The lesson of humility

There's a parable in the Gospels that reminds us that if we are not humble, we're likely to be taken down a notch too. Not only do I think that's a good lesson in general, I think it's especially important in today's climate. Hello there everyday Americans Paul Engel here at the Constitution Study where we read instead of the Constitution, teachers and generations be free. I'm glad you joined me today. If you're not familiar, the parable is one of a showing up as a guest to a wedding. Jesus says, don't go right to the head of the table. Take a

1:06lower spot. Don't assume that you're the most important person to be there. So just feel a little more humble. Assume that someone else is going to come that is maybe a little, I don't say more important, I guess I might want a higher position. In other words, you'd much rather be a guest that is, oh no no, please come to the head of the table. Then someone at the head table saying, hey, why don't you go find yourself a table somewhere else? That actually happened to me, not through my arrogance with someone else's mistake. And it's rather humiliating to be offered a seat at one of the higher tables only to be later asked to move to a lower table. Get not because of anything I had done. I had been invited to that table. Someone else took my seat, but that's not the point. The point is, it's a general idea of humility, not thinking too highly of yourself. And I think we're seeing some

2:12instances where, well, maybe people haven't learned that lesson and they're getting to pay for it. For example, how many of you remember the the raid on Mar-a-Lago, right? The investigation into Trump, retaining classified documents. And again, the unprecedented action of raiding a former president's home was, well, apparently not the only thing that was going on. It's recently at least 10 FBI employees who worked on former Special Counsel Jacks Misinvestigation Donald Trump have been fired. According to Reuters, reported that the FBI had subpoenaed the records of phone calls made by now director FBI director Cashmattell and White House chief of staff Susie Will's when they were both private citizens as part of Smith probe into Trump.

3:14According to a quote by Reuters, Mr. Patel alleged that the FBI had secretly subpoenaed his phone records using flimsy pretext and bearing the entire process in prohibited case files designed to evade oversight. Now, Reuters said that they had not independently verified any of these claims, but this is what Mr. Patel has said. Also, according to the report, Mr. Patel did not provide evidence of wrongdoing by the staff who were terminated. Again, I point out something very important. This is based on a subpoena. This was not a warrant. And I have a lot of problems with law enforcement subpoenas because there's no, there's no check and balance to it. This is not, you know, we didn't go to a judge and say, Hey, um, you know, we've got probable cause. You've got an author and affirmation supporting that probable cause to go searching. That is what makes it a warrant valid, which is what makes the search reasonable.

4:17Now, again, the reason that law enforcing gets away with these subpoenas is thanks very much to the Supreme Court and what they refer to as a third party doctrine. The idea is that records about your records that you put into a, the possession of the third party have no fourth amendment protections. So that, um, you know, the, the, the subpoena was not delivered to Mr. Patel, but to his, partly his wireless phone carrier. And since the carrier created the data, it's their data. They can do it with what they wish. There's no legal penalty for them turning this over. And there's really no upside for them fighting it. So this is the type of stuff that happens. But again, Patel said they had no reason for it. And that was apparently an issue of bad conducts. Now, the FBI agents association, the union for the, for these agents, um, they condemned the firing go figure. They said the FBI violated employees due process rights, which I find rather humorous since

5:20these agents are accused of violating the due process rights of, at that time, private citizens. The, uh, uh, an statement that the groups had these actions weak in the Bureau by stripping away critical expertise and destabilizing the workforce, undermining trust and leadership and jeopardizing the Bureau's ability to meet its recruitment goals, ultimately putting the nation at greater risk. Uh, what, what, what about the accusations of coming up with subpoenas on private citizens records with allegedly flimsy reasons? I mean, you would think the purpose of the FBI is, well, granted, understand, this is a union. They're probably their primary goal is simply to keep more people employed because that's how they get dues and they keep running, which explains why they're more interested in, apparently, the Bureau's recruitment goals, than whether or not somebody they represent actually potentially broke the law by, um, committing an illegal search on private citizens. Now, could this be, uh,

