The Israeli military says the brother of the suspect in last week's attack on a synagogue in Michigan was a Hezbollah commander and has been eliminated in a strike. In a post on X today, Israel Defense Forces say Ebrahim Muhammad Ghazali was responsible for managing weapons operations within a specialized unit that launched hundreds of rockets at Israeli civilians.

1:04His brother, Amon Muhammad Ghazali, is accused of driving a truck full of fireworks and jugs of gasoline into the synagogue near Detroit. He reportedly had posted online the night before that several of his relatives had been killed in an Israeli air strike in southern Lebanon. President Trump says he's not ready to make a deal to end the war with Iran even though that country is willing to negotiate. Trump tells NBC News that's because the terms aren't good enough yet. Meanwhile, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations says conversations are ongoing with countries to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Mike Walts made the comments on CNN's State of the Union. The U.S. military will continue to pound the Iranian military at their missile boat and drone forces to keep the straits open. Iran's new leader has vowed to block the Strait of Hormuz in response to the ongoing attacks by the United States and Israel. An Australian tech entrepreneur claims he used AI to create a personalized cancer vaccine for his dog.

2:05The Australian reported the eight-year-old dog named Rosie was diagnosed with mast cell cancer and was given months to live. Her owner, Paul Koningham, used chat GPT to develop a plan and an AI program, Alpha Fold, to analyze protein structures linked to cancer. Koningham worked with researchers at the University of New South Wales to develop the vaccine, which was given to Rosie in December, and the tumor was reportedly decreased by half its original size. The Academy Awards takes place tonight in Hollywood. Centers is the most nominated film in Oscar history with 16 nods. Conan O'Brien is the host. I'm Rob Martyr. The State Department is offering a $10 million reward for information on Iranian leaders as the conflict in the Middle East continues. The Department via its Rewards for Justice Division says it's seeking information on the key leaders of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its component branches. The notice on the reward lists new Iranian Supreme Leader Moshe Taba Khomeini, the son of former Supreme Leader Ali Khomeini.

The price of an ad-free Prime Video subscription is going up, more from Lisa Carton. Amazon announced Friday upgrading to the ad-free tier will cost $4.99 per month, starting April 10th on top of the cost for an Amazon Prime subscription. The ad-free tier will be rebranded as Prime Video Ultra. It will allow users to stream on as many as five devices at the same time. Other perks include up to 100 downloads to watch offline, as well as access for KUHD quality streaming. If you work out of your home, you could save some big bucks this tax season. Jack Kromli explains. Tax season is here, and the IRS is reminding Americans that the Home Office deduction is still available for 2025 filings. CPA Lisa Green Lewis with TurboTax says there's a popular misconception that taking the deduction is a red flag that'll prompt an IRS audit. Less than 1% of people are actually audited, and also if you have receipts, then you should feel empowered to take it.

4:14To claim the deduction, your home office must be used regularly and exclusively for business. The tax filing deadline is Wednesday, April 15th, at midnight. Sean Diddy-Kombs is appealing his prison sentence. The Friday filing argues that the rapper had been found not guilty of the more serious charge in that the 50-month sentence for the Man Act conviction punishes him for crimes of which he was acquitted.
