Yeah, we're either getting 4.30 in the afternoon or 8.30 in the evening Which is a little late when you wake up really early, but I'm really anxious to get this series underway because Vegas has the stars as the favorites, but oh so slightly It ought to be a great series But you know, I think this league ought to be ripped the NHL and in the Olympic year where these guys have been playing Game stacked right on top of one another the first half and the second half of the season I was a little stunned just when we thought about it and talked about it with Razor yesterday That it's the Thursday before the weekend and the NHL

So everyone knows For the most part that you're starting that next week and you're not I Feel a little bit for Minnesota on Someone's got to make those travel plans and when you're going to be here It just hit me as really strange that okay playoffs and yeah, we'll let you know when your game starts here in a couple of days Right, that's that's just strange the way they schedule, you know practices and At this point, you're not really practicing you're just having You're just trying to heal heal and you're skating a morning skate, but it's not a big deal But man, not not just for the stars, but this entire league that the schedule they've been playing I think they should have given everyone about five days off You know, I get wanting to have games on the weekend Those are money makers so I understand them wanting to start the playoffs on the weekend, but

Yeah, and then start the playoffs on a Tuesday or Wednesday The odd thing to me about this wild star schedule is that They play game two in Dallas 8 30 at night and Then they will play game three from a Monday game two to a Wednesday game three Then they will get two days off Thursday and Friday before playing game four, but they're staying in Minnesota seems to me that the the space of two games two days between Games should happen when you're traveling Yeah, not when you're stationary staying there. Yeah, so I think they mess that up there But it's easy for us to say I know making a schedule is very difficult. Oh, I'm sure it's a nightmare arena availability and I mean, who knows you may go and be going up against a Bruno Mars concert or something, right?

4:10But just ask AI put all that info in there and ask you that maybe they do that. I don't know Anyway, that's how it looks the first four games We're of course anticipating that this is gonna go much longer than four games game seven Would be on May 2nd at noon at the American Airlines Center. That is a Saturday Okay, so we could be in store for two wild weeks of hockey here or a week and a half of wild hockey here and I love the stars Chances and that I think this is a great team. I think it's Arguably the second best team in the NHL. I think everybody would say Colorado's been the best team this year But as we've talked about the stars have played a lot of hockey Sports odds and postseason odds say they won't get to the Western conference final four years in a row

5:11Having to get through Minnesota and Colorado Again, those three teams in the central arguably the three best teams in the NHL Just a really tough road and if you have a problem with the NHL You may have a problem with the schedule, but how about the way they format their postseason Colorado? It's terrible Gets the LA Kings. They should handle the Kings Kings out of winning record. They're not a pushover, but Colorado should handle the Kings and so that's who the Dallas Minnesota winner would get So if Dallas gets by the wild they get Colorado if they get by Colorado Then they likely will get either the Vegas Golden Knights or the Edmonton Oilers very familiar foes When it comes to playoff time So it's another potentially brutal road for the stars to the Stanley Cup final This has been Quite the season 112 points. That's the third most in franchise history 46 one-goal games as we talked about with razor

6:14Yesterday that that also indicates This is going to be a very close series. That's just been The way all their games have gone and they've had some great stretches. They've had Some head scratching stretches where you think man. What's wrong with the stars, but then they bounce back and Yeah, it's just I don't really don't know what to expect out of this team outside of what they've shown us the last three years There is a real grid about this team and this this team really seems to be Gritty the way they can fight through injuries and they're going to have to do that again At least in the first round this year Yeah, it looks like rope hints is going to be out for a while maybe the whole series at least certainly the first part of it And that's why I think this is quite possibly the best regular season. I've ever seen out of a Dallas stars team All those close games all the injuries and all the hockey they've played in the previous three seasons and they still

Yeah, you know quite the opposite of last season where they lost seven in a row I think it was going into the postseason So they are so good They could win the West. I don't think that would surprise anybody But I do worry about the amount of hockey they've played Catching up with them. I don't think you'll see it in this series. I think you would see it down the road Maybe you would see it late in this series if it's a really tight physical series goes seven Maybe it catches up with them then But I worry about that and I just worry about sports odds Now maybe sports odds don't matter in this town because the odds say the Cowboys would have made it to the NFC Championship game a few times in the last 30 years and that hasn't happened The odds say the stars won't make it back to the Western conference final four years in a row But maybe odds don't matter in this town Yeah, what were the odds that the Rangers were going to win the World Series