6:22retribution by the Trump administration on people that participated in the, um, investigation, which, as more and more gets exposed, it's just nothing more than a, a political witch hunt against Mr. Trump. Um, again, they had no evidence of actual crimes. They actually, at the same FBI that, uh, was all over Donald Trump for having records that were being negotiated with the National Archives, where, that were being protected by the Secret Service and where the Secret Service implemented security, additional security at the request of the National Archives as criminal and evil, Mr. Biden, uh, having items that he could not legal, never could legally declassify in a box next to his, his corvette in his garage. No, no, that, that doesn't lead to, to anything. Yeah, um, I'm sorry, this, this, this whole thing just is, is a mess, uh, especially after the San

7:24Judiciary Committee revealed that the FBI, well, they had the records of several lawmakers, most of them are Republican for some reason. I wonder why the FBI was going after these lawmakers. Could it be because they were Republicans? Could it be that this was a, just again, another, just a, a, a political witch hunt? Hmm. Also, a couple of weeks ago, uh, FBI, current FBI director, Cash Patel, uh, says that, uh, the FBI has uncovered what the, I said, the funding sources for these antifil organizations, um, that have been dealing, you know, creating, formatting these, quote, unquote, unpeaceful demonstrations. Mr. Patel wrote in a post on X, whether it's antifa or any other violent criminal organization, we know their operation doesn't exist alone. They operate with heavy funding streams. Now, it really shouldn't surprise

8:24you or surprise me, but, um, he suggests, apparently, that these are left wing movements that are funding these, uh, violent demonstrations, uh, in an interview with his former deputy director, uh, uh, Dan Bongino, he said, money doesn't lie following the money is, you know, that they're following the money and they're starting to arrest people who use their funds to incite violence in the guise of political peaceful protests. Now, the first thing I want to notice, I have yet to see any evidence that the FBI knows. This is, well, you have a testimony, but again, without evidence, that's just his word, his, his opinion, you may trust his word, you, you may not, but that's not evidence. And when he talks about these things, he implies, he doesn't actually identify, as far as I can tell, who is funding these, uh, these demonstrations? Now, even though he said, what's it

9:28last year, uh, in an interview with the Epic Times, that the FBA is mapping out the entire Antifa network, we still don't have data, which doesn't mean that, that they don't know. No, it doesn't mean they don't know. It doesn't mean that I trust that they do know, or even who those groups and organizations are, because again, while all the groups may be left-leaning, that I doubt it's all the left-leaning groups. See, there's, to me, just a little bit of, of political spinner. And, you know, oh, I'm going to, uh, I'm not sure what I'm saying is, I wouldn't step out on a limb based on this information. I think it's plausible, but without evidence, am I willing to trust it? That's really the kind of the point I'm getting here. If the point is, you know, hey, I know this information, I'm going to go to the, to the, to the head of the line, to have a, maybe not, because I'm not sure that there's actually anything behind this yet,

10:30because again, you're dealing with now a person in a political appointed office, which means they're a politician. It's, they're bureaucrat. Cash Patel is not an FBI agent. He's a bureaucrat. Now, I may agree with him on a lot of things, but I'm, again, are you willing to put your reputation on the line with that? And that's kind of what I want to get to today is this idea of the humility of knowing what you do have and what you don't have. Right? Understanding, hey, 10 FBI agents were arrested. I should, I should say, were fired, not arrested. Sorry, they were fired. That happened to be involved in this, you know, was it Arctic Frost or whatever, trying to go after a former President Trump? Am I sure that they did anything wrong? No. Am I sure this is a political hit job? No. So with all humility, I'm like, going, okay, this is interesting, but I need more data. I need more information in which to build trust that something is really, really here, not just, you know,

11:35oh, well, the Senate Judiciary Committee, oh, you're telling me a group of politicians told me something. You told me a group of Republican politicians told me something about something that happened under a Democratic administration. Yeah, I'm not betting the farm on that one. You're telling me that the target of one of those things, the alleged target of spying, right? The FBI going after the phone records of Mr. Patel again, with a subpoena where according to Mr. Patel, there wasn't any, any real basis for this, but they did it anyway. It was a phishing expedition. Again, where's your evidence, Mr., Mr. Patel? Where's the evidence FBI? And now, Mr. Patel is saying, oh, I know where all this money's coming. Again, until you tell me where you got that infinity improvement, all we have is your words, your opinion. Remember, here at the Constitution study, we got four pillars.

