as well. Very true. If you do well in your prayers, you're close to Allah. Be busy, the risk, but see the raha and that will reflect on in every aspect of your life, which is why a Dean comes before Dunya. And as you said, like a six-year-old will be able to answer this. That is a great way of looking at it, but it's not the answer that I wanted. What I wanted, not to say that you were wrong, but the purpose of our creation is to worship Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. So that's why Dean should come first. And even though what you said is right,
but if somebody doesn't realize, they would assume, so if I do everything well in Dean, then my life is going to be free from troubles, from challenges, which is not the case. Yeah. So yeah, but it helps us when we have our Dean, when we're connected, we are always reading Quran, we're reflecting, we're, we're na'am al-bihi. So whatever we learn from the Quran and the prophetic sinna, we apply, it makes us stronger when the challenges do come. We know what to do, we know what do us to say, we know how to heal from that faster and accept that in our life. That's very true. Allahumma wa minna. I mean, I mean, I mean, Allahumma wa minna. I mean, thank you so much, you stop rock for calling. Is there anything else you wanted to add? No, that's what I wanted to say. Okay, JazakAllah, and I look forward to you joining the show in Shalom and future episodes. Thank you so much for recording, you're welcome.
Thank you so much, thank you so much, you stop rock for joining the show and answering that question, which was a beautiful way. To answer it, so thank you so much. If you want to be like a stop rock and join the conversation, see, it's a beautiful conversation and I'm sure a lot learned from a stop rock. You can call us on 24602058, 24602058 or send me a message on WhatsApp. The number is 724207, 724207, 724207. She did answer the question and we kind of talked about it. Why is Dean? So why is Faith then, like, Dean and then Dunya? Faith and then life? But I would love to hear what teaching of the Prophet ﷺ has helped you find balance in your life. Now, remember when I shared the story that I was, although I was asked to teach others to play the violin, I always said no because I knew I didn't have the patience.
And the companions asked many questions when they were the Prophet ﷺ, which was something normal. Some questions were simple, some were deeply personal. And the Prophet ﷺ answered them with patience and there's something that I didn't have then. Sometimes people from the desert, the Bedouins asked blunt questions, but he never humiliated them. He never made them feel like less for asking, or why are you asking this? He dealt with them with patience, with dignity, span of life. He understood their circumstances. And remember that Hadith, where one man asked who is most deserving of my good companionship, the Prophet replied, your mother, and the man asked again, then who? He said your mother. Again, the man asked, okay, and then who? He said your mother. And then, then he said, then your father, the repetition emphasized the importance of honouring mothers.
This is an episode, you know, I gave, I dedicated a whole episode to parents, which is episode seven, if you want to go back and listen to it, which is the door to gender paradise. And you'll find all our previous episodes on any major podcasting platform. As I always remind you, just type, love your life in inshaAllah, we will pop up. Teaching sometimes requires repetition. I think this is where I lost my patience. Alhamdulillah, important truths must be heard more than once. And there is something that I learned during my course of life, is that when you learn something, and even if, you know, if anyone is learning Quran or anything that you're learning, when you repeat it, that is how you retain the information.
So for example, I've learned something about to do it, yeah. And in order for me to really, for the teaching to be really set in my mind, to teach someone else, I have to tell someone else about it. So I can go home and tell my daughters, oh, you know what I learned today, that Tajweed, you have to do this, this, this, and this, and this. And then I go out with my friends and you say, oh, by the way, I learned something interesting today, that Tajweed and this. So you're repeating the same information. The more you repeat, the more it gets stored in your brain, subhanallah. So important truths must be heard more than once. And not only heard more than once so you can retain that information, but also as the one teaching by repeating that information, you retain that information. Which is something that a lot of those who are memorizing the Quran, you might memorize the Quran, but then you need to repeat the ayahs. Why? So we retain them.
May Allah make us all Ya Rabbi, and in you have that intention of learning and memorizing the Quran, may Allah SWT make it easy for us to retain the ayahs with the light of Allah and the information to be able to recite beautifully with Allah. I'm enjoying this as I'm, because I'm learning with you, and I think it's so powerful, Alhamdulillah, to be in this position. Teaching through moments is the next point that I wanted to share. Some of the most powerful lessons come from every day, moments. The Prophet, Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam, used real situations to teach. In this day and age, we call them storytelling. Yeah. For example, he asks his companion, do you know who the bankrupt person is? They said the one who has no money. He replied, the bankrupt of my nation is the one who comes on the day of judgment with prayers
and good deeds, but has wronged others. A powerful lesson here about our character, which is what we are learning about the Prophet, Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam. His character, his attributes, him being trustworthy, being kind, being honest, it's all things that we, as his ummah, as his followers should do. And this hadith clearly, you know, it goes very strongly to highlight that on the day of judgment, anyone with prayers and good deeds, but they wronged others, then there's nothing there to show form because he wronged others. And as I said in one of my episodes, when you have a disagreement with somebody, it's very important to go and ask for forgiveness. It is not enough for you to ask for Allah's subhanate, for Allah's subhanate, to forgive that wrong. You need to go and ask. You need to humble yourself, not only in front of Allah's subhanate, but also in front of the person that you have wronged.
