When you really need care, you need 24-7 access to a care team, not a maze of paperwork from a third party. Every day, America's hospitals and health systems show up for you. Navigating healthcare can fuel overwhelming. But you can count on real doctors, real nurses, real people, providing quality around the clock care when you need it most. They're in your corner. In communities across America, your neighbors, your lifelines, right beside you holding your hand and helping find answers. That's what putting patients first actually means. Learn more at strengthinhealthcare.org. Brought to you by the Coalition to Strength in America's Health Care. All-profoundation repair. Thank you, Connor. Here is Peter. It's time to talk Oscars. All right. That happened yesterday, right? So much Oscar watching. Did you watch it last night? I watched the opening monologue because I'm a big Conan fan. Are you? Okay. I think I think he did a really good job.

And I thought my favorite moment was at the very end where they announced somebody comes up to him. The guy from one battle. Have you seen one battle after another twice? They essentially reenacted the final scene with Sean Penn in the office. Okay. By telling Conan he had been announced as the all-time host of the Oscars and he had his new office. So they walk him down the hall. They let him sit in the office. He sits in the chair and he goes, oh, the guy says, oh, Conan, I left my keys. I'll be right back, shuts the door and then the gas starts. That's okay. That's a good. It's a very funny bit. Now, if you haven't seen one battle after another, it would make zero sense. Although I guess now that I think about it, if you just saw that without the context of the movie, I think that would still be funny because you get the point and Conan's humor is self-deprecating to be good. Oh, a hundred percent. Yes, it's, yes, he is great. One, I'd no doubt. I think, I think he is the best host of any of the shows going right now of any of the different award shows.

Didn't he also do, he did another one going gloves or something. He did the Oscars last year. Yeah, he did the Oscars last time. And I believe he did. He's done the Emmys before in the past. That's it. He's done the Emmys. Oh, he's certainly done other ones. But I think the Oscars is now his thing. And it would be shocked, I would be shocked if they, if they didn't have him come back, although they killed him at the end of this one. So maybe not. So obviously the big new, well, first off, how many of the nominations for Best Movie had you seen? I've seen one battle after another, Marty Supreme, Bagonia, sinners, and I fell asleep during Frankenstein. Hmm, interesting. So you saw even more than I did. You didn't see F1? I'm not really a popcorn movie type of summer action movies. Have you seen either of the top gun movies? I've seen the original top gun than you seen F1. That's what I'm, that's what I'm saying. It's a movie that's not like, no, I'm, I'm not kidding. It's literally top gun in an F1 car.

Same movie, but I liked it nonetheless. Okay, very good. So the big one are obviously one battle after another. Paul Thomas Anderson, Best Movie, Best Director, some acting awards, things like that. Did you agree with that choice? I did. It was based on the fact you only saw four of 10 movies. That's fair. The first I saw, I thought it was going to be between one battle and sinners, which I think most people did. I didn't think sinners was going to win. One battle after another is unlike basically any movie I've ever seen before. It was absolutely outstanding. I'm not surprised at all. I thought, and the acting and it was fantastic. It was, it was a great film. No doubt. Okay. All right. Would you have a favorite part? Yeah, but I don't want to spoil anything. All right. Centres walked into this with the most nominations. In fact, I was a bit surprised. I've not seen it. Okay. I tried to go see it because as some people know, I'm kind of a nerd about movie theaters.

And sinners was a movie that was filmed in part in actual true film. IMAX and was being shown at the cinema Mark 17 of our web chapel on the proper official 70 millimeter film IMAX screen. Yeah. But it was impossible to get tickets for it. So I never did get to see it in that. So I was a bit surprised when it walked in with six with like a record set of nominations. It's that good. Is it? Yeah, it's right. Do you describe it as a horror movie? Because I originally thought it was some sort of horror-esque kind of story. There definitely is that element to it. It's really more of a satire about racism, essentially. But oh, my favorite. Yeah. There is some of that to it. It is. Did you ever see from Dustel Don? Yeah. Think of that. Okay. Well, anyway, it did win a lot of its own awards, although it did not win director or a picture, which was the big battle between these two movies actually happening. But it did win.

Michael B. Jordan, obviously, the big thing last night was him winning best actor. Deserve it. Everybody seemed really pleased by that. Did you see the footage of him in an hour signing with his Oscar on the counter? Perfect. Yeah. Perfect. No. And since you haven't seen Seniors, you haven't seen his performance, but he's playing a twin set of brothers. And who was it the other day that said they didn't even realize he was playing the other brother? Oh, he was a Bob that said that. Might have been the invasion, but yeah, maybe. But yeah, he does an absolutely fantastic job in this movie. It also ones for cinematography, best score, best original screenplay, all of that stuff. So I think I do need to see that. I think it's all, I think it's available on HBO. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The great, by the way, so she is only recently appeared on my radar. Michael B. Jordan? No. I'm about to talk about this person. Michael Jordan? No, are you kidding me? I didn't segue well. Jesse Buckley, who won Best Actress for Hamlet.

Now that's not a movie I really have any interest in seeing, but she's obviously been in some things of late and she's obviously in the new movie The Bride, which I have some interest in seeing. But the thing that happened across the other day on YouTube was a video of her performing at a Shnato Conner tribute concert with an Irish symphony. She is Irish. And she's performing Shnato Conner songs. Dude, that lady can sing, like seriously sing. Not too bad. Look at it either. Why do you have to make it about that? See the only thing I can contribute to this part. I just wanted to say that. It's dirty. I know. Does it not awkward when they announced Sean Penn for Best Supporting Actor for One Battle After Another? By the way, the most Sean Penn role of all time. He had his own walk, like he didn't look the same.