12:38It's only an opinion until someone provides facts. An expert opinion is still only an opinion until someone provides facts. Original sources or boss, you know, not just because he said so. And again, check your sources. Maybe you believe something that didn't have the evidence, it really deserved. And that's, you know, kind of the basis of the humility to say, hey, I don't know. I may be wrong. This may be incomplete. That's the level of humility, I think, in the long run, serve not just the American people, but us individually quite well. Now, again, if you're talking about hubris, the lack of humility, well, there's no better place to look than government actors, especially in Washington, DC. But I think, again, it's a lesson we can all learn. And I have some more examples. Some stories that that, well, show hubris, and sometimes

13:45maybe even somebody getting caught in that humerus, but that's going to have to wait. I do have a break coming up. But before I go, I do want to mention this. 21:04looking at, well, a lack of humility. Shoobers. Again, one of the places, if you're looking for hubris, point your glasses towards Washington, DC, because there's nothing no better way to find hubris than, well, to look at a politician. I got a couple examples for you. So, of course, we recently had the state of the union theater. This is not in a dress. This is a political stump speech. This is, this is all political theater, right? The Constitution requires at the present, notify Congress, deliver to Congress, not a speech, just a state of the union. It didn't become this show until after we invented radio and then television became a whole, again, production event. Now, of course, you've got the president. He's got his whole agenda and his speech. And of course, that's all it's a stand-up routine. He's, you know, manipulating his audience through timing and cadence and story and all that. But the show doesn't end at the podium.

22:07We see the show in the audience. And I found these two examples interesting. Let's start with the guest of a Massachusetts representative, Seth Molten. He invited a gentleman Marcelo Gomez De Silva. He had been detained by ICE after overstaying a student visa. In other words, he is in this country illegally. He had a student visa to come study that visa expired. He stayed and he got caught by ICE. He was detained by ICE. I guess he was out. I'm not sure all the details. And Representative Molten said, hey, I know. Let's bring him to one of the highest security events in the nation, the state of the union event, where we have not only the executive branch, but the majority of the legislative branch of government in one room. This is like, you know, security nightmare. Let's bring a someone who's already been detained by ICE. Now, somehow Mr.

23:16Silva was brought into the congressman's office after DHS was notified that he was in the country illegally. And according to a post on X and a later statement, during last night, state of the United States, inside the US Capitol, a decision was made out of an abundance of caution to pull Congress and Molten's guest, Marcelo Gomez De Silva, from the House gallery audience after the official government account for the Department of Homeland Security issued this tweet at a 24 PM Eastern time targeting harassing Marcelo. This was from Molten's communications director. Now, all right. First, number one. All right. Okay. You're showing up to an event and you bring a guest. If you're bringing an illegal alien, it kind of seems like a lot of hubris to me. If that's

24:16what you're going to, they said he was, he was, they harassed him. He is a criminal. He, I mean, he's already been detained by a DHS why he's out in the first place. We don't know other than probably some, you know, crazy, since this is done by a Massachusetts representative, I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Gomez De Silva was illegally residing in Massachusetts. I mean, this is all, this is all show. And this, by the way, is apparently what the dissident, Mr. Molten's office describes as harassment. He was escorted from the House gallery by a staff member of the representative. He was brought to the representative's office where he sat and watched the remainder of the speech from there. That was a harassment. We don't want this person in the gallery. But here's the other one. So, so the, the representative claims that Marcelo has been in the nice sense

25:17since he was six years old, zero criminal record. Well, stop. Time, time, time. He overstayed a student visa. All right. Now, I don't know how you get a student visa at six years old, but maybe he did. That is a crime, Mr. Marcel, being in this country, unexpired visa is a crime. So, when you say zero criminal record, wrong. But this is the type of arrogance and hubris that I pretty much expect from those people who seek office. Now, my other example comes from, well, representative Elon Omar. She invited a guest to the state of the union address. They're perfectly allowed to. And this guest, you may have seen her before. She's the, the Minneapolis activists that the video went viral when I say just dragged her from a car during a ice operations in her home state. Yet they Omar said, let's head over to the, you know, let's hear you car as a guest.