And then there's the hadith, the best among you are those with the best character. At the end of the day, knowledge without character is incomplete. Knowledge without character is incomplete. So you could have the knowledge, but you lack in character. That's, there's something wrong there. So character is very important for us to try our best, to become the best in character, when dealing with others. Let me know what you think is character important. What do you think? Let me know. The number to call is 2460205824602058 or send me a message on whatsapp. The number is 7244207. And I would love as well to hear if there is a moment where you realized that something,
an interaction could have gone easier if this person had better character. I can think of one thing that happened to me recently. I went somewhere and there was a misunderstanding between myself and one of the people working there. And what made me leave is because this person, as I was talking to them, they just talked away. So can you imagine, I'm having this conversation, I'm trying to explain to them what happened. I don't know this person probably had a very long day or something was bothering them, and they just didn't want to take any information, more from me, and they just walked off. And I was like, how can this be? I'm still talking. And it really upset me. And the thing is, I think for me, I could have probably retained my anger, but being in that position where you are trying
to explain to somebody something, and they just walk off. You know what I mean? So for me, if this person just had come down, we could have resolved the matter, and it would have been nothing. But because of the way that they dealt with my reaction and just didn't want to talk to you anymore, and they just walked off, made me upset, and I just left. So that problem was unresolved. But again, if they had, and if I had as well, managed my anger, I could have probably stayed and asked him, you know, to come back and let's finish, but I had had enough at that point, and I said, I didn't want to escalate it any further. I decided to pull myself away from the situation, and then just leave. So think of these things where you could have probably changed your reaction, changed your demeanor, to be more of, you know, trying to be like the puppets on the ice, and I'm trying to be kinder, control your anger, as we learn as well, that we're in moments of anger,
the best thing to do is to leave, because you don't want to say anything that would escalate the situation. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says in one minute, let me just get the ayah, in surat al-Ahzab, in ayah 21. And we've repeated this ayah many times, and it says indeed, in the messenger of Allah, you have an excellent example for, whoever has hope in Allah and the last day, and remembers Allah often. So, you know, it's a constant reminder that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is telling us that the Prophet ﷺ is an excellent example for us to follow, not just in how we worship Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, but in our day to day, life and in our interactions with everybody that we come across. The Prophet ﷺ did not only teach with words, he taught through his example,
may Allah be peace, may Allah peace be upon him. I'm going to take a short break and show Allah, and I look forward to hearing from you, in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, let me know what is a moment where you think, or what is a moment where you think people could have applied one of these things in their character to avoid a situation, or share with me whatever comes up for you as you're listening to the episode today. The number to call is 246-02058, 246-02058, or send me a message on WhatsApp, 72-242-0077, 72-242-007, right after this break and show Allah. You're listening to Love Your Life, guided by the Prophet, peace be upon him, on 90.4 Armanifam. Stay tuned, we'll be right back. You can call us on 246-02058.
We would love to hear from you. Welcome back to Love Your Life, on 90.4 Armanifam, about the attributes of our beloved Prophet, peace be upon him, but this time as a teacher. I would like to hear what you think, how can we revive prophetic teachings in our home and communities? What do we need to do? What is lacking? Please call me on 246-02058, or send me a message on WhatsApp, 72-242-0077, 72-242-007. Okay, so this question could be difficult to answer, but really, it isn't? I know the answer,
but I don't want to tell you, I want you guys to be part of the show. And you know what to do. I've just shared the numbers. Think of teaching, think of one teaching of the Prophet, peace be upon him. You want to practice more. Starting today, inshallah. Could it be patience, like your sister needs patience? Could it be kindness? Could it be honesty? Could it be gratitude? For reflecting what I could use personally, I think I could always be more patient. Patient in allowing somebody to speak, finish their sentence, if you've listened to my previous episodes, you know what I'm talking about? Saying hello, more often, because as I mentioned, Uthina yesterday, we feel that people are very quiet. Nobody says salam anymore, so I'm trying to do that.