He was a different person. Yeah, I just think you can tell that he annoyed everybody on the set by just acting like that 24-7 and passing it off is doing method acting. But anyway, they announced the winner, and he's not there. He has elected not, in fact, whoever was giving out the award, I think says he's either not here or chose not to be here. So I'll be accepting the award on his behalf. And my wife says out loud, if you can't be at the award show, you don't get to win the award. Is she got anything on to? I mean, unless you're like legitimately in the middle of something. It's not the first time this has happened. I know. But Sean Penn just feels like he's being a D-sake. According to people, two anonymous sources say that he was in Europe and then going to spend time in Ukraine. According to people, is it in the magazine or just somebody you talk to? No, no, no. No, E.A. No's people.

That too. I do know people. He's Afghani. He knows people. Yes. But yes, he is. Right. You're not Pakistani? Yes, I'm Afghan. Afghan, that's right. Sorry, I'll get it right. Sorry, E.A. So your Afghani friends told you this story about him being in Europe. No, the people as of the people magazine have said they cited sources that said he went to Ukraine. Wait, you know people that work at a magazine? Just let it go. Sorry. Just like screaming with E.A. Amy Madigan for weapons. Have you seen weapons? Yes, I have. Okay, see, that's another movie that I didn't think I wanted to see. But now I kind of want to see it, especially if she was, because that's obviously the crazy identifiable character out of the movie. Yeah, and I don't want the dress up like her for the opening. Yeah. Good stuff. I liked weapons. It's a unique movie. Okay. The other thing that you said that I am going to pick on you about, you fell asleep during Frankenstein? Yeah, I just didn't finish it. I wasn't at a theater. I was at home. Right.

Because it was on Netflix. Wouldn't it a Netflix movie? It might be. I don't care, remember. But it is. Okay. Yeah, I just didn't finish. I just never picked it back up. Okay. All right. So EA, I know that you, and I know that you do a movie, you were doing a movie podcast, weren't you? Still am. Turn off your mics. Great podcast with sports and entertainment with great. Okay. I did ask you to. Okay. Yes, you did. When you bring it up, that is what he's going to do. Is that my fault? Yes. I walked right into it. Yes. A market ingenious. Of course. Go ahead. Okay. How many of the movies had you seen? To be honest, I've only seen three. That's even less than I've seen. EA. Yeah, I was bad this year. And you host a, you host a movie podcast and you only saw three of the nominated movies. Do you know how ridiculous that is? I like creating do most of the. The hell is going on? I lifted on that part. Creighton. But we talk about. Are you the worst podcast co-host ever in the history of podcasting?

Probably. But I make up for it with a bunch of great comments and talking points. But no, but I was a big fan of one battle after another. And F1. I loved F1. There you go. Can you tell anybody, Mr. Host, of a movie review podcast with the plot of train dreams? Yes. It's about a bunch of Thomas the Appalachian people from what I saw. There's. There's no disrespect. Okay. Hold on. I think I've come into a new game. Are you playing anybody the plot or the story to Bagonia? Oh, I know about Bagonia. Okay. Woman CEO type. It's confidently. Woman CEO type. These two guys think she's an alien so they kidnap her and then shave her head. Okay. Did you, you didn't see that one? I didn't though. Okay. But he knows it. Hamlet? I know about it. It's about the true story about how Hamlet became and it's confusing because they go

back and forth between Hamlet and Hamnet because of the 18 or not the 1800s, but the 1600s they go back and forth. That's a double turkey right there. That is absolutely a double turkey right there. What is Hamnet a reference to, do you know? Hamlet? Okay. The secret agent, do you know that plot? It's about James Bond's Hispanic version of him. Okay. That's probably what I would have said. Because I knew it's a foreign film, but I haven't seen it. Guys of mustache. What's, what athletic endeavor is the movie Marty Supreme about? Oh, ping pong. Timmy Shalame. Shalame. You call him Timmy? Timmy. That's one of the people he knows. Yeah. It is. Okay. All right. Well, you probably better than I thought. The movie that's on the list that I want to see really badly because it looks very emotional and it made me cry is sentimental value. Yeah. I haven't given that one a shot.

The one about the father and daughter moving. Okay. That's what it's about. Yeah. It's, it's one of those emotional probably just want to have a night where you can cry. I need a weepy movie. 100%. Um, yeah. So overall, I thought it was a pretty good turnout and I think the ratings have done really, really well. They also introduced a new category last night. Did you see this? They, I did not realize they never had an award for casting, which seems like an obvious award they would give. Right. And so the woman from again, one battle after another, she won it for casting and she got to go up there and rub it in everybody's face that she did it for the first time. I saw Conan's Joker said that now we're handing out this award for casting. So whoever doesn't win, we're going in a different direction. That's a good joke. I dig it. I dig it very much. So overall, I give the Oscars this year one thumb up. All right. I will say something about the ceremony that kind of bugged me a little bit.

Thank you, yeah. I will say this, the, the thing with the, the producers trying to move everybody out with the speeches and trying to cut them off, I get it if you're trying to make it on time. But like the, the K pop demon hunter winner, uh, when she got on, she was about to give the other guy a chance to talk and they said, nope, and we're going to cut you off and we don't care. And like, that's just wrong. Like, let them speak a little bit. We have so much broadcast time, EA. I'm like, okay, but at least two more seconds. Is that because K pop demon hunter is your favorite movie of all time? Sure. How many times have you seen K pop demon hunter? That's a daddy movie, actually. Oh, a lot of times have you seen it zero, all right, it says zero. I don't. It's the best movie I've seen in a couple of years. It's a drop. That's a great drop. Awesome. All right. There you go. There's your Oscar talk.