26:20Now, remember, this is a guest in someone else's house, the people's house. And, um, well, now, when I'm a guest in someone's house, my goal isn't really to what show up and, and, and antagonize the host. I don't, I'm, especially if I'm invited by somebody else, right? I got invited to, you know, a couple of years ago, I got invited to a breakfast. I'm not there to show up the person. I'm, I'm a guest. I was taught as a child to act as a guest. The problem is this guest, apparently, never learned that lesson. Now, according to Ms. Omar, she said, my guest, Aliyah ramen stood up silently in the gallery during the president's speech for a short period of time, part of which other guests were also standing. For that, she was forcibly removed despite warning officers about her injured shoulder and ultimately charged with unlawful conduct. Oh my god. Notice a couple things up. This gun come important. She stood up for a short period

27:25of time, part of which other guests were also standing. Meaning she wasn't standing, it wasn't like everybody was standing to applaud and she was standing with them. No, no, no. Sometimes she was standing even when other people weren't standing as well. Now, of course, Ms. Omar went on. She said, the heavy-handed response to a peaceful guest sends a chilling message about the state of our democracy. I'm calling for a full explanation of why this arrest occurred. All right, let's look at the other side of the story, see if this makes sense. By the way, Ms. Omar, we're a republic not a democracy. I know you get confused with that, but 10-year marches anyway. What do you care? All right, let's see. On the state of the Union ticket, right? There's a, I can apparently, to get in, you get a ticket. And on the ticket, it says that demonstration is prohibited. All right, you're not allowed to demonstrate in the gallery. That's prohibited.

28:26The guest was told to sit down, but refused to obey our lawful orders. That's from the capital police. They provided the state of mother to New York Times. I said, okay, first of all, Ms. Omar was incorrect when she said that she was, again, okay, she was, she was peaceful, but she was removed because she was demonstrating. She was ordered to sit down. She refused. Therefore, she was removed. Okay, she was warning about her injured shoulder. I don't know if the office, how the officers active about the, but if she was resisting being removed, isn't that kind of her fault as well? See, this is the, the hubris that I get to bring, now you know, do I get to bring somebody? Again, I have no problem with her bringing this person. That person acted improperly. The ticket clearly said no demonstration. She

29:32stood up in demonstration. She should really not be surprised that she was asked to leave the, the gallery. And apparently when she refused, she was removed. I'm trying to figure out what the no, it's the hubris of because I'm Elon Omar. And I'm, you know, I'm a representative in and the rules don't apply to me. The rules don't apply to my guests. And how dare you actually enforce the law? But then again, she doesn't want to laws enforce against illegal aliens. So why should I be surprised if she wants that she doesn't want laws enforce against her guests? Now, my guess if it wasn't a, or her guest, if it was say a Republican demonstrator, maybe her response would have been different. But then again, that's an assumption. I don't know for sure what I do know is it shows, again, arrogance of Ms. Omar and of her guest. And just a little

30:35bit of comeuppance. And I'd love to tell Ms. Omar, you know what? Maybe the leadership of the house should ban Ms. Omar from bringing guests to the next state of the union. Because that's again, when you bring somebody as a guest, you hold some level of responsibility for their actions, not directly, but indirectly. So maybe Ms. Maybe that'd be a nice sanction from Ms. Omar. You know, okay, you're not, you're not allowed to bring guests. You don't get no more guest tickets to state the union addresses at the, at the Capitol. Since I've mentioned illegal events, I got to play this clip. This is Senator Schumer during an interview with Ms. Now. Remember they call it MSNBC, which I love you. Ms. LSD, I thought I worked out. Now they call themselves MS now as if that's supposed to make them any MS better. But listen to this, his response to this question about how to deal with illegal immigrants. What would an immigration deal look like between

31:38Republicans and Democrats in the Senate? Well, we had a good model in 2013, as you may remember, bipartisan. John McCann and I headed the gang of eight. We had four Democrats, four Republicans, including Marco Rubio, who's now gone to the other side on this. But we could come up with a bill like that. It toughens up the border. It gives a path to citizenship, a long tough path to citizenship for 11 million people who are here. It allows high tech people who are needed in our industries to come in. But it's, it's, it was a bill that got 70 votes in the Senate or 68 or 69. It got Democrats and Republicans. That's the way to go. And it was an object failure. Because, oh, okay, first of all, it's like we're going to reward people for breaking the law. That didn't work really well because what happens? We ended up with another huge influx of them. Are you saying every 10, 15 years, we just turn around and wipe the slate clean and let

