No. He got to fight with Micah Parsons, and they were debating, like Parsons was claiming that he could do more than Garrett can. And Garrett is like, I had a sack last year at every defensive line position. Look, I played everywhere. What are you talking about? There was a funny interaction back and forth. Jeremy and Joe here on WGR, and part of that is Parsons is a, he's a confident, he's a confident dude. Garrett, I think there should be some trade chatter with him. He reportedly, not reportedly, I think it was confirmed, skipped the Browns first day of their team off season program.

1:02And because of the way the bonuses are set up in Garrett's contract, he is now on track because of skipping that day to lose a $1 million workout bonus. This would be where I don't know the answer to this. I would wonder, what are the Browns options? Are they allowed to give him the $1 million bonus anyway? Can they wave it or like, ah, you know, there was a reason why he wasn't here. We're going to give it to him anyway. Or they're not allowed to because, hey, it's in the contract. You got to be there. If you're not there, this is the way the, the CBA is set up. There's no mechanism for them to just give him the $1 million. That I'd wonder because if they're allowed to just give him the bonus anyway, I feel like this would be Garrett testing the Browns. I'm not happy. I signed up for another year, but everyone knows because I wrote a letter a year ago saying

2:08I was never going to play for the Browns again. And I'm talking there about, I want to be the Super Bowl MVP and this team is nowhere. Everybody knows I'd like to be traded. And the only reason I'm not is because you've been so defiant in that idea and I don't want to fight with you about it. Well now let me test you a little bit because we reworked this contract to make me more tradable. I'm not going to show up. Let's see. What are you going to do? You're still going to give me my million anyway because you want to keep me happy or do you want to start something? Come on. Let's go. Garrett, that's where I'd be like, come on gloves on or I guess, you know, gloves off. Let's see what you got. You want to make this ugly? I'm ready. That's where I'd be if I were Miles Garrett because if I'm Miles Garrett, I got to get out of Cleveland enough. I'm 31 years old. I just set their sack record.

3:09I've never done anything of significance winning. You gave me the money. We set up the contract so that it's tradable. Let's go. Give me out. Maybe this is the first step to that happening. The only thing that's tough is it's such a tough time of year for other teams making that deal. It could happen at the draft. There's still some teams that could do it. New England is one of them. Unfortunately, New England could make that trade. They could fit Garrett in. They could give them a couple of first round picks. You had the Browns proposing five draft picks, five years of picks being proposed to. Like this deal, the potential of this deal has to be on their mind. I know they're talking about we'd never move them. We'd never trade them. We're not even talking about it. They're defiantly talking that way. But all of their actions have pointed to they're preparing for the worst and now Garrett

4:09not showing up when there was a million dollars on the line for him just going. He's testing them. That's how I see it. I don't think the bills are in a position where they could really do anything about this. I think Brandon Bean would love that player. He has said it. Last year on a podcast, if you could have any player in the league, are there enough financial gymnastics that are possible that they could do it? It's a $23 million cap it, but it's only a $1 million base salary. Maybe there is a way. He actually with that is more tradable, I think this is how it looks. He's more tradable for a team with no cap space than Dexter Lawrence's who's also demanding a trade from the New York Giants. So maybe there is something, but I think this needs to be on people's radars.

5:19The five year draft pick rule, reworking his contract that does nothing for Cleveland other than makes it easier for them to trade him. The fact they signed a tradable contract in the first place a year ago, Garrett talking all about and writing a letter wanting out a year ago. Now he's not showing up when there was a million dollar bonus on the line. There's too much smoke to ignore it. And for some reason, ESPN's not all over it. This is mid April. We'd be bearing Thai Simpson in the new cycle. We did that. Come on. What we got to talk about Thai Simpson for the 9,000th time. The thing I wondered about that is maybe they're not doing that because they hammered the Miles Garrett topic a year ago and like, are we just going to do this again? That hasn't stopped them on topics like that before. You have NBA stuff too right now and be a playoffs and whatnot. I just think Garrett could very well be traded and he's the best defensive player in the

6:25league. That is, that's monumental. The idea that a player that's that good could be traded still and there's a lot of smoke that I think says he could. I would take right now him just not going to New England. You told me right, like bills won't get him, but New England won't get him. I think I would have to take that because there's a chance right now. And this is not how it works, I believe, because 23 million is the cap hit, 1 million base salary. The teams right now that still have the most cap space that would have the easiest time getting Garrett that are contenders. The chargers have 50 million in space still somehow New England, 36 million in space, Philadelphia, 35 million, you know where he'd go, that's the team. That's the big swinging team that always makes the giant move that that's the team.

7:31They're in on every star pass rusher that exists all the time, Philly can do it, Seattle's got 34 million in space, Baltimore, how do all these good teams have space? Here are the bills near the bottom and there's some other good teams that have no space, Kansas City's got none, the Jaguars have none, Tampa's got none. So here's the Seahawks with 34, Eagles with 35, New England, 36 chargers, 49.9, the Niners have 29, the Rams have 28, yeah, that's a lot of contenders that could bid for Garrett.