Being kind is something that we always need. Kindness is a beautiful language that doesn't need words. All it needs is action. In words sometimes, but action has a greater impact. Honesty. Honesty is a tricky one, but try always to be honest. Even if you've done something wrong, always on up, because, because the truth always comes out. If not now later, then means from all that time, you've been dishonest, which you lose trust, and it's not a prophetic guidance. Gratitude. Be grateful to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for everything in your life, especially the things you take for granted. Knowledge becomes meaningful only when it becomes action. Summarizes these points beautifully. Everything that we're sharing on love your life, especially on guided with the Prophet,
is just knowledge for you, until it becomes action. When you take action to follow through, on whatever it is that you have learned, and this applies to everything that you learn, not only as you're listening to the show, but in your workplace, things you do at home with your kids, when you learn Quran, when you learn more about the Sunnah, but especially when you learn about Quran and the Sunnah, because the knowledge is there for you to take action. It does not suffice for you just to have that knowledge, and just say, oh yeah, I know that, but then you don't act upon it. So you only know half of it, because you don't take action towards changing the, you know, your personality towards this. Do you agree with that? Let me know. 2460-2058 is the number to call to be part of the show, or send me a message on message. Yes. 724-2007,
724-2007. The Prophet, was not only a messenger, as we all know, he was a leader, a teacher, as we are focusing on today, a father, a husband, he was a mentor of hearts, he transformed society through teaching, not through force, but through wisdom. And can you imagine, if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala hasn't, didn't give the Prophet ﷺ these qualities, we wouldn't have Islam today. It is through the beautiful character of the Prophet ﷺ, is the reason why Islam spread and the actions that were taken after learning, subhanAllah, everything that we learn about our Islam, had the greater impact and therefore people continued to join
until this day, inshaAllah, Islam is one of the fastest-growing religion in the world. Alhamdulillah, Arabic. Allah reminds us, in Surat, I believe, Al-Amran, verse, and 159, Ahmed is already lowering the voice of the things so I can recite, I can't, I'm not reciting, I am listening to this verse, which is 159, didn't I share this earlier? So I'll just remind you of it, by the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, you were gentle with them. So gentleness, made his teaching effective. In every moment in our life, there is always a teaching moment. And this is something that as well, we learn through our challenges. Every challenge that we go through is a teaching moment for us. As long as we are aware, that, oh,
what am I supposed to learn here? Again, another thing I learned, we spoke about with Tina's episode yesterday. By the way, I've mentioned this episode so many times and I've failed to tell you what episode this is. This is the one I'm referring to with Tina, is guided by the Prophet Salallahu alayhi wa sallam with Tina, which is episode 12, which is already available on our podcast. So every challenge that we go through is a moment for us to reflect on what we need to learn. I didn't understand this for the longest time, which was why when I had or was going through a challenge, it was always difficult for me, because I never understood why I was being challenged one, to what am I supposed to do with this now? And three, how is it changing me? Is it making me a better person? Is it making me not a better person? Is it making me grateful? What is the teaching behind that,
the teaching moment? And it's, you know, when you listen to episodes such as this one, you realize that everything in life is a lesson. Every teaching moment that you learn, as long as you're aware that this is a teaching moment and you learn from that and apply it, then you'll notice that the challenge won't come again, because suddenly now it makes sense as to why this kept coming. And then once you have learned for yourself that this happened to you for a reason, you've understood the lesson. Finally, after all those challenges that you've been through, it is now your turn to teach others. It could be your friend. If they come up with a similar situation, then you say, aha, aha, aha, hold on, hold on. I know what this is and what is the lesson behind it. So, you know, you're constantly a teacher,
a student, a teacher, a student. You're a student of your own life. You're a servant to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala by learning all these things. Then you become a teacher by teaching others. And they reward it as well, you know, as we said before. Anything that you teach and others benefit from will continue in insha'Allah to be written in your book of good deeds and insha'Allah even after you leave this life. And it applies to anything. You know, my darling sisters, even if it's a recipe, and there's so many sisters, now that it's all I'm done, you know, when you go to somebody's house and say, oh, Masha'Allah, it's very good. Can you give me the recipe? And they're very diplomatic. And they're going, no, just do this and just cut this. But they don't really teach. They're telling you, but they're not really telling you, you know what I mean? So, here, change of this. It's okay if another sister makes this dish and it's the same as yours or it's a bit better, because you'll get the reward. Remember your intention. Get the reward, you'll teach her.
Masha'Allah, so then insha'Allah, it's considered like a Sadaqajal, because you're teaching her something. And then insha'Allah, to go in your book of good deeds. So, it's little things that we do. Yeah, that make the huge impact in our lives. Thank you so much for being part of the show. It's always an honor and a blessing. As always, we'll close with Adora and insha'Allah before we end the episode. O Allah, teach us what benefits us. Allow us to follow the guidance of your beloved messenger. Peace be upon him. Make us people who seek knowledge and live by it. And allow us to revive prophetic character in our homes, in our communities, and our hearts. Allahma amin. Jazakum Allah khair.