32:43and not punish people for breaking our laws? He talks about bipartisan. Yeah. Well, what I warn you about bipartisan bipartisan bills means both sides are after your wallet. And that's part of this. This idea will just continue to invite people to come in illegally. And when the Democrats are in power, and then when they're not in power, they'll demand, okay, amnesty, amnesty, everybody gets a free slate. I don't know. I don't know if this is arrogance, if this is hubris, or this just insanity. Because as Albert Einstein said, doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome is a definition of insanity. That seems to be Schumer's playbook. I mean, we tried it under Reagan. They've tried it. Was it was Reagan did one? Didn't Clinton do one? And again, he's talking about the 2013, which would have been Obama. And they just, they never

33:44fixed the problem. They claim, well, we'll strengthen the border, except they did everything they could to stop to not fund the strength of the border that he claims his bill was about. So yeah, no, Mr. Schumer, I don't trust you as far as I could throw you. I don't think I'd trust you as far as I could throw you New York City apartment building. But no, it's this is the hubris of I'm going to do what I want. And you know, when it's it's my way, I mean, this is a variation of my way or the highway. If your answer to a an immigration problem is just every so often when you can get enough votes, have amnesty and pretend that that works. No, I say, no, amnesty for you, no, amnesty for your party. It's no, amnesty for for these. If you want amnesty, you go, you voluntarily go across the border, you voluntarily go back home and then apply to come into this country. That is the only

34:44amnesty. I would, I would, that's the only amnesty I would offer. You got to leave first of your own volition. You get caught and shipped out your band. Now, does that always work? No, it doesn't always work. But if anything that we should have learned in 2025 is that it's real simple for the federal government to control our borders when you don't have mass amnesty idiots setting policy. When the president actually does their job to enforce the law, well, these, these, the, the mass immigration, legal immigration disappears. It's only when you have people that don't believe in the United States that don't think we're special that don't think there's a reason why we control our borders. That's only time we have these immigration problems. This Mr. Schumer is not a, a compromise. This is a hostile takeover or at least an attempt at one.

41:05Welcome back everybody. American Jury. Join the Constitution. Say today we're talking about a lack of humility. A level of hubris. And wow. If you want to see hubris in this day and age other than politics, which is pretty much loaded with it. Well, just look at the transgender community. I find a clip of this video of a comedian. You can't see this. Let me describe it. This is obviously a dude. It's kind of a bit. He's been overweight. It's about as obviously a dude. As Paul. He's got a little long hair. He's got to address. But it's it's obviously a dude playing a woman. And well, listen to this while he was on stage. I think that's true. I think that like we've experienced the last like handful of years. We're at France. We've tried to get our acceptance by being nice, being accessible, being the kind of person that you should would be comfortable with, you know, having your babysitting your kids or whatever. I think we should start killing kids.

42:12And tell me, let us use whatever bathroom they want. Now, all right. This is a comedian. He's being hyperbolic. I'm assuming he's being hyperbolic. But it's, let me just, what are you saying? He said they've tried to just accept us. No, they have not. They have demanded. We use the pronouns they want. They've demanded that they use the bathroom facilities. They've made all these demands. There is nothing. Well, first of all, there is no way I'm letting this dude babysit my grandchildren. I don't have a grandchildren yet. But there's no way I would let this dude say, run the nursery in our church, right? No way. No way whatsoever. I'm not letting a transgender person do that. Because I already know they're mentally unstable. And they have issues. They shouldn't be around, in my opinion, small children. So your abject failure there. But all we've done is try to be accepted.

43:13No, all you've done is try and pose your insanity on the rest of the world. Now, then they take it. Well, we should just start killing kids. They let us use our own bathrooms. Again, I admit this is a comedian. He's being hyperbolic. I'm not saying that he's, that that, he's calling. But apparently based on some recent history, we had the shooting up in Nashville. We had a couple of recent school shootings that turn out to be people who are mentally disturbed. Transgenderism is a mental disorder. They have been involved in a lot of shootings lately, including shooting children. Now, I'm not saying they're following his direction. I'm just saying it, it, it maybe he's in humor exposing a, a dark underside to this, this transgender movement that says they have the humorist. If I don't get my way, it's worth killing people over. Now, this leads me to another story. This one from the state of New

44:13Hampshire, where a gentleman from, uh, from Manchester, Hampshire tried to cross, was trying to cross the border. Uh, well, let me, let me describe this from the news program. That's right, Aaron. And investigators say 26 year old, the blue Zeke daily, also known as Colin Zeke daily, Sean at the agent last weekend, according to a criminal complaint, daily was pulled over in Stewart's town Saturday night when a border patrol agent asked daily if they use any other names. Daily allegedly drove away. The agent followed at a distance until daily arrived at the border crossing in Pittsburgh just after midnight Sunday. That's when the agent activated his emergency lights and got out of the vehicle. Investigators say daily then fired at him. The agent returned fire back hitting daily, who was taken to the hospital for treatment. The border agent was not hurt and the FBI is now leading this investigation. Now, you should understand that there is a city

45:14called Pittsburgh, New Hampshire that's on the border with Canada. I know when I first heard about this, I think Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. No, Pittsburgh, New Hampshire. And this story said, what does this have to do with what you've been talking about? You have a person who has multiple names, names, by the way, apparently, of different genders who was stopped. And when asked if they had any other aliases, drove off. And then they, uh, we're, you know, when they were stopped at the border or stopped approaching the border, um, they decided to shoot it out. And not again, I'm not saying the transgenderism caused this, but if you've already got a person that's mentally disabled, uh, maybe this wouldn't be such a far stretch either. Now, it doesn't necessarily, like it doesn't necessarily mean that that's the, the agenda behind it, but it seems to be a more recurring pattern lately, which brings me the obvious question. Why are more and more shooters

46:18that we're seeing being identified as transgender? Is it the simple statement of, well, they've already got a mental disorder. Perhaps that leaves them more emotionally ready to take a human life. I don't know. But the, the arrogance, the, the hubris of you must accept me as I am. Well, that's, that's kind of way the whole LGBT movement is. You have to accept me. Um, I, I, I met up with a friend of mine, a guy I used to work with. And after I had left the company, uh, we were having lunch together and he told me a story about one of our customers, who completely out of the blue, right? Never would have noticed I knew this customer. I dealt with him many, many times. Suddenly decided he was a sheep. And actually filed a complaint against my former partner because in an email, he referred to him as he, even though we had no, he had no idea that he transitioned. So it wasn't like he was trying to be, he, he, I sent him an email,

47:21he'd met to, met him or didn't know, but he got all bent out of shape that I, that my partner didn't magically know that he'd, quote, unquote, transitioned. And that's the craziness. That's the hubris of the world is supposed to know who I am, even when it makes no logical sense, no reasonable. So deep when it's just plain crazy. Now I, I like to say the craziest and contagious, but sometimes I wonder, take the example of Sarah Elizabeth is George of Boise, Idaho. She is accused of stealing an ambulance, uh, those parked outside of a, of a hospital, running it into the lobby of the DHS building, um, spreading gasoline throughout the lobby and attempting to set it on fire before she fled on foot. Now according to the city police chief, um, investigators were able to identify her after some, as he referred to as good old fashion police work. And they

48:22were able to, um, to capture her. And she's now, uh, being charged federally with malicious destruction of government property by fire and damaging property, involved in an interstate, involved in interstate commerce, not quite sure where the interstate commerce comes in, but so she is currently being held and charged and it's like, okay, what does that have to do with, with arrogance? Well, it's the arrogance of, you know, DHS is evil, it must be burned down. That's a level of arrogance we've seen in, in a lot of these demonstrations that, um, you know, how, how dare you actually enforce the law? DHS, let's shut down DHS even though it doesn't shut down ice. I mean, this is just, this is the arrogance that we've seen. And then this piece showed up. See, the, uh, they looked at the social media posts of this Miss George here and guess what? She apparently is an LGBTQ activist. Oh, does that sound familiar?

49:24I mean, why, and I bring it back to that question, why are so many of these violent stories? Is it just a storage or getting attention now? Is it the fact that the, that the, the, the, the transgenders are, is, is, is, is accused? Is that why it's getting so much attention? Or is there something else going on? Has this insanity risen to a level where there is no humility anymore? There is no, you know, maybe I'm wrong. There is no, I live and let live. There is, you must comply with my idea of reality or else. And again, that's the, the level of cubers. That's a lack of humility. Listen, she wants me an LGBTQ activist. Be my guest. You can activate eyes for anything you want. You can ask for anything you want. You cannot demand anything you want. See, an activist means you promote something. When you demand, you've gone from activists to tyrant. And that is the hubris I'm seeing. Again, not just in the LGBTQ community. I see it in

50:27the illegal alien supporters, as we saw with, uh, you know, our two lovely members of the US House, um, one of which brought in an illegal alien, one of which brought in an activist is just, yeah, you were, I can, I can bring whoever I want. Uh, we see it in the, uh, in the hubris, we, of the previous administration that I can go after my political enemies and use my powers of government to do so. This is hubris. And the question is, see, the problem with hubris is if it is not checked by its own fall, it tends to grow. You know, you have Schumer saying we need, we need to make a more amnesty. Well, every time we've done amnesty in the past, it showed that, hey, I was right. I was my demand to be in here. I have a right to be here. That hubris grows. And it's grown every time. And we're supposed to do it again. Now, I'm not saying that there aren't people that have, that, that, that do bad things or that there aren't people who kill others,

51:31you know, but you don't see it so much in the communities that generate more humility. The thing I love, you know, people always say, you know, more guns will be more in crime. They'll be peeing. It'll be, it'll be Dodd city and people shooting each other in the street over, over, you know, parking a little slots or road rage. And the thing is it just doesn't seem to happen. It, it's almost like knowing people are on me. I'm going to be polite because I may not get the response that I want. But this hubris is lack of humility, even with, and I'm, with all the computers, I see it on Republicans and Democrats. I see it with the Marxists. I see it with the conservatives, this, the capitalist, this idea of, I must be right. And I must enforce my ideas on others. That's hubris. Pride come with before a fall. That's a level of pride. Now, I, I'm pretty sure I'm right. Um, I may be wrong. And that's the important, that's the difference.

52:32hubris says, I'm no, I'm right. Humility says, you know what? But I may be wrong. So I think I'm but I may be wrong. And that is how liberty works. I may be right, but I don't have the right to tell you that's how you have to live. I may be right, but my disagree with you is not going to lead me to do anything to justify it. To use criminal activity, whether that be the misuse of the FBI or attempting to burn down a DHS building, I'm not going to do that. When I'm an invited guest, I'm going to act like a guest. Even if I disagree with what's being said, I will act like a guest or I will leave because that is what humility looks like. It's not running to the head of the table and demanding your seat there. It's standing back, sitting at the end of the table, the bottom end of the table saying, that's okay. If you want to have your seats up there, be my guest.

53:38Maybe somebody comes in and takes me to a better seat. Maybe not, but I'm okay with that. Because I realize I'm not all that. I have the humility to recognize. I may be wrong. I may be off. And I have to allow you to live differently than I do. Otherwise, liberty means nothing. Freedom means nothing. If I deny other people, the freedom to be different. You have all the right in the world to disagree with me. You don't have any right in the world to demand I comply with your insanity. That I comply with your beliefs. That I comply with your idea that laws don't matter. That's the difference between a constitutional public and a tyrannical dictatorship. It's not the people. It's not the people in the pews. It's not the people here and there. It's the people who are willing to allow other people to live life how they see fit.

54:44And can you think of a better way to celebrate the semi-quince and teniel of declaring our own independence from Great Britain that applying those very same ideals to our neighbors, to our those who are of a different political party, to those who disagree with some of our laws, to those who want to show off and show up, let them be, to those who want to think they're, they have a right to damage us. You don't have that right. You have a right to believe differently. You want to wander around and address and look like an idiot? That's be my guest. Don't expect me to don't fight you into my home, much less to babysit our children. No. For freedom to mean anything, it's not the freedom for me to do what I want. It's the I have to allow the freedom for others to do how they want as long as they do not infringe on my rights

55:49or the rights of others. And that is the limit. I think, well, maybe if we spent a little less time trying to push our ideas on others and spend more time humbly trying to convince them. Don't force them. Convince them. Show them why it is so much better. Best thing I can say is give it a try. You'd be surprised how liberating it is to actually live free.
